This man does not have consistent pricing. He charges you based off of who picked up their shoes or not. For example if you dropped off a pair of shoes and I dropped off a pair. You didn't pick yours up so I have to make up the cost of you not picking up your shoes. Not to mention it takes an about two months to get your shoes back. read more

Make sure to check your repaired shoes thoroughly before leaving the shop. The heel replacement was well done but when I got home I realized my navy blue shoes were no longer navy blue. They were polished black. I took them back and he did the work needed to remove the black polish he used and got the shoes back to navy blue. Dropped three pairs of shoes off for re-sole and a loafer for sewing loose stitching early November. I was told to pick them up on December 2. When I picked them up today, the guy in the counter could not find my shoes. This place is so disorganized that it was littered in wall to wall shoes. Meanwhile, he was helping people after me. He was promising them shorter turnaround times. He did find my shoes eventually in the bottom shelf along with other random piles of shoes. NO REPAIRS HAVE BEEN DONE TO THEM!!! I would give this place 0 stars if I could since no services promised were rendered. AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE A PLAGUE!!! I looked around town for a good shoe repair service. This place was in a nice area and seemed to have good reviews. It doesn't look like much from the outside or inside (nothing fancy) but they did a great job! The owner is very quiet and kind. He made my shoes look great and at a great price! I can't complain. I will definitely be using this shop again. Attached are pictures of before and after! My shoes look almost brand new and they were in tough shape before. A FIVE star cobbler, this guy does amazing work with shoes. My wife goes through heels like water and I typically need to take in at least one pair a month. Never more than $10, the work is perfect and I've yet to have to take in the same pair of shoes a second time. I've also had two of my own pairs shined up and they were iridescent. He always seems busy working, so I've never pressed him for "while-I-wait" service. The ticket is always for two or three days hence and they have always been ready at the promised time. I rarely write reviews, however the service, craftsmanship and price from Park Road Shoe Service are unbeatable. I had a pair of highly damaged boots that I needed re-soled and re-heeled. I dropped them off expecting some issues with the repair process. Not only was I given a quick turnaround on the repair time, but when I got my boots back they were in incredible shape. The soles and heel looked better than when I bought them new! The owner/operator is extremely skilled, soft-spoken and very reasonably price. I can't recommend this place enough! read more

Tucked in the very rear of Park Road Shopping Center, adjacent to a dancing school, sits the little cobbler shop that could. It's not much to see, being mainly a disheveled and cluttered counter with a few retail items for sale that clearly have been collecting dust for awhile, but the sole shop owner and worker knows exactly what he is doing and works for an extremely fair price. I've had more than a couple pair of dress shoes completely resoled here and my wife always manages to have a few pair of heels that need either new taps or heavier reconstruction done. The owner can quickly take a look at your shoes and tell you what he can and can't do, and whether that it would be worth it for the price charged. All shoe work comes with a fresh polish, which is always appreciated, especially from a guy who works in a suit every day of the week. The owner won't talk too much, but he is friendly and very fair in his assessments. The shop can also work on other leather items as well. This typically includes belts and the occasional ladies purse that needs some small sewing repair work. In any case, I'm not aware of any work that is done on the spot. Rather, the owner will take your name and phone number and give you a yellow ticket with a day to return- which is usually 3-4 business days. My work has always been done when promised and there has never been any surprise "up charges" when it came time to settle up. This shop has won my business and I'll return frequently. If you have quality leather goods that need some repair work, this shop should make your short list. Bravo. read more

I took my favorite boots to this place to get new heels. Easily, these boots are at least 10 years old, so they are very worn with little nicks in the leather. I thought at best, my boots would return looking like old boots with new heels. However, when I got them back my boots look brand new. In addition, I was shocked when he said it cost under $20. This cobbler is experienced and talented. He re-soled some very expensive shoes of my husband's and polished another pair that had an oil spot on the top of the shoe. I needed them repaired quickly because I was called out of town at the last minute. He helped me out by getting them back quickly and refused to take the extra money I offered.
