I had been looking for a style of sunglasses called "Tutto Lente", a term to signify Total Lens,…read morewhich means no appearance of a frame from front view. Well, the ones I looked at near LA were $1500 or more and figured I can't afford the latest craze in sun eyewear. NOPE! I decided to browse their selection just in case something kinda sorta looked like that style. Well, talk about shock, surprise and elation! They had an entire selection of this style and for $7.99 (2 pair purchase). Are yous guys kidding me??? WOW!!! They are theee coolest pair of shades I ever purchased and get so many compliments and disbelief how cheap they were. I am beyond satisfied with my purchase but buyer beware, these are prolly made in "you know where" and the temple broke fairly quickly. Hence, handle with great care and gentility. If you have some super glue and a roll of hockey tape , consider the problem solved fyi. I continue to wear my repaired pair with hardly any notice of the fix. This works well for a black pair, I also purchased a stunning Pink Rainbow shade that might prove more challenging, but for some reason the temples are sturdier. High recommend for the latest styles, which for some reason was located in the rear of the store in a back aisle not visible from the entrance. I imagine this will change as these totally rock the glam look. Enjoy!!

WRONG GLASS BY INTENTION AND DISCRIMINATION BY A.B'S FRONT OFFICE…read moreA.B, aka known as America's Worst, illegally altered the Optometrist's prescription, to produce glasses for a blind person, then denied corrections, abandoning and discriminating against me.  Here are the details: 1- PRESCRIPTION FOR GLASSES ALTERED ILLEGALLY, CORRECTION REJECTED: On April 20, 2026, I saw an Optometrist at A.B in Palm Springs, CA, for an eye exam and new glasses. The Optometrist did a thorough exam and prescribed new glasses. My right eye has a dislocated intraocular lens, and AMD, yet I can see with my right eye with my previous corrective lens. I needed improved new glasses. For reading/computer, the Optometrist wrote a prescription for my left eye only, as I am not using my right eye for reading/computer. She was very compassionate, diligent, and very knowledgeable, as she is an expert in Low Vision.  I went to the front desk to have the glasses ordered, paid the portion not covered by my insurance, and left.  On May 8, 2026, I went back to get the glasses. Carlos Remus, the General Manager, brought me the glasses. When I placed the distance glasses on my face, I noticed right away that the glass for my right eye had zero correction, was plain glass ("balance") and told Carlos so. He told me it would take me about 2 weeks "to get used to the new glasses". I repeated that the glass for my right eye had no correction at all. He then proposed he would look at the order sheet and compare it to the doctor's prescription, to see if the order was incorrect. "The prescription and glasses order are the same, no errors", he lied to me afterwards. I knew that that could not be true, and wanted to see the Optometrist. Carlos refused, alleging she was busy. I wanted to make an appointment to see her. He rejected, saying he wanted to give me a refund instead. America's Best's protocol is to work on the glasses, if there is a problem, allowing to see the Optometrist. Carlos denied me that right, openly violating their policy. He denied me every due step, every right for correct glasses.  When I was home, his Assistant Manager called me to tell me they refunded everything fully, then abused me verbally, and hung up, after insisting there was no error.  I called America's Best's Beaumont office, as their Palm Springs office was in total violation of every service protocol. Virginia at the Beaumont office looked at all the data in their customer registries and found that the Optometrist's prescription was altered during the processing of ordering glasses: The heavy corrections for the Distance Glass for my right eye was completely void, replaced by "balance", which was a plain glass with zero correction. Virginia acknowledged that altering a doctor's prescription was illegal, and stated she would talk to her manager. Neither her manager, nor the manager at the Palm Springs office, nor their Executive Staff at their Headquarter, responded to my requests for correction. It became evident that America's Best had no intention to honor their policy, which is to produce correct lenses, when the lenses  are incorrect.  2- THE ILLEGAL ALTERING OF DOCTOR'S PRESCRIPTION WAS DONE BY A STAFF MEMBER, WHO ALIGNED THE PRESCRIPTION WITH ANOTHER OPTOMETRIST'S FALSE DIAGNOSIS. BOTH DEFINed MY RIGHT EYE FALSELY AS BLIND. BOTH ARE PALESTINIANS, I AM JEWISH -- TOO MUCH OF A COINCIDENCE ? In Febr. of 2026, I saw Dr. Taleb Alsafi, an Optometrist/Imam, who told me I was blind in my R eye, after faking an eye exam. None of his diagnosis was factual. He wanted me to have a glass with no corrections for my R eye, which reappeared in America's Best's incorrect glasses, after the prescription was illegally altered. Both the staff member who altered the prescription at America's Best, and Dr. Alsafi, wanted me to have no correction on my R eye glass, based on a fake "blind" diagnosis. Both are Palestinians. I am Jewish. Too much of a coincidence ? I think so, especially as the General Manager of the Palm Springs A. B office and their HQ's refused to honor their policy to redo the glasses when the glasses are wrong. They went out of their way to deny me my rights as a patient, abused me, abandoned me, and discriminated against me. THIS IS THE TRUE FACE OF AMERICA'S BEST. I am in the process of having this investigated on a State and Federal level. America's Best should not be allowed to operate. Illegal prescription changes are a felonious crime. Discrimination is subject to major legal actions. This business is in violation of several laws.
