I reluctantly paid it after telling the guy I found a 25lb can everywhere for about $250 retail. They used much less than 25lbs. Plus when I told the guy it wasn't blowing as cold after he fixed it, he gave me some explanation that he did it properly. It felt like a total bait and switch and I didn't enjoy the experience.

Not only did he return my call, he did so within 25 minutes of my call, and arrived at my house 30 minutes after that. TALK ABOUT A+ AFTER-HOURS SERVICE! He was very pleasant, professional, and understanding of my plight, having kids himself, he knew that there would be no way a baby could sleep in our house that night. In ~45 minutes, he had the problem diagnosed, FIXED, and the AC blasting again. I knew that I would have to pay extra for the after-hours emergency AC house-visit, but I think it was a fair price at the end of it, and definitely worth every penny. I let him use my garden hose and when I came back with the hose he bypass the water supply but I did not notice that he also disconnected the gas line. Then he took pictures and sent it to the warranty company for approval and left and said that he will come back after they ( First American Home Warranty) will approve the replacement.request. After few hours I check the hose if it's still dripping water and saw it already stop. I called the warranty company if the request was already approved but the lady on the other end said 24 business hours ( 3 days ) the approval is still under review. Then I disconnected the hose from the water heater and notice that the gas line was also disconnected from water heater exposing the gas line. I called back Firat American Home Warranty about the gas line expose because it was disconnected by Cris of Blue Diamond plumbing. He suppose to ask first the water heater replacement approval before touching the water ( disconnecting the gas line and bypassing the water supply to the water heater). Now I will be stuck with disconnected water heater and no hot water for another at least 3 to ? Days. Really bad customer service. This is not done yet. And the house is in Las Vegas area.

After another plumbing company scheduled an appointment for us and then later canceled it with no explanation, we called True Plumbing on Monday morning. Eric from True Plumbing showed up when he said he would, took a quick look at our problem, and explained the three possible causes of the leak, along with how much each would cost to fix if said problem was found. The area would have to be minimally excavated to locate the underground leak. He was very up front about what the diagnostic process would be and what the repairs would entail for each of the three possible scenarios, including what he would do to avoid damaging the driveway. Eric was transparent, very easy to communicate with, and obviously a knowledgable, experienced plumber. After that five-minute conversation, my husband and I both felt 100% comfortable hiring True Plumbing to come back with a team to excavate the problem the next day. True Plumbing got to work when they said they would, the day before Christmas Eve no less. Sure enough, the problem was scenario #1 on their list of three possible causes of the leak. A decade before we bought the house, the sprinkler system had been connected to the house's water pipes using an illegal part that had finally failed. True Plumbing said that since sprinkler technicians are not certified plumbers, problems like that are common. Be careful who you hire to tamper with your water pipes! True Plumbing fixed the leak and we had water restored to the house within a couple of hours! The cost ($800) matched the verbal estimate to the penny. Use a debit card or cash to avoid the 3% credit card fee. They even completely cleaned up their work site. Real professionals. 100% recommend.

He was also unable to use the camera to look into the pipe claiming something stuck and his camera cannot get inside while several other plumbing companies have no problem to do so. The quote they got ended up is 3 times more expensive than the other quotes. It's also only one lump sum without any item breakdown like other plumbing companies did. We are a general construction company and have hired Emerson for multiple jobs in the past. Emerson charged us a substantial amount to replace existing lights with solar lights. Per his contract, he provided a three-year labor warranty and a five-year manufacturer warranty. Shortly after the initial installation, five of the solar lights showed defects and were replaced under warranty. We are now experiencing the same issue again, as the replacement lights are once more defective. We requested that these be covered under warranty in accordance with the contract. We had a clear agreement on a specific date and time for Emerson to provide the replacement lights. Based on that agreement, the boom lift was scheduled and all arrangements were put in place at our expense. When the agreed-upon date and time arrived, Emerson never showed up. Since then, he has completely stopped communicating with us and has provided no updates or solutions. Based on the lack of communication and failure to honor the warranty, our next steps are to pursue legal action and file an insurance claim, as we have documentation of the warranty provided. While Emerson has completed work for us in the past, we have consistently noticed that whenever issues arose on his projects, he would deflect responsibility, blame other contractors, and attempt to charge service fees rather than stand behind his warranty. If warranty support is important to you, we recommend proceeding with caution, as our experience has been that he avoids responsibility once issues arise.
