For five years we've taken our cars here. 1.) we started noticing both cars having same issues after oil changes. 2.) Hubs and good mechanic friend look at car carefully prior to oil change and tire rotation. When our car was done we noticed something was off. Brought it back after finding that they broke some part off during their tire rotation. We were charged fees for them to fix their mistake! Awful service! Cheaters even. 3.) brought car back again for oil change noticed something wrong with car after oil change. Brought it up to them, they diagnosed a 2k fix!!! We went to another mechanic and NOTHING close to the 2k fix at all!!! Something is up. I no longer trust these guys here. read more

So I'm in the military currently serving out of state, but the sales tax is lower in NC so I enlisted my Dad to help me purchase a vehicle in NC. I shopped around at multiple Honda Dealerships in North Carolina, South Carolina, and even where I'm stationed (Colorado). Parker Honda was the ONLY dealership that believed in true customer service and were honest dealers. They went far beyond what other Honda dealerships were doing. I found their dealership using True Car. They bent over backwards to honor the price they advertised on the site while others seemed to use it for bait and switch. When they found a vehicle I wanted they removed already installed add-ons to configure the vehicle the way I wanted it, not how they wanted to sell it. Other dealerships gave a flat out no to doing that. They volunteered to deliver the vehicle a hour and a half away to Wilmington at no additional charge. Where the dealership there flat out said, "Buy the vehicle from us or don't, someone will buy it for how we want to sell it and at the price we want to charge." Parker Honda understood I was a customer. They understood that I could buy any brand of vehicle I wanted. They understood I could buy a Honda almost anywhere I wanted. They earned my business and made the process easy and enjoyable. Other dealerships almost turned me off of Honda's as a brand due to the way I was treated. But Parker Honda not only represented themselves well, they represented the Honda brand well and are by far the best Honda dealership I've encountered. Drive out of your way to shop there if you have to, I will be buying my next Honda from them regardless of where I'm stationed. read more

I own a Honda CRV purchased at Parker three years ago. Today I went in to have My state inspection and while it was being done went looking for Chip Chamberlain, a new sales consultant, whom I knew as the previous general manager at the COUNTRY CLUB of the CRYSTAL COAST. I was definitely not looking for a new car. But Chip in his professional, knowledgeable and a kind manner answered my casual questions about the 2019 upgrades and safety features. He never pushed, listened carefully and respected my answers. He never said or asked questions like well if you were looking for a new car, how much would you be willing to spend or how much do you think your car is worth. Nothing like what would it take you to get you into a new car, which I have had other times. Chip had a car brought To me, offered a test drive which I didn't take because I had taken one with another salesman, and demonstrated the changes. Then all he asked was would you like us to appraise your vehicle. I could've said no, but said yes and Chip advocated for me with management. Needless to say I left Parker Honda driving my 2019 CRV. I am always one who has buyers remorse in every medium or large purchase, but today, because of the way Chip handled everything, I am delighted with my new car. I am from out of town and my battery clip was loose, which I discovered when the car died. After reconnecting the battery, I realized I did not know what the security codes were for the radio and navigation system. I drove to the service station and was greeted so nicely. The woman at the desk came out and helped me reset systems. Another gentleman in the service bay came out and fixed the clip on the battery. They did all of this with no charge and with a smile. Best service shop and sales! I've had awful experiences at other Honda dealers, but This location is truly amazing! Buddy Willis isn't just a salesman he truly cares about getting his customers into the exact vehicle that fits them. I went in to get service on my 2014 Accord, but thought I'd take a look around. I saw a BMW on the lot, and he took me on a test drive. It felt small and cramped and not as great as my exl. He said he had a special on a 2017 exl I might be interested. However it was burgundy color, and I like black, grey, or silver cars. A silver 2017 Honda Accord Touring caught my eye. We took it on a test drive and I was in love with it. He and Brian in financing worked with me and got me really close to what I was paying for my 2014 and I now have every option and more! This is the only Honda dealership you should go to for Service or a new car PERIOD! They know they'll see me again in about 3 years lol! read more

On March 29th, this place showed the absolute definition of GREAT customer service. I was out of town on business. I ran over a nail. Pulled up to their service bay at about 5 p.m. Tim Knight (not sure about the spelling) came right out to me & asked how he could help. I told him I had a nail in my tire & the air was leaking out as fast as it was put in. He took my van into the bay area, told me they didn't have a tire, but could order 1 or they could put my spare tire on. I asked him to put the spare on. He did & didn't charge me a dime! Asked if there was anything else he could do, I said, no & I was on my way in 20 minutes!!!! I can't say enough about this guy, his employees & the way I was treated!! read more

The fastest and easiest car buying experience I have ever had! I appreciated that I was able to communicate with someone about the internet ad and verify the terms before I had to go to the dealership in person. This made the process much quicker and I did not have to spend a whole day haggling over terms and waiting for approval at the dealership. I was able to just show up, test drive the car, and sign the papers. I always dread purchasing a vehicle because I detest the typical experience of dealing with a misleading salesperson playing games and going through the charade of good cop/bad cop with the supervisor. I experienced none of that with Ken Hawk and was very pleased. He was very straightforward and verified all the terms of the lease I was expecting from the online ad and the internet sales consultant who responded to my initial email. I kept expecting something in the fine print or some catch that would alter the monthly payment, down payment, or extra fees, but it never came. The only difference is that there is a property tax bill due to complete the car registration and I thought that was included in the lease but the amount is minor. Dealing with Ken Hawk was very pleasant and I will definitely recommend him and Parker Honda. read more
