I've been a patient of Dr. Mabrito's for almost 10 years, and he is by far and away the best dentist I've ever had. He is my regular dentist, but also did my veneers, which I couldn't be more pleased with--people I've known for years are always shocked when they find out they aren't my real teeth! The office is beautiful with accessible parking, and couldn't have a better view--each of the rooms overlook Memorial Park to downtown. Dr. Mabrito pays extreme attention to detail, and is always sure to have the most state of the art technology, so you can feel certain that you are in the best hands. Each of the staff is lovely to work with, and I've never sat in the waiting room for more than a few minutes. The entire office is extremely friendly, punctual, and professional. I want to write another review because I'm still seeking to find a dentist in Colorado who will take the time and care to meet my dental needs. I'm flying back to Dr. Mabrito and his excellent, caring staff. If you have had rework done over and over again, this is the office to visit to finally get it right. If you feel vulnerable and "at risk" in the dental chair, this office is your experts. However, if getting by on the cheap is your goal, this probably isn't the place. You will need to pay for the care up front and see what your insurance will cover through reimbursement. Just ask if there is a payment plan though. I don't know. I've seen many, many dentists over 2 decades who water at the mouth and get big dollar signs in their eyes when they look into your mouth. You don't have to put up with that here. Read dr. Don't let the dental office push you down to the low person on the totem pole. Note that this review is to warn anyone going to Dr. Mabrito for anything outside of a teeth cleaning. I hope no one has to go through what I've endured by being a patient at Mabrito Dental. The hygienists are amazing and very nice, but nothing else in this establishment is functional or logical. I came in with a very complicated case due to an accident I had. I was accepted as a patient under the false impression that Dr. Mabrito would be able to help me. I am not a dental specialist and needed to know what all I needed done. Note that they will charge you $49 to take pictures of you and $142 because you met with them and said you had an oral problem. Then I had to follow up a week later to come in for more pictures, a $169 x-ray and for them to make models of my teeth at $226. One of the main things I needed was a treatment plan.This was promised to happen at a consulation a week after photos, xrays and impressions were taken. 3 weeks later I was finally able to see Dr. Mabrito and was charged $142 to discuss the findings from my evaluation.....which ended with him not telling me anything new, not providing me with a treatment plan, not following up with the dr who referred me, not contacting any dental professional who had worked with me before or the oral surgeon who did my bone graft. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and corrected his incorrect assumptions, but him and his office never followed up on anything. In fact, they ended up requesting that I contact my oral surgeon and transmit records between the 2 dental professionals a few weeks later. I would understand them making that request if my oral surgeon was difficult to reach or contact, but they just flat out refused to do it on their own. I don't know why they even have office staff. I could go on and on with all of the issues I had with Mabrito Dental. I wish I never walked in their office in the first place. However, I felt like I was already stuck with them and kept giving Dr. Mabrito the benefit of the doubt, thinking there was no way things could be this bad with all of his good reviews. I was hopeful that things would improve and get better. The final straw was when they tried to charge me an extra $950 for a set of appliances that already cost $1900 (950/piece) with no clear explanation of what the fee was for. The appliances were not suitable for wear, and myself and the technician pointed out some things that we both agreed could improve and needed to change. Because it was not explained why I would be charged the fee and what exactly it covered, I requested a refund and they then offered to continue without charging the extra fee. This should have been the case initially without the constant back and forth between the front desk staff and myself. TLDR: They will overcharge you and fall short on their promises. If you are considering cosmetic dentistry, I would highly suggest that you STAY AWAY from Mabrito Dental. I visited several of the most highly recommended and talented dentists in Greater Houston before making my decision. Without a doubt, Mabrito dental is not in that class. VERY POOR SERVICE, no follow-up whatsoever, and nickel and dime charges for the consultation ($184 that they don't tell you about beforehand). Moreover, I didn't even receive an estimate for the work I wanted despite calling them and responding to the survey they sent me. The doctor mentioned some approximates during the consultation, but acted as if he really didn't know the cost or what he was going to do. I cannot speak about their general dentistry practice, but I'm guessing this is what they do mostly. Again, for any cosmetic dentistry, I know there are much better options! read more

I have been a patient of Dr. Mabrito's for the last 3 years. I was referred to him by a family friend. Dr. Mabrito is a very thorough and conservative dentist. After an initial exam and x-rays, he consulted with me on my mouth/teeth. I was overwhelmed (in a good way) with the amount of information I received. I scheduled appointments and completed all my treatment. I go back every 6 months for my routine cleanings and check-ups. Both of Dr. Mabrito's hygienists, Julia and Linda, are wonderful and give me a lot of information during every visit. I have recommended Dr. Mabrito to all my family and friends. read more
