If you child attends private school. Chances are you know Parker Uniforms. The store is setup in the way that you have to talk to a staff member behind counter, to get any help. Do not expect to walk in with your kid and try things on. They do not have clothes on display so you cannot touch and feel the items until you ask the staff. They run to the back and get your items. No it's not efficient but what can you do? Don't come right before school starts. You will WAIT A LONG time. The quality of the clothes are legit. They are made to be worn daily. So much more durable than regular clothes. Expect to pay a little more because of that. But you get what you pay for. Example: khakis pants for 5 yr old boys runs about $30. It's not bad considering that they will wear it daily and wash all the time. Service is ok. You can also shop online if you know exactly what size you need. read more

I came on a Saturday and didn't know that I could get in line virtually, so the wait was about 45 minutes in the store. We left and came back on a Sunday using the online queue and we were helped as soon as we walked through the door. Brandy (I think that was her name) brought out my son's uniform shorts and pants to try. She was very nice and helpful! The prices are ridiculously high, but if your child is in private school then you're used to that. I definitely recommend this location. read more

I agree with the only other review so far: This place needs some serious help but since it is a monopoly of sorts, I doubt that is going to happen. I imagined walking in and grabbing sizes and trying them on....but NOOOOOOO.. You walk up and it's similar to a concession stand set-up. They take your order after looking it up painstakingly in a catalog and then disappear for a long time to the back and return with it. I, too, will note the staff gal was very friendly and helpful. In fact, she was delightful. But the whole set-up of ordering the clothes/sizes and then the employee running back and forth is grossly inefficient. Mercifully we were thee ONLY customers in there on a Friday at 2pm but oh my gosh, if there were others in line or busy for school etc the wait would be unbearable. They should make appointments or something.... As the pictures show, the only thing out on the floor are hair accessories and shoes and socks. There queue system is awful. I'm perfectly content ordering online but if I want to have my child try something on, I have to wait in their ridiculous queue to even talk to somebody. First check in said 79 minute wait, then 15 minutes later my wait was down to 78 minutes. 15 minutes later the wait was down to 32 minutes. Completely inefficient. Overheard another woman upset that she went to eat lunch based on her 90 minute estimated wait and missed her turn Bc the system is so inefficient. read more

Most awful customer service ever. She acted like we were bothering her to do her job. When we asked to try on some uniforms before picking a size she acted very bothered. Ummm this is all part of the job. She may be better working at a prison or something where you don't need to smile or be around small children. If I could leave negative stars I would. Never ordering at the store again. Online all the way. I've heard the online customer service is a lot nicer. Since this is our first uniform experience we wanted to see in person. Never again. I've been going to this location in Plano for seven years. The wonderful caring staff always take great care of me each year. They are wonderful to work with in person and also offer online ordering which makes things easy when the lines are long. So many people like me come back year after year to this wonderful store. I'm going to be the alternate poster here. I was actually dreading going here given the reviews, but since we had to get uniforms for my son and we ordered the wrong size online, I had to go. When I walked in, their systems were down and I almost thought I was going to have a bad experience. However, Brandi took it old school andc processed my sizing switches by hand and even called me a couple hours later to let me know she was able to input my backorder in when their systems came back up. I'm not sure who may have been there when the other customers came, but I found the staff friendly, accommodating, and has a great experience. read more

I found this store very difficult to shop. The queue system is not customer friendly. If you have a simple question you are told to get in the queue. The store management seems to not care that they have unhappy customers. It's very frustrating that there are so few uniforms stores in the DFW area. read more

This place is absolutely crazy. There are no clothes on racks. You have to go inside, sign in and then be prepared to sit, and sit and sit. It took over any hour for our name to be called. Once called the employee goes to the back and gets the items. Then while your child is trying the clothes on they call the next person. This system seems so ineffective. I am not sure of the thought behind the process. My plan was to run in grab some shirts for my son and then leave. I do have to say that the manager in the store was very helpful and kind. She said they have tried a variety of ways to process the customers through but this seemed to be the best way. Don't go if you are in any sort of hurry.. read more

It's a shame they can treat you so poorly because we have no other options to buy our kids uniforms. I went in June to get my sons uniforms to avoid the august rush. They had to order one of his shirts and said it would be shipped to our house. It never came. I called. No answer. I messaged on Facebook and no one helped me. I finally entered the terrible que system and sent my husband because I have 3 small children I wasn't going to drag into the store and wait with. The que said we had about an hour and a half wait. Then 15 minutes later I got a text we got in. Then 1 minute later I got a text we missed it!!!! What in the world?!! I wish I could leave a review on Facebook but there is no option for that. Someone shoot me! I've been here in the queue longer than the estimated time. The person at the F station where I need to make a return is not helping anyone and has not been helping anyone for the last 5-10 minutes. I am returning the uniforms 3 weeks before school starts because they listed the wrong uniforms on the website. Tomorrow I will ordering the right uniforms on line because there is no way I'm doing it here. Terrible so far!!! I have left the store because the lady who was working returns refused to see me. She told me that I would have to wait more time while she worked on an order where the person was not present. I said that I am present and would like help now as I am past my estimated time. I have never really had a good experience here. The attitude is very cold and uninviting. The young lady that checked me out today was fine but the older woman in the store didn't even look up at me and said "one second." I am going to see if there is another uniform store to go to...this behavior is consistent. Thank gosh I don't have to go here often. read more

The staff is very friendly. They do try their best to satisfy every customer. They are limited on supplies and staff. Their check in queue is horrible and always has a glitch. You will not be able to walk in and pick up anything. You will have to wait 20 minutes or more. And during back to school month , they are out of things and you will wait over an hour. Plan ahead. Do not wait until 2 days before school or your kiddo will not have a complete uniform. read more

Worst customer service on the planet. Advice, never order a custom item with standard items. They will fail miserably on the custom(like having a name on a gym shirt). It will never get ready and then your in stock items won't ship either. Then prepare to be on hold forever. And ever. And ever. Want them to ship the non custom stuff?? I have never had a positive experience at the Plano location. The on average 3 hour wait time is not acceptable and leaves EVERY customer frustrated. This poor customer service stays the same year after year which points to the management of the company. Can't really say anything positive about any of my experiences there. They are understaffed, overworked, and generally condescending to customers. This year they decided to sell their uniforms on-site at my son's school and didn't bring nearly enough inventory which forced us to place an order and wait for it to come in the mail. Problem is, they now say that they can't find the orders. And if that's not bad enough already, I sat on-hold for nearly an hour yesterday and nobody ever picked up, so apparently they've apparently quit answering their phones too. read more

The clothing quality is good. Customer service is terrible. They only serve one customer at a time. The system is inefficient and frustrating. You will leave questioning all decisions you've made in life that brought you to have to wait in such a hellish place. They take advantage of their place in the uniform supply monopoly. read more

I was appalled by one of the rudest sales associates I have ever encountered in my whole life. She was condescending to me. I knew exactly the size that I needed and asked for it. The associate proceeded to tell me that before she would let me have it that "I" needed to measure my son. Of course, it was the size that I originally had asked for. She was so condescending and I am finding that the other reviews are much the same. I wouldn't think of purchasing from this store and will now shop exclusively with their competition, Academic Outfitters. They are friendly, less expensive, and much more accommodating with seamstresses and owners on staff. AO is definitely worth the drive. read more

I agree with all the reviews about the queue system. That is the most ridiculous system I have ever seen/experienced. But to top it all, the last visit I had, I waited about 45 min (the store wasn't even busy) and walked out with nothing because either the sales associate was not familiar with sizing or didn't care/ bother to look up the next size up, so she told me the sizes I needed were sold out when in fact those sizes were not even available to begin with. So I went on line, looked up the sizes myself according to the sizing chart. It's been 2 weeks since I submitted the order online, and the status still says "pending fulfillment". I have no idea what that means. I love the quality of their uniforms, but it is the most unpleasant and inconvenient experience purchasing their uniforms. When I tried to send an email thru their website, it kept saying "Subject is required and needs to be longer than 3 characters. Your case has not been submitted". The subject is a drop down menu, and I tried using every one of them & it still doesn't work! I don't even have a yelp account but I'm signing up just to give them a bad review.
