Marshall has done an amazing job with Lego these past couple of years and he is only groomer we trust with our dog. When we first took Lego to get groomed at a different groomer. She rushed the session and Lego ended up having to get stitches because of an accident. She blamed it on Lego being jumpy, so we were very worried about taking him to be groomed again. But then we found Marshall and we have not had to worry since! Marshall really takes his time with Lego to make sure he is comfortable and not nervous. He sends us videos of Lego enjoying his time playing with Parker and eating all the snacks! He also takes his time to talk to us about tips when it comes to Lego's grooming upkeep between sessions, which we really appreciate! I highly recommend Marshall as your next groomer. He is the type of groomer who really cares about your dog's experience during the groom and does an impeccable job with the grooming itself! Photos below of some of Lego's cute cuts over the years!
We took Noodle to see Marshall back in April and let me tell you, there's no need to look anywhere else. Not only does Marshall take the time to make sure our furbaby is comfortable and cared for but he listens to our concerns and preferences as well. Noodle was extremely matted post surgery and Marshall hand combed her out (taking many many breaks in between ensuring Noodle was not overwhelmed by the brushing). Noodle comes back to us looking and smelling wonderful every time and most importantly she's happy! Marshall also takes the time to teach us how to care for Noodle properly, that's how much he cares for our doggo's wellbeing. Get your appointments in as soon as you can or risk missing out!
Long overdue review - but Marshall took such great care of Khaleesi. I brought her about a month ago and she still smells good!! Whatever fragrance Eve used I definitely want it ha. Prior to her appointment, I let Marshall know in advance that she's a very anxious dog, and he took his time to let her meet him and get comfortable with him before taking her. Within 5 minutes she was trotting away with him and didn't even look back! (Which has never happened with any other groomer before, we've tried petco and other grooming services prior). She came back looking like the cutest fluff ball ever, lots of compliments that she looked like a polar bear. I also appreciated that he asked if she's okay to eat other dog food prior to feeding it to her. I'll definitely be bringing her back time and time again - thank you for such amazing work Marshall! I'm always pleasantly surprised to see my toy poodle, Dee Dee, coming out after her grooming -- which tends to be bit difficult-- walking with Marshall like they are best friends. She always looks and feels great. Dee Dee's been letting Marshall groom her for 2 years, and we're always happy with the results. Marshall is kind, gracious, and easy to deal with. Give him a call!
Marshall was super responsive and gave our dog, Shallot, exactly the haircut he needed -- following all our random instructions like leaving his tail a bit bushier and leaving just enough to comb over the remnants of his ball sack. Not to mention, Shallot came back smelling great. Definitely going to continue booking with him in the future.
My almost 16 year old pup hadn't been groomed in 6 months. He'd had a rough Spring, was having back and arthritis issues and when he was finally strong enough to get groomed- my regular place said he was too old. Lucky for us because I found Parker's Doghouse and Marshall through a friend. I thought taking my older anxious pup to a quiet more personal space would be easier on him than a salon. He was so matted and dingy- wouldn't let me brush him. He looked like he had no mama!! And he was clearly very uncomfortable. mY little Schnuggle left a new man with a spring in his step and feeling fine! Marshall made me feel safe to leave my elderly guy with him. He's gentle and Schnuggle immediately liked him. Highly recommended and very very grateful!!!
Marshall did a great job with grooming my little Hund Beau. From the first second there was a welcoming communication with Marshall, so I could trust him with my Hund. On the day of my actual appointment there were some weather issues, but Marshall offered a reschedule without any problems. Marshall did an amazing job with Nellie, our mini schnauzer puppy. This was Nellie's first time with a groomer and she was a little nervous (I was nervous too). Marshall patiently sat with her and introduced her to his grooming tools before he started. He spent a lot of time making her feel comfortable and did not rush just so he could move on to another appointment. Nellie was happy and relaxed when I picked her up and she looked great. She's been getting lots of compliments. I highly recommend Marshall and Parker's Doghouse for a personal, low-stress grooming experience at a reasonable price. Thank you Marshall, we will be back!
If your dog needs grooming, reach out to Marshall asap! Our dog, Dr. Bruce Banner, was desperately in need of grooming to take care of a matted coat. Marshall took his time to make sure that he provided the most comfortable experience possible for Banner while making him look his best. He set up his grooming station in our bathroom and cleaned everything up when he was done. After, Banner's appointment Marshall reached out to check in to see if a touch up was needed and provided advice on what we can do to maintain his coat better in between groomings. We were happy to see how much Marshall cares about his clients. We have already recommended Marshall to other residents in our building and will definitely ask him to groom Banner again in a few months.
I met Marshall and Parker the second day after we brought our puppy home. We were having trouble with crate training and I was arguing with my partner over how best to handle the puppy. I was thinking maybe this puppy wasn't a good idea. Then I called Marshall. He came right over to our apartment, calmed my dog, and got him used to the crate. The dog loved him and listened to him! Our Morkie now loves him! He has given us great advice and help when we needed a puppy sitter. Marshall recently became a Groomer. He gave Lladro the best haircut! We will be going to him from now on. Our dog loves him and we love him!
I attempted to groom Lily at home and ended up with an uneven mess. Enter Marshall- he quickly responded to my call and fixed Lily up good as new right away! She looks adorable again and she won't be ashamed to walk in the street and see her friends, all thanks to Marshall.
We recently got a puppy home and couldn't groom her during quarantine. Took her to Marshall and she instantly loved him. He took his time and gave her attention. She looks so nice and clean and had an amazing first grooming session!
I found Marshall through Yelp and validated this finding through another client of my dog walker's. He responded promptly (within the day) via text/email and we were able to immediately get set up for an appointment after I sent him the information. He takes his time, especially with mats, to make sure that his fur clients don't suffer. Molly is always beautiful, but she's come out looking extra beautiful the two times that he groomed her! Marshall has also given me great tips on what tools to use to brush her and how to remove her mats without hurting her. He even sent me a video during the groom to demonstrate. Marshall did beautiful work on our puppy! He was gentle with him and slowly introduced him to new parts of the grooming process so he wouldn't be frightened. Obviously, I think our puppy is always a handsome boy - he came back the best he's ever looked. We're so thrilled. Can't recommend enough! Parker's doghouse is amazing! Marshall is meticulous and makes sure that our pup always comes back looking fresh and smelling fantastic. During my first visit, I really appreciated that Marshall voluntarily sent videos and pictures of each step of the grooming process. It really helped to put my dog parent nerves at ease. I found Parker's Doghouse by asking the owner of a beautifully groomed doodle in the dog park. Marshall did an outstanding job with Elmo. Elmo can be very nervous meeting people for the first time, but Marshall was so sweet and patient with him. Elmo came out looking like a fluffy cloud and smelling beautiful!! read more

I'd like to think I picked out and adopted the perfect dog, but once I tried to go at it alone to start obedience and training with my little Tamsen, it was not so easy. We met Marshall and Parker through word of mouth from owners at the dog park near our building, and I can say that he is our "dog whisperer" and has been a huge part of helping my little Tam become an obedient, well mannered, social, anxiety free and happ(ier) puppy, all at 5 MONTHS of age. We literally just had a lesson with Marshall and he said Tam had progressed so far -- I was the happiest dog mom EVER! :-) I'm a first time dog owner. I tried crate training Tamsen but many sleepless nights later, realized I needed A LOT of help. Marshall taught us how reinforcing the basics go a long way. He has also talked through issues I've had, answered any questions I could possible have about Tam, and has given us great advice/tips. Tamsen loves the time with Marshall and Parker. They make learning fun and productive. Marshall also GROOMS and pet sits my little one as I have business travel a few times a month and I am always at ease that Tamsen is in good hands. His methods have had a very positive impact on my pup (and my relationship with him). I can observe the vast difference between my little Tamsen and other pups out in the field who do not have the pleasure of working with and learning from Marshall and Parker. We look forward to many more lessons, training, tips, grooming, petsitting... the list goes on! read more

Marshall took the time to let Marvin acclimate to his surroundings before beginning the grooming process. He allows his own dog, Parker, to help create a welcoming and comfortable environment to put Marvin at ease. I don't even know where to start. I was so desperate for a grooming for turkey that I started to ask people in my building how the heck the dogs looked so good during covid!? One neighbor told me about Marshall ! Holy hell thank gd! Poor turkey was struggling and knotty. I felt terrible! He is a new man after Marshall! Thank you thank you thank you!
