This place was great! I was recommended this place at work. Once I stopped by I was wowed by how many options the menu had.. This made it hard to Decide because everything sounded so good! They had lots of good flavor combinations and simple desserts as well. Once I decided the shake I got was absolutely delicious! It tasted almost like a good old fashioned ice cream. I could see this place being nostalgic for some and would definitely recommend! The service was also remarkably kind. The workers made sure to that I was satisfied! Not to mention this place is so cute on the outside! It's definitely a place for a good time.

This is one of my favorite ice cream spots. I originally tried this chain in Dallas and don't have it back home in Houston, so I was excited to try it again! We got the banana split and the snow monster concrete and both were so smooth and creamy and delicious. The snow monster concrete was strawberries and chocolate chips blended throughout the ice cream cup (which was a solid quantity for the price considering the cup was tall). The banana split was a classic split, and the marshmallow crème is what MADE that dessert. The strawberry sauce, cherries, and strawberries combined with the bananas was 10/10. Would definitely get both again, but next time I want to try the items that are more chocolate fudge heavy. The service was pretty fast and efficient because there was a pretty long line when we went, and we got both our items within 3 minutes. I will say there is no storefront or seating "inside" because they take your order at the window and you just pick up your order and leave. The day we went was pretty chilly outside, so just make sure to take that into account if you visit.

Quick service frozen custard?? I'm there! From a variety of choices to get your fill, nothing will be the wrong choice! Unless you get a size way too big to finish your custard haha aka it happened to my husband anyways I enjoyed my small chocolate waffle jack. It was the perfect size to cool down from the San Antonio heat. My son had a strawberry mixed concoction and my husband got their peanut butter and enjoyed that. The one con I will say is that there is only outdoor seating, no indoor seating available so if you're getting custard you will be eating this out in the heat which means you will need to inhale your treat before it melts.... But overall, a great place for a treat! Also lots of parking!

Amazing milky shaved ice with great flavors. Super delicious but a bit overpriced . I payed 7$ for a tiger blood with ice cream on top

End the night after dinner in the rim at Andy's!! It's an order outside or drive through custard shop.We got the turtle banana spilt. It was everything and more! The pecans were perfectly toasted and the Carmel was amazing.

We wanted something sweet after some shopping and saw that Andy's was nearby. I got the build your own concrete with peanut butter cups and sprinkles and it was delicious! I thought I wasn't able to finish because even the small size was pretty huge but it was that good I ended up eating most of it! We went through the drive thru and we were all surprised how fast everything came out especially since we ordered like 4 items. Everyone else enjoyed their frozen custard as well :) definitely check this place out!

First time here! Wanted to try a new ice cream/soft serve place. Reminded me of DQ but better quality and creamy. I built my own chocolate soft serve with oreo and "in waffle cone." That was the disappointment... when you choose waffle cone, it doesn't come in it, they crush it and mix it into your cup. I'm surprised the guy didn't give us a heads up. Portion was good, I got a small and barely finished. It doesn't melt as fast which is nice but isn't like ice cream too. Something different. Wish I had a picture of my soft serve. Lastly, you sit inside. No indoor seatings. Or else use the drive thru.

Their ambiance is a walk up type of store front. There's seating throughout the outside of the building. There's a little playground for little ones. It's a lot of desserts for food plus drinks. The service is when you walk up to the window to place your order. It pretty fast and friendly. Highly recommend

Medium concrete with pecans and caramel

My fave go to spot for ice cream. The custard is truly creamy goodness. I add caramel and pecans to mine! Always quick and cheap.

There is a whole gap of inconsistency with quality from the midday to late night. The staff treats you as if you are a burden to them. $8 for a half ass made custard with poor attitude is not worth it. I've come a few times and made it an effort to stop due to the service and price but decided to treat myself for the pumpkin concrete and was extremely disappointed again with the custard not being mixed and the poor service by being greeted with "what do you want" and no further communication for payment but staring with a dead stare while holding the device towards me and didn't say if i was good to go and walked off. Here is what an $8 medium pumpkin concrete looks like

This was my first time to see or visit an Andy's! After this experience, it will not be the last. I had to drop some stuff off with my daughter while she was at work. The security at her place of business will not allow anyone to get into the secure parking garage. So she had to come out to meet me, and while putting the stuff in her car, she asked if I would like some ice cream? She said there was a new Andy's nearby and that she had been wanting to try out. She didn't have to twist my arm, I was an easy yes:-). This Andy's is in the Rim Shopping Center and was easy to get to. There was a lot of commotion going on around it, and we found that was driven by the #3 RCR race car piloted by Austin Dillion. We took a quick picture and then went to order. They had a BOGO going on, so we took that offer. Our treats were created quickly and handed to us. We both thought they were excellent, and mine was gone so fast. My daughter had to go back to work, so she took what was left of hers with her. Will I return? Definitely when in the area!

This shop sells fudge, truffles, candied apples, and - what I came for - ice cream! They had a lot of ice cream flavors to choose from, a least a couple dozen. The smiling young woman working behind the ice cream counter offered to give tastes, but I had already figured out which flavors I wanted. I chose two scoops in a cup, one of Cappucino Chip and the other Turtle Cheesecake. They have several tables to sit at, some along a hallway and more in a back room. I took a seat and was in awe of the huge scoops given. The Cappuccino Chip had a mild flavor (I prefer it stronger) but a fair number of tiny chocolate chips. The Turtle Cheesecake had an excellent cheesecake flavor with swirls of caramel, praline pecans, and caramel-filled mini turtles. I'm usually not fond of nuts in my ice cream but I actually enjoyed the pralines. In my humble opinion, there were too few turtles. But I still loved it. If you're in the mood for a cold, creamy treat while visiting the Alamo, you'll find this to be the perfect place to visit.

The real issue came at the cash register. The woman handling payments was, unfortunately, not kind at all. In fact, "rude" would be the most generous description. It actually took my wife about ten minutes just to complete the payment for a couple of ice creams, which felt longer than the ice cream itself took to melt. What made it even more uncomfortable was watching how she interacted with other employees. It wasn't just unprofessional--it was the kind of scene you'd expect in a low-budget psychological thriller where you start wondering if someone should call for backup. So while the ice cream itself and the front-line staff were great, the overall experience was overshadowed by the atmosphere at the register. Small, crowded, and unkind is not a combination that brings us back. We'll pass next time.
