Food is always hot and fresh. Service is surprisingly good. They have a pretty good military discount. That's always a huge plus for us.

Waiting in drive thru line for about 25 to finally get my order that was missing fries. Could see all the employees just standing around whole time I was at window. Went inside to ask for my fries and it was dead in there no reason for backup of cars in line. Got home and burger was missing basically everything just bread and meat supposed to be their new Dr Pepper burger

Sat in line at the drive through for 10 minutes and the line didn't move. Tried to go inside to order ice cream for the kids and the door was locked.

When you're waiting line at 9:20 at night for DQ!

Nearly 9:30 at night, we decided to make a trip to Dairy Queen. Yes. Nearly 9:30! So, The Granddaughter wants a Brownie Something, and we are going to get an old standard (and one we've resisted for a long time), the Banana Split Blizzard. Know this: If you arrive at the Boerne DQ at 9:20, you may, as we did, encounter a line of six or more cars in the drive-through. So we had to be patient as we waited. But patience has its rewards, and, as sure as you are going to look at photos, we got a delicious Blizzard; and the GD was happily satisfied, as well. So if you've got the urge, and you're ready to splurge - on your sugar, calories, lactose, fruit - whatever, Stop On By. I think you'll be pleased.

Not a lot of ice cream choices in Boerne. Unless you want to drive a little further DQ is a good option. It is consistent and well priced. We went for a butterscotch dipped cone and cotton candy blizzard. Two treats for less than $6. Not much more to say as everyone knows DQ and what to expect. The ice cream is always a good choice. Based on my food experience there as I am not a fan of fried food would lean closer to two stars.

Order is regularly incorrect and it always takes an extremely long time in the drive thru. We just avoid it now.

Beware The "Pastrami Reuben"…read more I saw that hundreds of people on Yelp had reviewed Cibolo Creek Brewing and overall ratings were over 4 stars. I should have done a bit more reading and looking at the pictures. We stopped in on a mid-afternoon Sunday in early June. First impression upon entering through the front door was confusion. It was not really clear what the process was to order and get a seat. We approached the bar area and then noticed the "order here and seat yourself" signs. Several people came in behind us and so we felt a bit rushed to order. There were several craft beers on tap, but I was told I could not get a flight at the moment. I was able to get a taster, but with all the people behind me waiting to order, I didn't feel I had time to find out more about the beers before committing to a 16oz pour or lose my place in line. Shame on me for not doing my homework. We tried "The BEST Burger" and the "Pastrami Reuben", both with fries and two beers for close to $60 plus tip. The burger wasn't the best. It was sort of "meh". The homemade fries were good. The so-called Reuben was closer to a brisket sandwich than an actual Reuben. The meat was very mesquite-wood-smokey and then appeared to have been fried on a grill (definitely not steamed). It was very chewy despite being thinly sliced and had NONE of the flavor good pastrami has. The menu claims the meat is tri-tip, but tri-tip is known to be a tender cut. The meat on that sandwich was NOT tender. Cibolo Creek Brewery is in a great location (which sort of explains the prices) right next to the Cibolo Creek Trail and River Road Park and they do have a nice covered outdoor seating area with large family-style picnic tables. I may return to sample a few more of their beers and see if there is something I like better on the menu.

Ok is truly the best way to rate this spot. The food was…read morejust ok, and given the high pricing for a burger & fries I expected to rate the food better than "it was ok." Staff was by no means rude or dismissive, but they also didn't exceed customer service expectations. What I ordered: The BEST Burger on Potato Roll ($18): 6 oz Wagyu and grass fed Beef from South Texas w/spring mix, pickled onions, & house mayo. Served with French fries.

What-an-Experience…read more If you're looking for a place where the food is slow to arrive and sometimes cold when it should be hot, the service is slow to nonexistent, and the manager's professional wardrobe could double as a "before" photo for a reality show makeover, then look no further than this particular Whataburger. Upon arrival, I was eventually greeted by a worker after waiting for about two minutes. While that sounds like no time at all, when waiting is an eternity. I finally placed my order for a regular number 14 but instead of mayo I wanted buffalo sauce. Now what is a 14 you ask? Let me tell you it is a plain chicken sandwich combo. Not a burger but chicken and a number 14 not a sandwich but a number 14 combo. The server took my order and asked if I wanted the buffalo sauce on my burger to which I said no because I am ordering a 14 chicken combo. Then I was asked if I wanted to make the combo a combo. Enter the wait and the longer wait and then my food was delivered straight to my table by a most unhelpful person who just dropped of my food and asked "want any ketchup?" Before I could answer he was walking away so I guess no? But wait - it gets better. A fellow customer, understandably upset about receiving a cold sandwich (again, they should be *hot*), asked for the manager. Enter the manager - not with a sense of urgency, professionalism, or even a basic "sorry" for the inconvenience. No, he arrived in filthy clothes and the kind of attitude that said, "Why are you bothering me on my break?" The look on his face was like he had better places to be, like napping on a couch or watching paint dry. Honestly, I felt bad for the other customer who just wanted a warm sandwich. But apparently, asking for a decent meal and a little decency in service is just too much to expect. I'll be taking my food cravings elsewhere. Somewhere with food that's at least lukewarm and a manager who knows how to dress and act like they care. The one positive out of this experience is that I had an unexpected visitor join me for dinner. Do better Boerne Whataburger.... Please do better and please take care of the bugs. I prefer to sometimes eat alone.
