The customer service is VERY BAD... the assistant manager named Cici is so rude!! Very disrespectful and seems like she's always in a bad mood every time I come in. Not only is she rude to the costumers but also to the young employees!! She's pushing 70 and acting like a mean teen girl!! I hope she fix her attitude soon!! read more

I honestly don't even know how this location has two and a half stars. One star is being generous. I've been here countless times.....why? Because once upon a time I went to some great Dairy Queen's. This unfortunately is not one of them. I order the same thing every time and it's never right. Do not even waste your time ordering the royal New York cheesecake blizzard. They are incapable of making it right. Just a bit sad that the staff here are not being trained adequately to make a simple ice cream really. If you're desperate for some Dairy Queen, then this place is for you. Just make sure you keep your expectations low and order something simple. read more

Horrible, Iv never been to Dairy Queen but went today. I ordered drive through, and they got my order wrong, which is fine mistakes happen. But the costumer service was horrific, I went to the window and they handed me my food. I let them know my order is wrong, and instead of fixing it, they acted shocked asked everyone why my order was put in wrong. They asked me 3 times what I actually wanted and finally just told me to wait a minute. I was already in drive through lane for 20 minutes, now waiting longer. I wait in my car on my phone, a girl walks up to my car doesn't knock or wave, just stands there until I noticed? I rolled down my window and apologized for not noticing and she scuffs saying "here". I ask about my drink because I hadn't received it. She asked in an extremely rude tone "what do you want?" She comes back and rolls her eyes as she leaves. read more

drove to the windows to order and the person on the intercom said "give me a minute.". we waited several minutes. Nothing. We tried again and "give me a minute" said louder this time. This went on two more times, each said louder and with more irritation. There were no cars in front of by the way. We drove away. read more

DQ in Boerne is my home. Every Wednesday we go there and the manager named Maldo does his best to serve us. Me and my friends go every Wednesday and we love connecting with the employees. Maldo makes the best ice cream, but i don't really know about the other employees because i don't think they like us. Nearly 9:30 at night, we decided to make a trip to Dairy Queen. Yes. Nearly 9:30! So, The Granddaughter wants a Brownie Something, and we are going to get an old standard (and one we've resisted for a long time), the Banana Split Blizzard. Know this: If you arrive at the Boerne DQ at 9:20, you may, as we did, encounter a line of six or more cars in the drive-through. So we had to be patient as we waited. But patience has its rewards, and, as sure as you are going to look at photos, we got a delicious Blizzard; and the GD was happily satisfied, as well. I love DQ, but this store is filthy As soon as you walk thru the doors, floors were dirty, glass doors were dirty, behind the counter where the nuts and fixins for the ice cream was messy and dirty, i didnt order food, thank god, just ice cream. So sad this is the only DQ for miles. Hire more people to clean up the mess read more

Not a lot of ice cream choices in Boerne. Unless you want to drive a little further DQ is a good option. It is consistent and well priced. We went for a butterscotch dipped cone and cotton candy blizzard. Two treats for less than $6. Not much more to say as everyone knows DQ and what to expect. The ice cream is always a good choice. Based on my food experience there as I am not a fan of fried food would lean closer to two stars. read more

Dairy Queen Boerne Location, let me get service over first, ok, its ā Dairy Queen, and Ambiance, Its A Dairy Queen. Now the food. We ordered a medium cone and a blizzard, the blizzard was off tasting is all i can say. The medium cone came out the window and as I handed it to a my friend I could tell something was up, it wasn't as heavy as a small cone recently purchased at the Bandera location. It did not melt, and the last I knew real ice cream melts. Not one ice cream head ache, real ice cream is cold. This must be that powdered crap and mixed wrong. This has got to be the worst DQ I have ever been to in terms of logistics of the event. Getting into & out of the store is like flying through a danger zone. I would have never embarked on that had I known what I know now. The entry of the drive through practically has tank traps on either side. For no real reason other than to try to destroy your vehicle. Then there are other barriers before you get there. Finally the lot is so destroyed with pot-holes, I thought I might be in a war zone. The ice cream treat I got was pretty good, but I seriously regret looking inside the place. Wow, the inside looked as rough & sketchy as the outside. Wouldn't do that again either! read more

Holy cow, what a dump this place is. Drive through line took 36 minutes for a # 1 & 2 kids meals. All 3 patties were pink and the buns rock hard. Fries tasted like they were cooked 2 weeks ago and microwaved. Best thing going for this dump was the Diet Coke and that was 90% ice. Will never return. read more

Quite possibly the worst DQ in the state. If this is the service and product you are rolling out, its time to close up shop. Ordering took forever, 3/4 of the tables were a mess, bathrooms needed severe TLC, we watched 5-8 groups of folks walk in, wait a tad and walk out. (Smart people) Food finally arrived and 3 out of 3 were made incorrectly. Paid for jalapeños, received none, asked for mayo, got mustard, cheese on 2 of the 3 burgers and nobody ordered any. Cheese tasted like it was years old. Buns all rock hard. Fries were cold/limp, no ketchup. Long lines and we had already waited 25+ minutes so no chance to have all remade. Ate half and trashed the rest. Place in dire need of serious overhaul, retraining or gas/match. Never again! Do yourself a favor and avoid this dumpster fire. read more

This Dairy Queen is the "fast food" restaurant I frequent most for lunch. I love their grilled chicken salad and grilled chicken sandwich. I can usually get in and out quickly, which is important on a lunch break. The staff is friendly and frequently gives me the senior discount without me having to ask. :) Of course, my daughters love the ice cream treats! It is always fun to see what their Blizzard of the Month will be. read more

We had been out and about all day. Not hungry but a little on the ' let's get something sweet' without having to drive into SA again. Wife, being the smart lady she is, suggested Dairy Queen drive thru. Perfect no hassle no fuss. Now I am not a fan of DQ food But the ice cream treats are a different story. We both got plain old chocolate malts rich ,freeze your brain, cold and so satisfying good. And the whipped cream and cherry waiting at the end. Yep it was good !! read more

I ordered a medium Moo-latte (coffee and ice cream blended with A LOT of ice apparently). I specifically requested no whipped cream and no chocolate syrup. When the girl read back the drink order and didn't mention the no whip cream and chocolate syrup part I re-iterated it again. I pulled up to the window and she asked what I was saying, so I said a THIRD time, no whipped cream and no syrup. When I got my drink there was syrup trails all down the side of the cup. Secondly, you had a "Now Hiring" sign on the window and a girl standing out on the corner begging for change. You don't have to have a doctorate's degree in Human Resources to see the opportunity there (especially if she can listen and do what she's told better than the people you currently have working there now). Surely she's not making $8/hour at the stop sign of one of the busiest but worst intersections in Boerne. And she would probably appreciate a good meal and/or air conditioning considering it was almost 95 degrees outside today. read more

My wife and I had been going here for lunch, dinner or dessert once a week at least, but today the staff at the window who served me was not wearing a mask, or gloves. Sad, selfish and short sighted. I won't go where I don't feel respected or valued as a customer. Don't need as much staff if customer traffic drops off. read more

Usually Dairy Queen has excellent burgers. Not so here! I struggled to finish even 1/4th of it. My wife had the foot long chili cheese dog. The chili was old and burnt - so we scraped off the chili and cheese and she ate the hot dog. So you decide if you want to waste your money here. read more

Today I was taking a good friend home and she decided to get a hamburger and I went for 2 chicken finger baskets we went through the drive in and try to place our orders, I was informed they could not take separate orders, too confusing,even when we were in the same car, we were told we had to go inside and order separate, I explain to the manager because I could not believe such dumb rule, she in turn told me those were corporate rules, so there! It explains why all your reviews are bad, I for one not coming back, most restaurants will do anything to help and keep their customers so they be successful, it won't be long, you may be closing your doors. read more

Very disappointed. We bought a Reese's Blizzard ice cream cake and it had almost ZERO Reese's ice cream blizzard in it! It was almost ALL plain vanilla icecream. Their Blizzard ice cream cakes cost more than their regular ice cream cakes. The photos online show their Blizzard cakes as having the top half of the cake with Reese's Blizzard ice cream, then a middle layer of cookie crumble, and then the bottom half is vanilla ice cream. Our cake had a thin, almost non-existent, layer of Reese blizzard ice cream on top- We could not even taste any Reese Blizzard flavor. The majority of the ice cream cake was plain vanilla. My wife ordered the Patty Melt which is a generous hamburger patty served with caramelized onions (nice and sweet), melted white American cheese and cheddar cheese, covered with their house made tangy Patty melt sauce all placed in between toasted sourdough bread. That sandwich was amazingly juicy, full of flavor and just downright really good! Probably one of the best two Patty Melts I've ever had! The sweet potato fries were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside with a great flavor! If my burger wasn't so good I'd have wished I ordered this instead of just having a bite. I ordered the Jalapeño Popper Burger and wow - great! A huge seasoned patty with cream cheese, jalapeños (grilled), bacon, an onion ring and a raspberry chipotle bbq sauce. That burger was perfect - the flavors were perfect together. The burger was juicy - it was really good. I had a side of onion rings and they were also great. The onions were dipped in buttermilk and then their house made batter and deep fried to perfection. Subtle flavor that worked well but wasn't overpowering. So - it's in the middle of a small town - attached to an ice house - and the food is exceptional! Highly recommend it!!

It was presented as though the chef opened a can and dumped. Too lazy to even make it LOOK presentable. We wouldn't have chosen this place as we had a disappointing experience when they first opened. Nothing has changed.
