If you're looking to get some steps in, running, and still feel secured in the neighborhood, this Park is a place to do it. It is also in close proximity to the shopping center in Baldwin Park. I really love all of the homes that surround this park is. Each is unique and beautiful in its own way. The park is well maintained for all types of activities such as baseball, volleyball, soccer like football and other outdoor activities. After a workout you can easily walk to the shopping center area and get a cup of coffee, glass of wine or some of the best sushi in Orlando.

It checks off all of boxes for me: walkable, nice scenery, public access to a variety of sporting activities, kid-friendly, pet-friendly, visual variety, open green spaces, occasional events, and easy parking. My wife and I go here regularly for walks with our baby but I've come plenty of times in the past to play basketball, go jogging, and play tennis. I haven't been able to play as many sports recently but love that the option is available there and that the area is fairly well kept by the city. One of my favorite things to do is grab a drink from a nearby spot, like coffee at Lineage or a snack from The Salty Donut, and go for a nice, long stroll around the park. It's always so nice to see people using the park and is at its best during the fall when the weather is gorgeous and Blue Jacket is full of people enjoying the public amenities. I love going to the occasional event at the park whether it's a local makers market, or the hot air balloon festival they have there each year. I've gone to a number of parks around town and other than Barnett Park, BJP is the next best in the area if you live near downtown. Lake Eola is third in my opinion. Worth the visit if you just want to stretch your legs and be off of your phone.

The Publix here is so amazing with a variety of cultural items and delicious baked goods. I love Baldwin perk for a cute friends themed brunch or quiet coffee and laptop morning after school drop off. The walks and bike ride trails are the best as I always feel safe no matter the time of day. There is a dog park as well for the pups located off lakemont and also a play ground for the kiddos. Blue jacket park is a hot area for local sport clubs and events like 5ks and wonderful for a quick hammock and book or field time. I would say picnic but there's way too many fire ants at blue jacket for that honey lol. But if you are looking to buy or rent a home in a beautiful community that you can ride golf carts or have things to do in walking or just want a nice place to go woosahhhh, this is it !

There's a brewery, a few nice restaurants, gators dockside, Five Guys, CVS, Publix and a Truist bank. Its own little community with plenty to do! It's nice to just walk around, or to grab a bite and shop. I usually come here for Publix, then go to Frosty Fox for a boba tea. They have some pretty nice events monthly, so keep an eye out for that!

I…read morecame out here over the weekend for a 5K, and I didn't really know what to expect at first but Harbor Park was so tranquil and had some great views during my run! There's a small rock that goes out to the lake so if you're not looking to take a stroll that's a great spot to relax and enjoy a nice view! If you're a walker or jogger which it seems like the majority of people there were, you've got a pretty good stretch of sidewalk and path to use where it doesn't make it feel like you're weaving through people to move forward. I didn't do a full loop, but it does look like there's a section back rowers the woods that is shaded nicely which is great for hot days! I'd love to come back here again on a quiet morning and take a stroll. The locals have it really good here!

The stump remains. There used to be an incredible piece of art carved into the tree. There are still other great trees remaining though. Lots of trees. One time I went there on a cool autumn morning and I thought I had passed into dog HEAVEN!!! The fancy dog rescue groups met up and there were tons of incredible dog breeds, especially the ones that look like big fluffy mops. I've been here numerous times, & this park means a lot to me. I have incredible memories. *Beware of the lake, there might be alligators. (I used to enjoy watching the sailboat lessons.) *Best if you wear boots. Last time I ended up with a bunch of dirt in my shoes. *I've only seen 2 dog fights. Stay close to your dog. *Once, I saw what appeared to be coyote fur on a fence, there might be one around there sometimes. The walking trails in the woods/forest part is really fun. A guy used to play his guitar in a center area. I like walking my dogs through the woods there. Sad when I see my dogs years later unable to walk like they previously could, or disoriented, lost in there. We sure did enjoy that park extensively. Bring dog shampoo & a towel if you want, the dog shower bench is free.

There are interesting and tasteful sculptures distributed among the well planned horticulture. I love this park. There are a couple of ancient Oak trees. I'm sad to see the native green anoles are being over run by the invasive brown anoles, but they are both cute. The perfect break if you're in town for a busy convention or meeting. If you're coming to visit the art museum, plan on an hour or so to stroll through this park.

I was expecting a higher percentage of manicured gardens and signage, but instead saw many toppled over swamp trees with shallow roots. We did feel safe there, not in sketchy area.

The playground is well situated and there are great, mature trees surrounding it, so finding shade isn't an issue. If you get hot though, there's a community pool right through the gates! I've been able to attend a few kids birthday parties inside the community room and appreciated that the rental comes with the use of many large rectangular tables and plenty of chairs. It also has great natural light from the windows and glass-paned doors- ideal for photos! I also appreciated that they have a kitchen attached to the room with storage space (for cartons and packaging), and a fridge/freezer. From what I've seen, the room can be made to fit many configurations for parties and gatherings. Overall, a great park and community area. Next time I have to try out the gym!

It's nestled in a little historic neighborhood just south of downtown, and we really enjoyed it. I appreciate that they have a dedicated smaller playground for younger kids ages 2-5 as well as one for older kids ages 5-12. The gated playground area was very toddler friendly and not too crowded on a Sunday afternoon. My son loves the swings and the slides. The park was clean and well-kept with plenty of shade from the oak trees. Parking was easy and free along the street. This park also has restrooms, picnic tables, tennis courts, and a baseball field. Adding this one into our regular park rotation!

We visited Delaney Park recently with our grandchildren. They had a great time. The playground is enormous and kept the children busy and active for a long time. The baseball fields, tennis courts, playground, fountain, and rest rooms all appeared to be well maintained. Lots of trees for shade as well as some picnic tables are scattered around the park.
