While it is a lively park and can get busy from time to time, especially on the days the run/walk clubs are there, it is usually a nice park to visit solo and enjoy the peace of the surroundings offered. There is more than enough open green space and a good amount of seating throughout the park. The park also maintains various courts/area for various sporting events like baseball, volleyball, soccer, and various other outdoor activities. As far as proximity to other areas, this park is also located a short distance from the shopping and food eateries in Baldwin Park. So, after enjoying a great workout or just strolling through the park, you can pop over to Baldwin Park for some food and beverages. The only challenge, at times, is parking. Parking in this area (in general) is just tricky; however, there is street parking throughout the neighborhood near the park as well as a designated parking lot for the park itself. However, you can also park throughout the Baldwin Park area and just walk to the park from there. Before I close this out, I've gone to numerous events in this park as well, so it is great for hosting various community events (of course, with the proper permits, etc.). All in all, Blue Jacket Park is really just a great park.

I can still use the swings at least! One of my favorite things to do here is to walk around the park though. It's great exercise! It used to be a Navy base long ago, with a ship for training! There's a brewery, a few nice restaurants, gators dockside, Five Guys, CVS, Publix and a Truist bank. Its own little community with plenty to do! It's nice to just walk around, or to grab a bite and shop. I usually come here for Publix, then go to Frosty Fox for a boba tea. They have some pretty nice events monthly, so keep an eye out for that!

It's on one side of Lake Baldwin, with the walking/biking path running right through it. It's got a great grassy area along the water with terraces that make it perfect for picnicking and enjoying the view. I usually see several types of birds while there and more than a few bunnies if the timing is right. There are several groups that use the docks for yoga sessions and other groups that meet here for the start of 5Ks and walking/run groups. The neighborhood also puts on fireworks shows for various holidays and also market stalls on certain days of the month. It's a true community space and serves as a gathering place for so many groups.

I…read morecame out here over the weekend for a 5K, and I didn't really know what to expect at first but Harbor Park was so tranquil and had some great views during my run! There's a small rock that goes out to the lake so if you're not looking to take a stroll that's a great spot to relax and enjoy a nice view! If you're a walker or jogger which it seems like the majority of people there were, you've got a pretty good stretch of sidewalk and path to use where it doesn't make it feel like you're weaving through people to move forward. I didn't do a full loop, but it does look like there's a section back rowers the woods that is shaded nicely which is great for hot days! I'd love to come back here again on a quiet morning and take a stroll. The locals have it really good here!

The stump remains. There used to be an incredible piece of art carved into the tree. There are still other great trees remaining though. Lots of trees. One time I went there on a cool autumn morning and I thought I had passed into dog HEAVEN!!! The fancy dog rescue groups met up and there were tons of incredible dog breeds, especially the ones that look like big fluffy mops. I've been here numerous times, & this park means a lot to me. I have incredible memories. *Beware of the lake, there might be alligators. (I used to enjoy watching the sailboat lessons.) *Best if you wear boots. Last time I ended up with a bunch of dirt in my shoes. *I've only seen 2 dog fights. Stay close to your dog. *Once, I saw what appeared to be coyote fur on a fence, there might be one around there sometimes. The walking trails in the woods/forest part is really fun. A guy used to play his guitar in a center area. I like walking my dogs through the woods there. Sad when I see my dogs years later unable to walk like they previously could, or disoriented, lost in there. We sure did enjoy that park extensively. Bring dog shampoo & a towel if you want, the dog shower bench is free.

In addition to growing citrus, Phelps sold lots to fellow Chicagoans and mentored Loring Chase and Oliver Chapman into turning this largely unsettled area into an upscale winter resort. Phelps, acting as a one-man chamber of commerce, provided the basis of the promotional materials used by Chase and Chapman who marketed Winter Park to wealthy northerners. This nearly six acre park, in Winter Park, provides both natural beauty and recreational opportunities. One of the nicest features of this park is the playground that was rebuilt in 2021 by Kompan Design with input from area residents. This playground was designed to improve physical, cognitive, creative, and social development while fostering imaginative play and friendships. Other park amenities include basketball courts, tennis courts, pavilions available for rental, restrooms, picnic tables, and outdoor fitness equipment. There are also two hardcourts for pickleball. This park is fully fenced for safety and is beautifully landscaped and it is close to downtown Winter Park where you can find shopping and dining options. This park is the perfect place for a morning stroll, a birthday party, play, or a picnic. Phelps Park appeals to all ages. Community Parks don't come much nicer than this one.

If you're coming to visit the art museum, plan on an hour or so to stroll through this park.

i had a great time walking around this garden located in winter park. there was a wedding…read morehappening, a family gathering elsewhere by the river, & the whole space was buzzing w/ summer energy. there is a whole area of the garden i have yet to explore but good thing is - it's free! i was a little lost on the map, it would have been nice to have a more clear distance gauge because some of the lines look like the trail is super long when in reality it's not and just the placement of buildings/parking too. i'll be back to conquer that map !! or maybe i'll stay a while and smell the roses.

5 Stars for a park, gym, pool, and community center in Baldwin Park that's useful for residents…read more I've been able to enjoy Enders Park with my nephews and niece- primarily the playground and the rentable community room. The playground is well situated and there are great, mature trees surrounding it, so finding shade isn't an issue. If you get hot though, there's a community pool right through the gates! I've been able to attend a few kids birthday parties inside the community room and appreciated that the rental comes with the use of many large rectangular tables and plenty of chairs. It also has great natural light from the windows and glass-paned doors- ideal for photos! I also appreciated that they have a kitchen attached to the room with storage space (for cartons and packaging), and a fridge/freezer. From what I've seen, the room can be made to fit many configurations for parties and gatherings. Overall, a great park and community area. Next time I have to try out the gym!
