These events fill quickly through their online events calendar form, so we were glad to have the opportunity to grab some spots. I was disappointed to see that not everyone who signed up attended because participation is so highly sought after. The event itself was nice and relaxing. We enjoyed the two hours of painting and hope to finish later with our own paints at home as it wasn't quite enough time to tackle the whole painting. This branch is not my favorite of the public library for a couple of reasons. 1) there is a lot of blank space in the library; it's not very cosy or inviting. 2) Parking is a BEAR. Until the city as a whole becomes more walkable/metro accessible, it's unreasonable to have a library with paid parking. It makes it much more difficult to choose to frequent this branch.

All accessible through then libby app on your phone/ipad and even your kindle This location 3/5- parking is very inconvenient although they have a couple spots for pickup. This is also a loud location and often has disruptions so not the best place to study or settle down. Other 5/5- the staff is phenomenal, so kind. I have used their notary services several times and they are so helpful. Make sure to call ahead for the notary!

The storefronts flip from quirky to arty and classic that keeps the walk interesting. Mini golf and bowling, too! Two unique things that make the Loop uniquely the Loop are the Planet Walk and the Saint Louis Walk of Fame. The Planet Walk is a scale model of the Solar System that stretches a half mile or so along Delmar mapping out the distances between the planets. And alongside this, the Walk of Fame runs along with stars honoring famous Saint Louisians (Saint Louisans?) set into the sidewalk. It's fun to spot names you know and names that are new to you. Chuck Berry. Maya Angelou. Tennessee Williams. Nelly. The Loop is named for the Loop Trolley. It launched in 2018, hit some operational and funding issues, and ended service in 2023. I'm bummed that I missed the opportunity to ride it. Maybe it returns one day? But even without the Trolley, the Loop is one long ribbon of activity. Located at 230 N Compton Avenue the Chaifetz Arena Parking Garage is great for events at the Arena…read more We used the GPS Map function on our iPhone which indicated that the garage was on the east side of the street when you cannot miss the multi-level building on the west side of the street. The garage is well lit and has well marked walkways. There are also directions to get to different streets and the Arena on the South Side. Walking to the Arena takes 5-10 minutes car door to door . The garage is fairly secure and is clean and well maintained. The garage is Cashless which is important. If you're sure you are going to go the online reservation went through Ticketmaster just like our concert tickets which was super convenient. The parking helped make for a great evening and gave us one less thing to be concerned about. Two Thumbs Up We will definitely use again!

Hosted a downtown STL event same evening as a Cardinals AND STL City Soccer AND a holiday weekend…read more Didn't want guests dressed to the nines searching for parking. Got quotes from a couple of folks and decided on MVP. The night of our event, we arrived and MVP was already set up with four or five guys. We had items to bring inside and the valet assisted us without hesitation. We even had a guest with a flat tire. MVP helped change the tire. Actually MVP didn't help, they changed it. At the end, because MVP was adequately staffed, there wasn't a lengthy wait to get your vehicle. We were very satisfied with MVP.

They worked very hard, very fast, and all with a great attitude. They arrived in plenty of time, and considering we had hundreds of guests arriving at once, things couldn't have went any smoother. Three stars only because I had to call three times before I could get someone to send me a quote. Each time the person would say they would send it as soon as we hung up, and they never did. I finally had to call back and be a little more aggressive. I'm assuming they want as much biz as possible, so why not just follow through? Definitely use Midwest for your valet needs!

If you are coming in quickly to pick something up, or if you come to sit and relax and work for a while, the environment is super calming and spacious. There are tables as well as comfy chairs and couches, making it welcome for everyone. The staff here is very helpful and have answers to any questions. There are always available spaces in the parking lot or nearby on the side streets. The Kingshighway location is super convenient to get to, and it's just a short walk away from Tower Grove Park, making for the perfect excuse to grab a new book and go sit outside for a while. The most recent time I came in, they had a featured section right in front of books for Women's History Month, which I love. They also have a rotating selection of "staff picks" as well as new releases and novels. I find myself wanting to branch out with something new every time I go in. The inventory is online and is updated often. There's an option to put items on hold and pick them up at your preferred location, making for a fast and easy in-and-out if you don't have time to walk around the library. I had a friend wait in the lobby for me to come down, and she told me he immediately questioned her as if she wasn't allowed to exist there. They did an amazing job to make you feel welcome and appreciated. The nachos were good, but not great. The chips and cheese were very good. The meat was okay, but something was off with the meat in my opinion. It wasn't bad. It might have been the texture for me. The jalapeños were great. The portion size was huge. The refillable soda was huge. I thought I was going to get a refill. I couldn't even finish my Mellow Yellow soda. The only disappointing part it was the last game of the season. I understand that this stadium is still pretty new (construction completed in 2022), but it is 100% the nicest sports stadium I have ever been to. There are plenty of parking lots around, and while they are a little pricey ($30-45), they are a short walk from the stadium and can be reserved ahead of time thru ParkMobile to ensure you get a spot. Even better, if you don't wanna pay that much, there is a ton of street parking available if you're willing to arrive an hour or two before a game. Before you even enter, there's a nice area right outside with vendors selling food, drinks, and merch. Typically, there's a "block party" where you can listen to live music, socialize, eat/drink, and play some fun games for small prizes. They also have a cornhole area out front creating even more activities you can dive into pre-game. Entry into the stadium is quick & seamless, though still secure. Thanks to the amazing staff, the stadium is incredibly clean and feels brand new. There are a TON of local vendors offering food & drinks, and although they're a bit pricey, I have yet to try something I don't like. Balkan Treat Box is obviously a staple and 10/10 while the Tito's bar near section 140 had yummy vodka slushies that I would definitely get again. There's also a handful of places that allow you to pre-order food and drinks through the app which helps cut down on the time spent waiting in line (the lines can get pretty long). There are a few lounges on the corners of the stadium that look really nice, though I haven't explored them quite yet. My only gripe with the stadium is that the bathrooms are sometimes a little hidden, even when following signs, so despite there being many bathrooms some of them can be difficult to find. The fans are what really make this experience unique, though. I'd never been to a sports game where 99% of the fans have team gear on until I went to Energizer Park to see CITY play. The fans are super passionate and will really get into the game (as they should). Do note that there is a standing area on the North side of the park with a bunch of die-hard fans constantly waving flags & pounding drums, so if you're not into that then you may want to avoid that section of the park. But when the game starts it's like you're transported to a different world as everyone comes together and cheers for CITY via chants, drums, & flags. Overall, Energizer Park offers an incredibly clean & fun experience that's welcoming even to non-soccer fans. I would highly recommend catching a game as you will not be disappointed!
