Anchor stores include Macy's, Von Maur, Dick's, and Barnes and Noble. A movie theater is a walk across the large parking lot. About 21 casual restaurants sell foods and beverages. I have shopped at this mall off and on for over 10 years. I shop mostly for women's clothing, foods, and gifts. During my most recent shopping trip, I felt happy with the condition of the mall and with the selection and prices of merchandise. Overall, I think that South Hills Village is one of the best malls in the Pittsburgh area.

Not a huge deal, but it would definitely be more convenient if that was the case. Back in the day, this plaza had a Giant Eagle and that might be the reason it has the large amount of parking that it does. Currently, there is a Mac Bid, Dollar Tree, beauty supply, hot tub and Ashley Furniture. The lots are fairly well maintained and marked and there are two entrances. Definitely not a destination shopping center, but great for anyone wishing to visit the small amount of stores that are in it.

For example, the discount store used to be a couple of different businesses that went out of business. The parking lot is very large and definitely has sufficient spaces for customers' vehicles. Overall, this shopping center is conveniently located for local residents who need particular products. I would not recommend this shopping center for people who are traveling from out of town or who need to purchase everyday necessities such as groceries and clothes.

This shopping center is nothing fancy, but it fulfills the needs of local residents just fine. I just cannot buy any clothing here.

As you can see, this mall does not contain any stores for clothing, shoes, and accessories, but I think that the current stores are very convenient for local residents who need other daily necessities.

This shopping center is near where I live. It is currently undergoing much renovations. Many…read morebusinesses have come and gone but it does have some perks going for it. Giant Eagle sits on the grounds of a former K-Mart. It is not an overly large store but provides for my weekly shopping needs. Directly across from it is a Getgo with a kiosk for small purchases and payments. Off to the corner is Ryan Automotive, home of Goodyear tires and car repairs. Some of the ongoing tenants include "eye guys" a vision store, Rite Aid, Gentry cleaners, Busy Beaver off to one corner, a bowling alley, three different banks, Save a lot grocery, and a great breakfast/lunch spot called Hanlon's cafe (reviewed separately). Hess Physical therapy stands in place of a former Payless shoe store. There is also a Dollar tree and a small gym called Wright's. Check out their website for complete store listing. There is plenty of parking spaces. Around the perimeter you will find Walgreen's, CVS, Crafton ice cream shop (open seasonally) and a post office. You are also close to both Crafton and Ingram Park and the adjoining West Bus way stop. There is a lot of turnover in this mall. It sometimes gets difficult to maneuver because to enter a particular store you need to walk the appropriate ramp. I like having three banks within the immediate vicinity and having convenience nearby. Since it is an old shopping center be aware of safety concerns. Hopefully the renovations once completed may attract more visitors to the community.

There is a Planet Fitness to get your sweat on and a Giant Eagle underneath it to grab a meal after. There is fast food like KFC, Long John Silvers, and Wendy's and also local eats like a Chinese restaurant and a Mediterranean spot. The Beer Minimum next to the Wine and Spirits makes party shopping so easy. If you want to get glam there are several hair salons, nail shops, and a beauty supply store. And a local tuxedo shop. The entertainment (Penn Hills Cinema) and clothing shops aren't the best, but it is convenient to have them. There is plenty of parking, but sometimes Pittsburghers make up their own driving rules... right in front of the DMV. There is very little this plaza doesn't have, but a coffee shop would be a great addition.

Several storefronts appeared to be vacant and awaiting new tenants. I visited this mall because I saw a Dollar Tree. Lots of parking spaces were available in the lot. This Dollar Tree did not contain as many products as do other locations of Dollar Tree, but I still found some products to buy, and prices were low.
