Banksville Plaza is a small strip mall. Current businesses include Kuhn's grocery store, Supercuts,…read moreStarbucks, Subway, PNC Bank, H&R Block, T-Mobile, a nail salon, and a couple of other small businesses. The only businesses that I consider visiting are the PNC for the ATM if necessary and the Kuhn's for snacks if necessary. Otherwise, I drive to other retail centers for easier access to and a greater selection of products and services. As other reviewers have already commented, the parking lot is small, and it can be challenging to pull in and out of spaces. Furthermore, this mall is right next to Banksville Road, which often has very busy traffic. I have not experienced major problems with other vehicles, but I can understand how other customers do.

Why only one star? The traffic patterns are horrendous. Accidents happen on a more than normal…read morebasis. Cars fly by to get an empty parking space, not stopping if you're backing out of your space. And God forbid if you're trying to get to a store and someone is trying to get to an open space, they'll run you down! Why? Kuhn's, old people love to shop at Kuhn's. You know the type, if it's an old man driving, all you see is the hat, and if it's an old lady all you see is her hands at the ten and two position on the steering wheel. And God love them, they only know one speed, EMPTY SPOT NEAR KUHN'S!!! GUN IT MARTHA! Seriously, the parking lot is bad, but not a bad strip mall. Starbucks, Namaste, PNC Bank, Subway, Whiskey Hollow Grill, Kohli's Indian Market, Super Cuts, Radio Shack and H&R Block are also located here.

It is really fascinating how much this place has transformed from even just ten years ago. When I…read morefirst moved to Pittsburgh, there was basically not much there and now it is packed from end to end with a huge variety of businesses. There is a huge parking lot (paid) behind the entire building and there are metered spaces in the front. They often host events like outdoor fitness classes, farmers markets and car shows. It really is amazing that you could mini golf, get a facial, drink wine or beer, eat delicious food, shop for books or grab a coffee all within a small area. There are several cut through areas which make it more manageable to get to your desired location from the parking lot. The biggest downside to me is that I wish there were more local businesses. While there is nothing wrong with chains, the Strip is such an important part of Pittsburgh's history that I wish it contained more independent businesses and restaurants and less chains.

Shake Shack is also located here. Novo Asian Food Hall is also part of The Terminal as is City Winery. There are also fitness studios, a bookstore, jeweler, and more. Aslin Beer Co. is also at The Terminal. Lots of new places being added. Some of us were resistant to these changes but it seems yinzers and tourists alike are finding love or at least likability for this relatively new space.
