Her competency, knowledge, and approach of service was mind-blowing. This is hard to find in any customer service genre. Esther was attentive, honest, and altruistic in helping people of all stripes. You don't find help like this ANYWHERE in this day and age. And the laundry mat itself was spotless, spacey, and workable. The coin exchange, unlike others, was easy to understand and operable. This place worked out well. I'd recommend coming during the day if possible--it's much less busy. At night, especially near closing, some homeless individuals tend to gather, and once the doors are locked, you can't re-enter. The machines were decent overall, but it's a good idea to check for leftover detergent residue from previous users. One convenient feature is that you don't need coins--you can pay by card (which I realized after the fact!). All in all, it got the job done and my clothes came out clean.

Even after I told her several times I wasn't drying those clothes she continued - mind you they close at 9:00 pm - so if I wanted to wash & dry I would've had enough time to do both. She obviously knew she was doing something she is NOT allowed to do to customers & thought that by giving a fake name I wouldn't find out! A coin machine makes change... and you'll need a LOT of coins. Which brings me to my next point... HOW DO PEOPLE AFFORD TO GO TO A LAUNDROMAT?!?! No offense but this place seems like it's in a lower income, primarily Spanish speaking community. Washers are $3.00, $4.00 and $7.00 depending on the size and dryers are .25/5 minutes. So for me to do only 4 days worth of clothes for a family of 5, we're already talking $10. And half of those were "washed" at the shitty hotel washer so add in another $4 if I needed to do 2 loads of wash here and now we're looking at $14. Yowza. At home we're doing laundry nearly daily... so yes, not sure how people afford a laundromat and this will be our only stop here.

I had to take it to a proper tailor to fix the damage, and they were shocked at how badly it was handled. Not only did it still fit poorly, but so many things were done incorrectly. It ended up costing far more than I'd planned. They might be fine for dry cleaning, but absolutely do not trust them with alterations if you care about the outcome.

I had an accident that required that my suit be cleaned and given back to me that same day and the folks at Eleganza Cleaners were more than happy to help. They charged me $39.00 for the clean and $15.60 (40%) for the expedited service; they were upfront about the added cost for said expedited service. The base cost of the clean is a little higher than what you might find at other cleaners, but I think the quality of work you receive well justifies the price. As for the quality of work: it was excellent (see the before and after pictures). The only thing I might note is that there is a strange scent inside the store that, at least for me, is slightly off-putting. The scent does stick to your garment, however, it quickly goes away after use and likely is a result of the cleaning agents that are used (which, by the way, according to the owner, are all natural, environmentally friendly, and of higher quality than what you might find at other locations). Anyway, I received great service, quality, and will be bringing all my dry cleaning needs to this company from now on.

In addition to the dry cleaning I have also used the alterations service and everything was excellent. Most recently, I took in some Nike tennis shorts that were practically new. They were all identical except for the color but, for some reason, every pair had a faulty zipper that needed to be replaced. It was cheaper to get new zippers rather than replace the shorts at $70 a pop. As usual, it was an excellent job, however, I was blown away that not only did they replace the zippers but they matched all the varying colors perfectly. I had even said not to worry about matching the colors because you can't see the zipper and some of the colors were not easy to match. It took a little more time but going the extra mile was totally worth it!
