Located down on south OBT, it's surrounded by the typical seedy joints but it could be much worse as there are much worse areas of this city. The staff here is super friendly and the folks doing laundry are hard working people getting their laundry done and taking life day by day. Same as everyone else.. Therefore, if you are in need of a coin operated laundromat that is super clean with a really nice staff and has quality machines that won't break the bank - Thomas Laundromat is your next stop! We had a pile of laundry, and I found it delightful that The Laundry Service does have a pickup and delivery service. It's super easy to place an order on the webpage, and there is tight coordination around their text messaging and pickup/dropoff of clothes. It's important to note that this service is a bit expensive. Prices start at $50, and that's the minimum. We spent about $65 for sheets, a few towels and a load of laundry. Overall, we didn't feel it was a bad deal. Our clothes were folded neatly and tightly--and they smelled great. The reason for 4 stars is that the wait for the laundry to be returned (pickup in Thursday and dropoff on Monday) was a bit slower than desired. I'd love to see that sped up a bit. Finally, I've never been to the location itself so can't speak to it. The other reviews here seem to have that topic covered.

They immediately and arranged to pick up our laundry at our home the same day. They were able to handle over 200 pounds of laundry and return it to us perfectly folded and completely clean by the next afternoon. I had an accident that required that my suit be cleaned and given back to me that same day and the folks at Eleganza Cleaners were more than happy to help. They charged me $39.00 for the clean and $15.60 (40%) for the expedited service; they were upfront about the added cost for said expedited service. The base cost of the clean is a little higher than what you might find at other cleaners, but I think the quality of work you receive well justifies the price. As for the quality of work: it was excellent (see the before and after pictures). The only thing I might note is that there is a strange scent inside the store that, at least for me, is slightly off-putting. The scent does stick to your garment, however, it quickly goes away after use and likely is a result of the cleaning agents that are used (which, by the way, according to the owner, are all natural, environmentally friendly, and of higher quality than what you might find at other locations). Anyway, I received great service, quality, and will be bringing all my dry cleaning needs to this company from now on.

I dropped off my clothing and got a call from them a day later saying that they put a hole in one…read moreof my polo shirts by accident. I went to pick up the rest of my clothing and there it was, a big gaping hole in the front center of my shirt. They didn't apologize or anything, and to make matters worse they were about to charge me for the shirt! I asked the woman behind the counter if she was about to charge me for the shirt and she said she had to call the owner, who was in the back. The owner came out and thankfully he took off the charge for the shirt but didn't say anything about making things right, after they destroyed a $150 silk polo shirt. Will never use these people again, and will make sure everyone I know and even don't know hears about this.
