A friend of mine who lives nowhere near Moorpark told me about this place, and it has now become a regular on the takeout rotation. We like it THAT much. We probably order from Parkway Kebab every week and a half, and we pretty much get the same thing... chicken kebab over rice, an order of falafel, hummus, and I usually add a Greek salad. Everything is delicious. Meat is tender, as is the rice. Salad ingredients are ultra fresh. The hummus and falafel are seasoned really well, and I love the garlic sauce that comes with the chicken. Plus, we always get two meals out of our order !! Moorpark is moving up in the culinary world. They're getting... and keeping a nice assortment of ethnic restaurants around, which is great cuz we live really close, and Simi Valley still hasn't figured any of this out. read more

We got the fried chicken wing appetizer, and parkway platter The fried chicken was perfect. I love whatever batter they're using. Crispy, juicy, and well seasoned. This was even better than I couldve imagined. The platter was phenomenal as well. It truly was a feast! All of the meats were tender and bursting with flavor. The chicken is marinated all the way through and you barely had to chew it. Steak was juicy and the ground beef was incredible. I loved the sauce it came with . This is a 10/10. Came here for family dinner tonight and what a great choice! We tried a little everything tonight. We started with the Dip trio (Hummus, Tzatziki, and Baba Ghanoush) and some hot pita bread. I enjoyed all of them, but really liked the Baba Ghanoush. We ordered the Beef Shish kebab, Chicken Soltani, Beef Kebab Koobideh and Grilled Salmon. Let me say that the chicken skewer was so juicy, tender, and flavorful. Probably the best I've had. Both beef koobideh and shish kebab were so flavorful and cooked perfectly. All the dishes were served with either rice or salad, or both for a little extra. Very good portions and fairly priced! The staff were so friendly and helpful. There were ample seating inside and a few tables outside. The restaurant is kept clean and tidy. Decor was was simple and elegant. I can't wait to come back to have more delicious food. Ohh my god! I love mediterranean food and this is by far my favorite I have had! The hummus is a creamiest and most tasty hummus I ever tried. And the falafel's are so crispy and flavorful. The staff are all kind and helpful and the family meal is so big enough to feed. I would say five even though it says up to three all the meat was tender and flavorful and perfectly cooked the rice with buttery and delicious. I will absolutely be back. read more

Parkway Kebab & Grill has become my favorite Iranian / Middle Eastern restaurants in the 805 and Moorpark is so lucky to have them! I'd honestly come more often if I lived closer but regardless this stop is worth the trek. My friend and I came in for lunch today and were feeling like a "girls lunch" - which is when you order a bunch of appetizers to split and then catch up for two hours :) And Parkway is the perfect spot to dine in and relax. The atmosphere is very welcoming here. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and I love that they have cozy booths against the wall. The staff and owner are extremely friendly here and hospitable. The owner is regularly here named Iman and he's a lovely person. Very attentive towards the customers to make sure that they are happy and satisfied with their meal. I also appreciate that he helps educate you on the menu and any questions you may have. He helped suggested some of his more popular plates and we ordered those. I have to add that I think the pricing is very reasonable for what you get here and for the larger portion sizes. They don't skimp here and the plates are generous. My friend and I were impressed that we had a table full of appetizers and two soft drinks for under $50. And we even had leftovers to take home, a great value for the quality and quantity. Now to the most important part....the food. All of our appetizers today were delicious and solid. We devoured each plate and couldn't stop raving about each dish. The dip trio was the perfect way to sample their dips and their fresh, warm pita bread makes this an addicting starter. The home run dishes though were the falafel plate and fried chicken wings. Shoutout to my yelp friend Imo who told me to come for the wings. These chicken wings are now up there in my ranking of some of the best chicken wings I've had in the 805. They are a no-sauce wing, perfectly crispy and fried, juicy, to die for delicious. I'd come back again just for this app. Also the falafel appetizer plate is another must order dish. Their falafel is super crispy but perfectly cooked on the inside. Very flavorful and the dipping sauces that come on the plate are outstanding. My friend and I noted we'd order everything again it was so good and will bring back more friends and family to try their larger kabob plates and rice dishes. We simply had the loveliest meal here today. It was affordable, tasty, and the hospitality here is unmatched. If you haven't been here you definitely need to give this spot a try. For less than $15, you could get a delicious bowl of food! Beef Koobideh Bowl - The beef was SO delicious. It was tender, juicy, and so flavorful. Probably one of the best Koobideh that I have ever had. Wish that they gave a bit more of the beef since it was pretty carb heavy. My Persian friend said that it was weird they gave hummus and salad since Persian people don't eat their kebabs like that. Overall, I personally loved the food here. My girlfriend works at M6 Consulting and they get this place every Christmas. Yesterday she said I have to try it so thought why not. WELL!!! This is by far the best middle eastern food I have ever had... I have been to Egypt I have been to Iran I have been to Morocco and Lebanon and hands down absolutely HANDS down the best middle eastern food I have had is here. WOW!!!! I've been looking for a place like this since I was last at one in Orange County in the late 1980s!!! Parkway Kebab did not disappoint. I kid you not, this was one of the best meals I've had in years.....and it was just the lunch special!!!!! I wish I took a picture of my plate, it was beautiful but I was so excited seeing it I dove in right away. I got the beef kebab lunch special and it just melted in my mouth. The most tender meat I've ever had equaling one of those expensive steak houses. I spoke to Iman, the owner/ manager (?) and told him that it was the best. This place is definitely going into my rotation and I can't wait to take others there to dine. I've already spread the word when I got back to work. Thank you Iman for a FANTASTIC dining experience. Located in a strip mall and the interior is a bit run down but that is it for the negatives. The people working there are nice and the food really surprised us. The chicken breast kabob was super juicy and I'm always worried about chicken breast being dry. We also had beef koobideh kabobs and they were great. The humus was good, not spectacular. The cost was approximately $60 for two dinners and a side of hummus. Not bad these days. My daughter took me to the Parkway Kebab and Grill in Moorpark for Mother's Day. We Both ordered the Salmon Kebab and I got the sour cherry rice. It was so delicious and such a large portion. When we left we were already talking about going back again which we did just 4 days later. We shared one plate and added a side if grilled veggies. Again, we were so happy with our meal. Sharing a plate was absolutely enough food. The place is pretty and everyone there is so nice. I cannot recommend thus resturant highly enough. Was craving Persian food and didn't feel like driving out to our usual spot in Tarzana. So I thought we would give this place a try. Didn't know it was soft opening so it makes sense that they didn't have everything just yet (I asked for Persian tea). No problem. The establishment was super CLEAN!! Yes it could be that it's still new but the cleanliness and bright lighting was very welcoming. I even appreciated the clean (and spotless) silverware! The service was great. Food came out quickly and hot. Garlic Bread (pita): very fragrant as they used butter and real garlic. Pita was soft and fresh. Chicken wings: nice seasoning!! The dipping sauce was tasty (mayo based) Beef Shish Kebob: needs more seasoning in the meat but rice was delicious, grilled jalapeños were not as hot as I would like, the grilled tomato was good. You also have the option to add a side salad for $2.99 Shish kebob with Koobideh: same as above, needs more seasoning in the meat but the cook on the Koobideh was really nice. I asked for hot sauce thinking he would give me Tapatio but instead got this delicious herb mix that is similar to a cilantro lime dip (had a good kick!). The owner came over to greet us, asked for our honest opinion. We suggested more seasoning to the meat but otherwise everything was really nice. He seemed appreciative of our honesty. He even explained that he would normally marinate the meat longer but he was trying something different this time (I think he will go back to his usual technique). Love that this is so close to us and will definitely come back. Not too shabby for a soft opening. I do hope others will give it a try and support the local businesses. Wow! I was craving some mediterranean food so I tried Parkway Kebab and Grille for the first time. That was the best mediterranean food I've had in a very, very long time! I had enough for 2 meals.
