    Cajun Penne Pasta
    Jessica S.

Wow what a find! We went here for a friends bday dinner and loved it!!! We ended up sitting outside and it was beautiful!!! I had the Cajun chicken pasta and still dream about it. And don't get me started on the truffle fries.... Chefs kiss. I also enjoyed one of their mocktails and it was really well made. The only thing I'd say is we sat for a while before a server came to take care of us. Not sure if it was super busy inside or somewhere but our server was super nice... just took a while to get things like silverware and our check. But I will be back and plan to bring friends!

Can't tell you how many times I've been by Frankie's thing. I gotta try this place tonight was night and I was not disappointed For March, it was early to eat outside, but it was great. Service is fantastic and the food was delicious.

Frankie's Chicken Parm with possibly canned tomato sauce.

We've had Frankie's Pizza before and have always loved it -- especially when it's well done. The pizza is delicious and definitely one of our favorites in the area. Our waitress was excellent -- friendly, attentive, and very professional. Unfortunately, the chicken parm was disappointing this time. It was burnt, and the sauce tasted like plain tomato sauce straight from a can with just a few tiny pieces of parsley on top. Also, the owner came out eating a slice of pizza while bringing our food, which felt a bit unprofessional. It also wasn't very nice that they only agreed to take the chicken parm off the bill if we returned it to the kitchen. Mistakes happen, but that approach didn't leave the best impression. As an Italian from Rhode Island and a big-time foodie who manufactures my own homemade pasta sauce, I really appreciate authentic, well-made Italian food -- so this experience fell short of expectations. We'll absolutely return for the pizza, but we'll pass on the chicken parm next time.

Every piece slid all toppings off due to the frozen ingredients used on the pie. Crust was so soggy

Traveling through Spring Hill and stayed next door at Best Western. Went to Frankie's for a quick bite after traveling all day. Ordered a pizza because the hostess said it only takes 15-20 minutes and it's absolutely deliciou, so I took her word. HUGE MISTAKE! 40 minutes later my "pizza" came and I use that term loosely. Zero fresh ingredients. All jar veggies, Hormel style pepperonI, mushrooms were dried to the form of jerky, banana peppers were not dried prior to cooking so entire pizza was a wet napkin. The crust was so wet I couldn't pick up a piece without every single topping sliding off. Would rate this pie with negative numbers. Only plus was sitting in the nice dining room area for a long time. DO NOT GO HERE EXPECTING A DECENT PIE

    Gemelli Bolognese

Good, simple, local, Italian restaurant with large portions, full bar, and short wine list, in a bright clean bistro setting, with good service, a paper napkin place. The Gemelli Bolognese was good, but with ground meat and fusilli that over powered the gravy. The Fettuccini Alfredo with chicken was very good, the chicken perfectly done.

Spaghetti Pomodoro????? This is a joke!!!
    Will L.

Spaghetti Pomodoro is nothing more than Chef Boyardee canned sauce. Not good and no effort at all. Do Better!!

I ordered the Goudafather on cauliflower crust with extra mushrooms and drizzled with their pesto sauce!! Best!

Fast service and the pizza was great. The crust was crispy yet chewy, and plenty of toppings. My favorite pizza spot in town!

Went in for lunch with my mother in law. She had the spaghetti. She wasn't a fan of the sausage but the salad and sauce was a thumbs up.

I only sat and ate a meal that I ordered during the dinner hours. I invite you to stop on in and check it out! It's a great place for friends and family alike, especially the children, during the daylight hours. Have an awesome time, family!

We went early and snagged seats at the bar to kick things off with cocktails, which turned out to be a great move. The bar staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the experience feel welcoming right away. I started with an Old Fashioned made with Sazerac Rye--excellent. Smooth, well-balanced. In the summer months, the outdoor seating is a great option too. Once seated at our table, we dove into appetizers. There were four of us, so sharing was the name of the game. The White Truffle Garlic Bread was a standout--warm, aromatic, and downright addictive. We also ordered the Italian Meatballs (two per order), so naturally we got two orders. Big flavor, perfectly cooked, and definitely worth it. Add in the Wild Shrimp Scampi and the Calamari--both cooked just right--and we were off to a strong start. For my entrée, I went with the Ricotta Cavatelli. It was rich and comforting with just a subtle hint of lemon. I usually lean toward spicy dishes, so this was a departure for me, but as a crab lover, I really enjoyed it. That said, if you're looking for heat, this isn't the dish for you. We also had the Sunday Night Lasagna...on a Wednesday. Rules are meant to be broken. It was hearty, flavorful, and absolutely delivered. Dessert was a must--and North Italia did not disappoint. The Tiramisu is non-negotiable. The Salted Caramel Budino was so good. The Hazelnut Torta? Fantastic. And the Salted Caramel Gelato--just get it. Trust me. Last but definitely not least, our server Matt was amazing. Great personality, attentive without hovering, and really added to an already excellent experience. North Italia delivers great food, a fun atmosphere, and top-notch service. A place I'd happily return to again and again.

Our server was great but the management really needs to get servers better aprons. I looked around and most servers had holes in their waist aprons and they were really dirty. Also one of the dishes was so hot, the server was covering her hand with her sleeve to place the dish on the table?! It was odd that her sleeve was inside our dish bowl - very odd. The food itself - was okay. We had the Shrimp Scampi and Beef Carpaccio which was good. Arugula and Avocado salad was nice. We had the Ricotta Cavatelli dish with shrimp and crab, it was tasty. Drink wise, had the Neapolitan. Love dirty martinis and thought it would be similar - nope, it was okay. All in all, it was a decent meal but for the price it was just okay. Also be prepared that flies love to come in when they open up the large door for the patio.

My only complaint is the sausage add was a little sad. The pizza had so much flavor, especially that rich, garlicky taste that tasted real and fresh, not like fake powdered garlic. You can really tell the difference. The sausage was flavorful, the pizza came out hot and fresh, and everything worked together perfectly. Here's a little secret if you didn't already know. The owner is related to Joey, who used to own Joey's House of Pizza in Nashville, which makes a lot of sense because the pizza had that same delicious quality. I love Joey's house pizza and the owner is Joey's daughter! If you are around definitely a spot worth trying if you love a well-made pizza. They have subs, desserts, pasta you name it! The people was fast and super friendly when we picked up our pizza even though it was close to closing time.
