Naked chicken wings and a side salad.
    Barry S.

We are back, and our first time under the new owners. We LOVED it! To start, our server Ali was AMAZING! Very friendly, knows her stuff, and kept us hydrated :) It was around 8pm on a Tuesday, and overcast, so not too crowded thankfully. We sat inside because of the chill, but could still hear the live music -- whoever the girl was sounded incredible! The menu is updated and looks like a mix of some of the old items and new ones. We split the fried hog snapper (with street corn and coleslaw as our sides), and then got a side salad as well. First, for just $5 their side salad was big and not just a pile of lettuce -- it's got onions, carrots, cucumbers and radish's. Plenty for both of us. Then the fish -- wow! 3 large pieces of amazing looking and tasting snapper! Again, plenty for us to share. The coleslaw was fresh and tasty, loved the pineapple in it. And the street corn was delicious! It's off the cob, creamy, and has a slight kick to it, but not too much (I don't like spicy and this was good). We were very satisfied with the meal, and skipped the pie... but got ice cream from the little shop attached at the front. Let me tell you, Dominic and Damian were a blast! They are twins and so personable and friendly, and were generous with samples and the scope we got. Tons of unique flavors -- think cold stone but pre-mixed... oatmeal cream pie, salted caramel, birthday cake, banana cream pie, and more! Definitely leave room for a stop here, it was delicious!!! And if you happen to go when these two are working, tell them the guy from FCA at Tarpon High sent you

As most of you know, the Palm Pavilion Beachside Bar and Grill became Crabby's Beachside...And with the menu completely revamped, I needed to know if that burger improved. The verdict? It's a major improvement; it's not the best burger I've ever had, but it sure as hell is juicy and far more appetizing. The patty, the fries, everything...It still is lacking in cheese whenever I ask for it, however. While I feel like it can be better, hey, it's a fantastic start given the way the patty is done and the new fries they're using are a major upgrade...Whatever they're doing in the kitchen, I applaud the new chefs and "Connie" for introducing this new recipe! The service and ambience is as good as it was under Palm Pavilion's ownership. But I think that much is obvious...I still think they need more bartenders serving at once, especially given how insanely huge this bar is. Either way, it still maintains that classic beach shack feel that Palm Pavilion did, which I respect. I've only had one item thus far, but I have this feeling Crabby's Beachside Pavilion is gonna breathe new life into this place. I'm still thinking about this burger!

Tourist trap. Great view, amazing server. Awful food and worse drinks. I had the blackened fish of the day which was nothing special with sides of black beans which tasted odd and the Mexican street corn which was more like velveeta cheese with corn and a dusting of cotija. I also had a mojito that tasted like straight rum with zero mint or sweetness to it. The only reason I'd come back is for a canned beer and the view.

This place is really cool! Sits right on the beach. Can sit inside or out in the deck or even In the sand. Foods good and the services was good as well. I recommend!

Returnee from back when it had different ownership. As always the view is beautiful love the location. The service is perfect so many people around to check on you. Moving on to the food I believe it isn't as good as it was before but it's still decent. I think the price increased a little but that's not a big deal. Overall it's a nice sit down and eat place with others. We got a table instantly even tho the place was packed. Like it here a lot just not as good before management changed.

What a treat to eat and drink at Palm Pavilion while we were in Clearwater last month. Especially since it's still family owned. We enjoyed drinks at the bar while we waited for our table. Awesome vibe and view looking out at the sandy beach and ocean. Our table was on the patio and we enjoyed at yummy lunch. The peel and eat shrimp was a highlight. Everything else was good. The local brews were a nice treat for me as well.

We stumbled upon this place and I must say ... we got lucky!! The food was spot on and the drinks were priced so well!! I had the chicken salad (the one with chili lime - vinaigrette and black bean corn salsa) I added the mango salsa to it (from their mahi mahi dish) AND OMG!! THE MOST REFRESHING SALAD!! SO BOMB! I would come back just for this salad! My partner had the chicken tacos! He cleared his plate in mins so I'm assuming they were good too! Our server was so attentive and made sure I ordered her fav - the salad which did not disappoint:D the fact that the beach is right there is awesome!! We had a beautiful sunset!!

Always consistently good food. So glad to see them back after the hurricanes from 2024...such a devastating time yet they've bounced back and are as goo as ever!! Huge outside area w several tables and interior with ample seating as well. Great service from TQ and despite how busy they were our food was out super fast!!

My grandparents used to stay at the palm pavilion inn years ago so when I was going to Clearwater for the day I knew I would have to stop by here for lunch. Such a classic spot, right on the beach and it's good to see that they have bounced back after the hurricane damage. There was nice live music just simple guitar in the background, and it was a beautiful day to eat out on the patio. I got a grouper sandwich and while it wasn't the best sandwich I've ever had, it was solid. The fries are amazing though! Our server was nice and although he accidentally charged us for an extra drink, he quickly corrected it. Palm Pavilion will always be nostalgic to me and I hope it is successful for years to come!

    Blackened grouper sandwich

My hubby and I loved The Palm Pavilion so we weren't sure about Crabby's. We loved it. We love. The changes to the exterior; the beach seating and entrance are great. The experience, food and service still great. We ordered the crabbby fries for an appetizer...delish! I had the blackened grouper sandwich (loved the tartar sauce) hubby got the grilled shrimp over creamy street corn...was sooo good! We're so happy our spot is still what we were hoping to experience! Highly recommend! Drinks were great too!

Food was decent, staff was rude. Get that it's busy but the young girl with long black hair working the front was incredibly snappy and hostile when I was asking questions and a waitress Catalina I asked if she was our server also was rude. It immediately soured the beginning of our experience at Palm Pavilion. Food was good - esp enjoyed the Florida Shrimp & Crab Chowder and the blackened grouper was good and we enjoyed the mango avocado salsa that came with the grilled mahi mahi. The scallops weren't that fresh and the Caesar salad was unremarkable. The Palm Runner cocktail was good but the Key Lime Colada was too sugary. Beautiful view of beach and great music though and our server Avión was great and friendly (thank goodness.)

The entrance. Absolutely beautiful place and vibe with the live music playing.

Nice place, waitress was very nice and recommended really good choices. The sunset was beautiful. The live music was very chill

Great food! Good service! A great place for a beautiful sunset! A long standing staple on Clearwater Beach! Love the grouper tacos. You can choose your side. I choose chips & guacamole. The grouper tacos have been a long-standing food item that everybody knows & has been to the Palm Pavilion, that this is one of their best dishes! I was so happy they opened back up after the hurricanes last year! I have a photo of my dad standing in front of this place when he was 14 years old! He was born in 1943! Wow! It originally opened in 1926! I always feel so blessed going here as many of my family members have dined here & the legacy still continues! The food is fantastic! Fresh, wonderful & absolutely delicious! Most afternoons have live music and breath taking sunsets! It is a definite MUST GO for anyone coming to the area.

Beachside Bowl was full of cold rice and a tiny piece of fish. Crabby's isn't known for good food or good drinks...just the setting.

They do not take reservations. They are super busy at sunset. Brunch time is typically not over the top busy.

What is the parking situation? Looking for a place to eat, drink & beach all without moving car?

Hi, yes there is a public parking right in front. Unfortunately you have to pay:( most areas around Clearwater beach is like that. It is worth it ! The restuarant is on a beautiful sandy beach. Try to get there early for a spot.

What makes this place unique? They offered Caymus Cabernet BY THE GLASS, which I have not found before, and I frequent higher end restaurants often. It was fun to have a high-end glass of wine without spending hundreds on a bottle. It's also nice if you want to try other drinks. The espresso martini (get it with Baileys added for a smoother taste!) is huge and delicious. Brussel sprouts appetizer and feta whip appetizer were both tasty and ample for two people. The spicy fish tacos are Mahi Mahi and a MUST if you like Mahi. I will only eat Mahi if close to the ocean, and it was great. No fishy taste, nice and tender. The brownie dessert that was off-menu was perfect for a sweet bite. So many nice restaurants get too crazy with their specialty desserts, and sometimes you just want a simple yet decadent treat like a brownie! Make a reservation on their website and relax. It's an easy Uber ride if staying locally as well.
