Another habit I didn't need. I can't remember where I heard about Parlor Dougnuts, but I'd put it on my list of places to try. I was going to be out in Wentzville for the Renaissance Festival, so that worked out. These aren't your typical cake or yeast donuts, they're "layered". Like a croissant. They're light and flaky and extremely tasty. Service is fast and friendly. Most people seem to order to go, but they have tables so you can devour on site if you can't wait to get home and don't want to eat in your vehicle. If you tell them you're dining in they'll give you a plate. There is a Coffee Shop / Cafe aesthetic here with a bit of a Donut Joint / Bakery vibe. Ordered a breakfast biscuit sandwich that was hot and delicious and came out very quickly. The restaurant itself is clean and bright. very responsive wait staff behind the counter. The donuts look amazing and come in such interesting flavors. Hubby's eyes got very big as he took his first bite. "So delicious it should be illegal" was his comment on the maple bacon one. I've been wanting to try this place since it opened, but it's always super busy. Well this evening we finally stopped in.It was close to closing time so they only had a limited selection. We decided on the Sandy Beach, Cookies& Cream, Honey Glazed, Coconut Cream, Lemon, Salted Caramel all were so delicious. These donuts are delicious! This new location just opened up recently so we waited a bit before going to avoid some of the crowds and long wait times - we ended up coming around 6 am on a Friday and had no wait time at all! We got in immediately and didn't feel rushed by the staff at all. There were so many donut options (including gluten free and keto) it was almost impossible to choose just 6 donuts! They have a light and airy texture but also dense at the same time. The menu also has a number of coffee, milkshakes, and hot food items that we will definitely be back to try. Might just be the best doughnuts I've ever eaten! Very light and airy like a pastry with delicious toppings; I had the Bourbon Caramel and Chocolate. Staff was very friendly, polite and offered good recommendations. This will be the only place I buy doughnuts from now on in Wentzville! read more

Not your ordinary donuts. First time checking out Parlor Donuts & I'd definitely give it 2 thumbs way up. The service was great, the line moved quickly, and decor of a vintage military/tattoo parlor goes hand in hand.The Iced Coffee was delicious ( Mocha Mayan) a little hesitant on the price of the donuts, but after the toppings added with the multiple layers of that oh so sweet donut come together as Guy Fieri would say welcome to flavor Town. I stopped by on Sunday to treat the kiddos. The line was out the door which was funny to me with all the posts I've seen on Nextdoor with people complaining about prices I was hoping there would be no line! I've been to a Parlor in Nashville before so I know how amazing their donuts are. These did not disappoint, and I'd like to mention they have vegan and gluten friendly options for the allergy crowd! I decided to try the breakfast tacos, which I have to say are amazing! It's been awhile since I've had breakfast tacos in San Antonio so maybe I'm just craving them but I highly recommend them. Don't let the line out the door fool you, within minutes, my kids were happily covered in donuts and I had a delicious cold brew coffee to drink while I waited for my tacos. Service was awesome, and friendly. I saw in another review that they don't answer the phone...probably because they are SUPER busy! Ridonkulously good. Layered donut deliciousness. Somebody laid out some serious dough and brought 2 dozen for us at work. Ain't no donut better and I look like I've eaten a lot of donuts. The best hands down. They have pawlor donuts for dogs so we will do that next time we go and bring the cute little butt sniffer with us. I asked about price and ingredients today. This place is a goldmine if the owners don't mess it up. Saturday, January 13th at 10:30 am my wife and I went and were totally underwhelmed. First the food tasted old although I know it's not. Tables were dirty and after we ordered guy and gal on duty were too busy on their phones to clean up. Small thing, but they were out of milk! Tried to give this new place a shot this morning and make a large order for our companies staff to try to support the new local place. They lack basic communication of answering the phone for their customers and it isn't even possible to place an online order when their ordering system is always down. The service was great and the donuts are good but for me they are a little too expensive. Tried the French Toast, Strawberry shortcake, and the turtle cheesecake, all were good but the turtle cheesecake was the only one for me that was excellent. Our first experience was positive and the donuts were delicious. These aren't the typical donuts you grew up eating. These donuts are unique and flavorful.
