I messaged Igor on Yelp a few days before we closed on our house to see if he would be able to come out to our house the day we got our keys so he could rekey our doors. He was super accommodating and told me to let him know when we were finally allowed in our house and he would come over. Fast forward to the day we closed, he stopped by at 4:30 pm and was extremely friendly and attentive to our needs. He had to rekey 5 doors in total in an almost 100-year old house. Not an easy thing to do! He was at our home for about 3 hours working away and we were grateful for his service and for allowing us to feel safe in our new home right away. As new homeowners who just dropped a lot of money during closing, we were a little sticker shocked at the total cost, but he was well worth it and he put in a LOT of time and effort re-keying our doors...so we expected to pay a little over $300 anyways. If you are a new homeowner and need to get your doors re-keyed OR if you just are looking for a friendly, reliable locksmith in the area, look no further than Igor. Although there was an issue with the item we needed versus what we discussed, the appointment was successful by replacing the item needed with other items needed. The only reason they aren't getting 5 stars is because they didn't confirm my identity (via ID card, etc) before starting the service. I would have thought that was a must-do. It felt a little too easy to have my lock opened. Aside for that potential security miss, the service took less than 5 minutes and I was able to pay with a card. I got an automated reciept immediately to my email. Now, the price..... Since it was an emergency call, the service cost me $102.60 ($95 for the call plus 8% tax).
