Zip lines, bouncing things, etc. Maybe it is AMAZING to kids younger than 8??? As parents, we liked that it was enclosed. (No kids running off or getting taken.) We liked that the ground cover was turf and rubber. (We hate messy mulch.) there were a number of picnic tables outside of the fence so parents could sit out there AND they were the perfect spot for a picnic lunch. This playground is right next to the Greece town splash pad. We bounced back and forth a few times between the splash pad and playground. We definitely would recommend.

So if your kid gets tired of one, they can walk to another one. There are plenty of fields to run around on, fly kites, etc. Seems like there's always some children's baseball going on there. There's also a relatively new and well maintained basketball (4 hoops) and tennis courts (2). A good place to host a child's birthday part. I believe there is some indoor space that can be rented (lodge/ pavilion).

Castaways is visible from the park. There is ample parking, with a lot on each side of the street, as well as a lane designated for it in the street. Nice, new landscaping featuring mostly flowering varieties of shrubs (hydrangea, Spirea, Viburnums, etc.) There are benches galore for folks to look out at the lake and contemplate. The bay side features a boardwalk that can accommodate the docking of several boats. The lake side features a playground for the kiddos, a shaded area, as well as some Adirondack chairs. Some folks bring their own chaise loungers or folding chairs to enjoy the weather and sights. Lots of folks are reading under trees (mostly large cottonwoods), there are a few bikes going by, but there are mostly pedestrians. There are a couple of unisex bathrooms featuring Dyson hand dryers. Today is a Saturday in July 2024, the temp is 80°F, with 50% humidity and clear skies, and I'm surprised that there aren't way more folks here. They might be watching the Olympics, as they just started today. Their loss...

(So sad) Jack's Place is such an awesome playground! The recommended age range is 5-12. There are so many neat aspects of it including some unique spinning "rides", numerous slides, swings, lots of places to climb and a rubberized digging zone. There are a few benches around for the adults. Our kiddos had so much fun here! Highly recommend!

Plenty of field and a couple of picnic tables. I don't recommend eating there based on our experience yesterday. We were invaded by what looked like fruit flies times 1,000. It literally rained bugs on us at the picnic table within one minute of sitting down so we booked it out of there and ate down the street another playground before returning. There are a few different activities for the kids, some the same as the location in Penfield such as the sand pit (here it's rubber), the big standup spinner, and the signature dinosaurs. Plenty to keep the kids happy. My kids loved it here!

It's the perfect size that if you bring your family, they can roam and you'll be able to keep and eye on them. The playground is nice. There are grills, and picnic tables, plus enough shade to stay cool. Set up canjam, play frisbee, or even throw together a game of kickball if you have enough people (the park has a baseball field). It's basically the size of one block, but never too crowded. It's tucked in a quiet part of the South Wedge and we always have a great time. A great spot to have a cookout with friends, relax, and enjoy some cold brews under the summer sun.

Don't go here in the winter.
