Discovered this food truck driving by. It was always packed with many people in line. You'll see the truck parked in a car wash parking lot. Can't miss it!! You can take order Togo or enjoy it there! Chill vibes! Everything we tried so far was good especially the Al pastor tacos and must have the alhambre!! It's soo good! Love that they have a salsa bar! Although the line is long, it goes by quick !

Very mid food. Burrito was just pure rice and barley any meat. Not sanitary place at all they handle money and food without gloves. They also get mad if you take more than 2 sauce cups.

Taste is great. Authentic and fresh. Pricing isn't great considering that it's street food with no seating and in a really smelly area - $11 for a burrito and $2.25 per taco- these are priced similar to sit down hole in the wall joints. I want to give them more point- truly I do but I just can't in good conscience. I have seen way too many things happen here that should shut it down if the health department saw over the past 5 times I've been here in the last month. Yes, we love it that much but after what I saw the last time I just can't bring myself to go back anymore. However, I realize this is kind of expected when you're ordering street food so I won't knock it too much. Just know that this is not the cleanest food- expect some dirt and bacteria to be mixed into your food. But they don't try too hard to even hide it so you can see for yourself.

really really good pastor, self serve salsa and toppings, fair prices 2.50 per taco and 2 dollars for a coke. i see some other reviewers mentioning that its too pricy, but my meal was authentic, delicious, and filling for only $9.50. you cant even get a big mac combo at mcdonalds for $9.50 and this helps support a local business. i also see a review that they don't speak english but i ordered in english with no problem. they know enough to get your order done and they were nice about the language barrier. even if they didn't speak english, how hard is it to acclimate to that and use google translate? how hard is it to say "tres tacos al pastor por favor" geez people

Quesadilla

The lady taking my order was very rude. Felt very unwelcoming. I ordered a quesadilla and it was absolutely disgusting. It was drenched in so much oil and soggy. First and last time coming here!

Got food poisoning here. Tacos are expensive as well. Paid $2.83 per taco. I only got two tacos and I'm literally dying

Review #1,082 Posted on 7.8.26…read more We stopped in here for a late night burrito & quesadilla on Sunday night the 5th after driving up from the Bay prior & getting checked into our room. This spot is located in a small strip mall shortly off the freeway on La Palma Ave in Anaheim. The food was really good, I was impressed with the meat portions in our burritos & quesadilla. There was a ton of meat. Both the red & green salsas were hot but still edible too. The rice & beans were quality as well. Highly recommend hitting this local spot up as they stay open late, and serve quality food.

I asked for their Birria tacos, the lady said this location doesn't have the Birria menu. Which is weird because other Yelpers posting a pic of their menu and it's their Birria menu. But alright. I proceeded to order and asked for their street tacos. She didn't tell me this is a cash only location also. So I went to go pick up/pay and when I go in to pay the man says, "cash only." I offered debit card, tap, Zelle. Nope. Cash only. Sucks they don't tell you over the phone. It's not advertised online either. I don't know what it is about this location. But imma keep my business at the Whittier location where they're friendly, offer their Birria menu, and other ways to pay.

Whether she's cleaning tables, bringing water to customers, delivering food, greeting people as they walk in, or checking to make sure everyone has what they need, she's always working hard. The restaurant is always spotless, which says a lot about how much the staff cares about providing a great experience. The food is absolutely delicious, we always order the tacos, and they never disappoint. The fresh aguas frescas are also amazing, especially the strawberry (agua de fresa) and guava (agua de guayaba). Maria's positive attitude and outstanding customer service make every visit even better. It's clear that she truly cares about the customers and takes pride in her work. Employees like Maria are a big reason we keep coming back. Thank you for always providing such exceptional service!

I think there's less seating here than their Anaheim location. This location doesn't have alcohol (or is it just beers?). There's TV's around the room to watch sports on. Papa loka is very yummy. The potato was surprisingly moist considering I've never had a moist baked potato before. The cholo pizza is the best thing I've tried here. We had it with chicken and it was The tamarind agua fresca was so so yummy. I feel like they do get adjustments wrong but they'll fix it if you let them know. Definitely not stopping me from coming back for some cholo pizza and agua fresca.

I usually have enough leftovers to take home and have for lunch the next day. Parking is a bit sparse, but there's residential spots available next door and within walking distance (as well as my favorite romance bookstore, Heartbound Bookshop). All their dishes are made to order, so please have some grace and be patient with their kitchen. As I always say, you can't rush perfection!

The agua de melón was delicious, and the side of beans was excellent. We also ordered a plain quesadilla, and it was surprisingly really good. The menudo itself was just okay--not bad, but nothing special. The reason I'm giving 2 stars isn't because the staff were rude, but they definitely weren't friendly or welcoming. My biggest concern, however, was what I witnessed with the condiments. When you order menudo, they bring a plate with limes, onions, and chili. I watched two employees clear tables, throw away some items, but keep the unused onions and uncut lime wedges from customers' plates and take them back into the kitchen to be served again. Even if I didn't use all of the onions or limes, that doesn't mean I didn't touch them. Reusing food that has already been on a customer's table is unsanitary and unacceptable. After seeing that, it made me wonder whether other items, like leftover chips, might also be reused. Whether or not that's the case, what I witnessed was enough to make me lose confidence in their food handling practices. Unfortunately, I won't be returning

I used to work here years ago so I know how much care goes into the food & drinks. The Puesto Perfect Margarita is still my favorite margarita I've ever had. Everything is made fresh & you can absolutely taste the difference. I always order mine with a sugar rim. It's consistently refreshing, balanced & incredibly smooth. We stopped by on a Monday around 4:30 p.m. just before happy hour ended. It was nice & relaxed when we arrived. It only started getting a little busier as we were leaving. We took advantage of happy hour & ordered a few favorites. The potato taquitos have been one of my go-to menu items for years & are just as delicious as I remembered. Crispy on the outside, flavorful inside & served over a generous bed of fresh guacamole that makes every bite even better. We also tried one of the newer happy hour items the short rib mini burrito served with a green sauce. Both my husband & I really enjoyed it. The short rib was tender & the sauce added the perfect amount of brightness. I was happily snacking on the chips with the molcajete salsa. It's one of my favorite restaurant salsas. I also love the chips with Puesto Perfect guacamole. It makes it hard to stop eating. Since it was my birthday I treated myself to a Tropical Candy Shot. If you like bold flavors definitely order one. It reminded me of a Mexican street candy in shot form with a Tajín rim & a pineapple garnish. It was festive, flavorful & the perfect birthday treat. The sweetest surprise of the evening was the complimentary birthday dessert. A slice of pistachio tres leches cake. I love tres leches but I've never had a pistachio version before. It was incredibly moist & rich without being too heavy. The pistachios added the perfect crunch & nutty flavor. It was one of the highlights of the meal. One small detail I always appreciate is that they bring a pitcher of water to the table. This makes it easy to refill your glass throughout the meal without waiting. It's a thoughtful touch that makes the dining experience feel more comfortable. I'm so glad we came back after not visiting for quite a while. I love the consistently amazing margaritas, delicious happy hour menu, & warm hospitality. The thoughtful birthday surprise made it even better. It was a wonderful way to celebrate. I'll definitely be back! If you're visiting for the first time do yourself a favor & order the Puesto Perfect Margarita & potato taquitos. Also save room for the pistachio tres leches if it's available.

Doubling stacking deals was a big brain idea, I'll admit. I originally discovered Puesto through the Crazy, Wild Taco Night event I attended earlier this year, and it's nice to know that their restaurant offerings maintain their quality even outside of the competition setting. We ordered chips and salsa, esquite, non-alcoholic passion fruit margarita mocktails, filet mignon tacos, surf and turf tacos, and a grilled shrimp taco. I think I would skip the grilled shrimp taco next time, but the other two tacos were great and the 50% off price point made them even tastier. Our host and server were both very friendly, and we enjoyed the meal. Free self parking is available for two hours with validation from the restaurant.
