This directly contradicted what was communicated to dispatch and raised serious concerns about proper handling procedures. When I contacted the company to address the issue, the manager responded in an unprofessional manner. He became hostile, raised his voice, and refused to provide his name when requested. This behavior is unacceptable and does not meet basic standards of customer service or accountability. I am requesting that this incident be formally investigated. I would also like clarification on the company's towing procedures and assurance that drivers are following proper protocols to avoid potential vehicle damage. A complaint has already been filed with AAA, and I will be pursuing this further through consumer protection channels if necessary. They harangued me the entire time, for example called CHP and made me wait in the 100 degree weather to verify the official document I gave them (even CHP said why are you calling?), and told CHP I was an "ornery customer" because I called in advance to get the cost to receive my vehicle from impound since their card machines don't work and I needed to pick up cash. Of course, when we get there they say it's an extra $100. They counted the cash four times before placing it through a bill verifier- they were extremely suspicious that I didn't have the full amount or that I was using fake money for no reason. The car is registered in my name but my sister drives it and they refused to let her come verify the inventory of what was in the car for "security reasons", so she was in the hot sun outside the gate for an hour while they hemmed and hawed and questioned me over and over. I had to sign documents verifying all the belongings were in the car even though it's not my daily driver and I didn't know what was in there, so they could've stolen something and I wouldn't be able to do anything about it since I had to sign those documents to be able to leave. They wouldn't even let me text photos to my sister waiting 30 yards away. At one point a white man came in while I was being helped and didn't have to wait for anything, didn't have a call to CHP to verify his document, didn't have to have his cash verified four separate times, and wasn't questioned on anything, so maybe they're just racists. They shouldn't even have jobs. Wish I could give 0 stars.

Make sure it's a truly local one. Loyal is headquartered in San Diego with locations throughout the state so their system is unreliable.
