Well, something changed. Last time we were here, the pepperoni pizza was so greasy, we used our stack of napkins to sop up the mess. The crispy pizza was saggy and greasy. Service was ok, but not amazing. It took about 15 minutes just to place the drink order and another 15 to get drinks. Fast forward a couple of weeks. Sunday, not super busy but steady. Placed an order to go. 2 pepperoni pizzas crispy, salads, breadsticks. Pizza was absolutely incinerated. Sad because I didn't know until I got home and everyone was disappointed. Salads were good. Breadsticks were fine. Totally missed the mark on the pizza. Maybe the cooks need to be schooled up on what crispy vs. cremated is. For a Sunday, the atmosphere was fairly quiet and relaxing. Went during lunch hour, there was about 3 people sitting at the bar and 2 booths was occupied. I stand there for someone to seat me. I was not greeted and stood there for about 5 mins while the lady fills up the beer pitcher and toss out or something behind the bar. I should have left after standing there for a while waiting to be seated. I got my check few mins right after I ordered my pizza which I thought was odd. Usually they give it to you when you are almost done. I paid cash for my tab and never got any change back, or asked if the rest of the cash was a tip. Three of us popped in for lunch one day during the week. They have a nice selection for their lunch menu. Two of us had extra to bring home. We all ordered calzones. I liked the sauce. Sauce makes the pizza for me. My son had wings as his side and my husband and I had the salad. The decor is fun. It seems like there is ample seating. They were not too busy. This was a plus as our server was a one man show. He was seating folks, taking orders and delivering food for the whole place that day. They had a really nice tap list. We got pizza and boneless wings as take out this week. Ordering was easy and the food was prepared on time. The pizza was tasty, great thin crust, flavorful sauce, but we were pretty disappointed by the lack of mushrooms (you can see in the pic) especially because we paid the extra money to add it as a topping. The boneless wings were small. Flavor was great with these as well, but each wing was barely a bite size, some half bite sized. Stopped in while on a business trip. It's a nice looking place that seems to be pretty new. Very bright and clean. They've got a pretty good menu, mainly bar food. I ordered the slices roast beef. It came with fries as a side. It seemed a little over cooked and very salty; but not too bad. The bun was fresh and the fries were pretty good. Little update: don't order carry out. Incredibly slow. They told me 15-20 minutes and it took 40. Food was cold and wrong. It was a side salad and boneless wings. Shouldn't be that hard. Final chapter: while the review stands, I want to add that the manager of this branch reached out to me and was gracious about the issues. Pizza is thin crust and the air blows so cold and harsh on the tables, you're lucky if you get through a whole slice while it's still warm. 5/5- beer selection. 68 taps and some good variety! 5/5- service. Attentive staff. 3/5- ambiance. It's frigid in this place and the music selection is horrendous. The overhead table lights are at the exact height to blind you the entire time you're eating. So excited that Parry's in Arvada is open! Went in for their grand opening and had a great experience! Brett and Chris were our bartenders. They were very attentive and made sure our drinks were always full. Very clean restaurant with music playing and a nice covered patio if you wanna enjoy being outside. The staff was sharp and attentive, much appreciated. My date and I ordered their $28 dollar pizza and I must say, I am a professional chef, restaurant owner....blah, blah, blah..I notice everything. I went to wash my hands and came back to my date who is the finest creature to ever grace God's green earth, who is made from the highest of moral fiber, a true gift to this planet and a redheaded Queen, adored by all women high and low, and I noticed boxed products in the hallway. Inside was pre-made pizza sauce, I know what that means....the sauce is shipped in and has a tin taste and such was our pizza....blah! They heated it, spread it on our half assed pizza crust, topped it then sent it to me and my would be bride. Me, never one to complain on the first date but what's happening with this establishment is that there are no real cooks or chefs in the back, there are only mere food assemblers...so that takes the luster out of things, right? Parry's Pizzeria's only saving grace was the salad, a dinner salad. It was fresh, crunchy and oh so flavorful...restaurants need to get with the program. This was the worst experience ever. We waited for 30 minutes (After being told its a 15 minute wait) to be seated. Once seated it took 20 minutes before the waiter appeared. Took another 15 minutes to get our drinks. We ordered are food (mac and cheese, cheese pizza well done and a house salad). Took 45 minutes before we received our food, the pizza was not well done and it was cold. Our salad bowl had tomatoes stains dried on the rim. A family that sat down 20 minutes after us received there food before us. When the manager came out, he didnt event say sorry to us for our service. We didnt eat anything, just got up and left. Trying a new pizza place with family, on my brief visit through Colorado. This very modern sports bar/tap house, has lots of flat screen TV's for your viewing pleasure. They also have a large family friendly dining area with booth seating for groups of all sizes. The service by our waitress "Ana" rates a Five Star Shout out! Her attentive and friendly personality made our dining experience a most enjoyable one! My overall Four Star review was mainly due to the lack of EXTRA Cheese on the large pizza; pepperoni, Italian sausage, mushrooms and black olives. The pizza thin crust was very good and the sparse toppings very tasty. I'm used to more toppings and love cheese! The "cheesy bread" appetizer pizza had more cheese than the large NY style pizza that I ordered with extra cheese! Next time I think adding toppings to the cheesy bread pizza is the way to go! If fact, the cheesy bread pizza with side of Mariana sauce disappeared before I could snap a photo of it! The Two Large "Baked Meatballs" smothered in Mariana Sauce & parmigiana, Magnificent! Probably one of the best spicy Alfredo's I've ever had! Lots of flavor and a great touch of heat. The chicken sandwich was great too! We also got the knickerbocker cheese bread and the crust was perfect, it had the perfect amount of cheese and the marinara served was flavorful. Lastly, the margs are great! The cheese bread was well cooked and seasoned. Marinara side was very hot and flavorful. Perfect pairing for the cheese bread! They serve an awesome side salad as well!! Tons of toppings, their seasoned parm blend, and on a plate big enough where all the stuff falls off the plate when you fork a bite! I love that! They have calzones and pizza on their happy hour menu for under $11!!!! You can't beat that! The SoHo veggie pizza had a ton of veggies on it. The crust was crispy and well cooked. Perfect amount of flop so that you could eat it traditionally or go with the fold. The calzone was huge and packed with Buffalo chicken and hot melted cheese! I had a card for a free signature pizza, so we wanted to try this place. I met the Manager. Super nice guy! He was on the floor the entire time, checking on his customers and bringing food to tables from the kitchen. I appreciate a "Hands on" Manager. The pizza was delicious, but NY style pizza shouldn't flop. We ordered the Signature meat but wanted half cheese. The wife didn't want meat on hers. She ordered the house salad for $5.00. When we got the check, it came out to $11 something (See photo). I went ahead a paid and left a tip for the full amount. I asked on the way out the door what the extra $5.00 was? Waitress couldn't figure it out at first but then said you split the toppings, so there's a charge for that. I did not know nor was told this when I ordered. My response was, you left half the toppings in the kitchen, yet I am being charged $5.00 more? I didn't want to quibble over $5 bucks, so I said okay and we left. Bottom line is, it's the principal. Why the nickel and diming your guests? I'm still scratching my head on that one. P.S. Music is too loud in this place. Not sure why either. read more

Wonderful food and overall great staff. However: came here on Father's Day: hostess=wonderful server = wonderful. Getting up to leave, server with dread locks chose to literally shove past (physically pushing) my father holding my infant child without a word. Took it upon myself to say "so sorry, excuse us" with which the server chose to stand by us as we left expressing annoyance and otherwise absurd language under her breath as we passed by. Asked to speak to a manager about the occurrence but obviously they were busy. Called back and spoke with Heaven, who stated "they were getting complaints about said server all day" and offered us an 18" pizza for free if we stated she gave us the offer. Overall, I love this place. Our service the management were trying and that's all that matters. However the above server and her interactions and customer service, or lack there of, is disgraceful and needs to be addressed. Embarrassing for the company. We love your food. Really disappointed in our first experience with Parry's tonight. We ordered a pizza for delivery with half jalapeños, and it came with the whole pizza covered in jalapeños. I have a pregnant wife and a two-year-old so this did not end well. Of course I picked the jalapeños off but the juices already seeped through most of the pizza. The slices made my wife feel nauseous and my toddler said " my mouth hurts" when she ate it. When I called Parry's the person I spoke to on the phone did not give a crap, barely apologized and told me to call DoorDash even though we ordered directly from Parry's online. On top of that, the pizza arrived soggy and cold. Was excited to support this new neighborhood restaurant but they made it clear tonight that they don't want our business. If the person I spoke to on the phone would've been empathetic or at all apologetic that's all I wanted, but instead, I got attitude and "it's not my problem" when they are the ones that made the pizza not DoorDash. read more

I wanted the Alfredo sauce and they had two one of them was spicy so Sabrina the waitress she brought me a little tasting of both and I decided to go with the traditional and what I'll do next time is order the traditional but then get a little a little side thing of the spicy alfredo so that I can mix it according to how I like it. Sabrina was my waitress and she's got some real wit which I appreciate it however I didn't get the service that I wanted and I think a lot of that has to do with that she had to six top tables that she had been waiting on which really kept her busy however I still would have liked my check sooner than having to ask for it. I have always loved the cheesy goodness of the Uptown Mozzarella on almost every visit. This time, not so much. I recognized right away the not only the shape had changed but also upon biting into my go to delicious pleasure I was I was disappointed in the unrecognizable taste. I couldn't even finish the last 2 Mozzarella rectangular things. Very disappointing. From a huge fan please bring back the Uptown Mozzarella as they once were.
