Our local neighborhood restaurant just went from one of our faves to probably number two (just behind The Garten). The welcoming and friendly service is truly exceptional. The general manager is focused and attentive, and clearly his leadership has infected his staff with superior service performance and exceptional food quality. The bartenders are great and the atmosphere is always fun and lively. The Thursday half-price bottles of wine is always a wonderful treat too! If you have not been to The Social in a while, come back and give it a try for all the new fun and interesting menu options!

The food was pretty good. They have a special on the wings on Wednesdays. The service was prompt and friendly. The bartender seated us right away. We actually arrived around noon time so we were the first ones there. I ordered the fried green tomatoes and the buffalo wings. Which came with celery and your choice of dressing. The food was average. Nothing to brag about but I would return to try the crab dip. I heard it was good and I am a fan of any cheese crab dip. I enjoyed my wings. The fried green tomatoes could have been cooked a little longer to suit my taste but it wasn't bad. Just a little hard to cut through with the knife. I'm interested in trying out their early evening. To see if they have any happy Hour specials. I loved the service that was received. So I would definitely return.

It can get packed around the bar but that's fine with me since I just go to shoot pool. The women's bathroom is questionable there is a curtain for one of the stalls and a real door for the other but hey if you don't have a shy bladder you'll be fine. It's also only the water and there's a bench and picnic table to sit at and enjoy the view.

This is a no frills bar with simple offerings and simple decor/furnishings. There is a U shaped bar in the front, served by a single bartender, with 15-20 bar stools around it - plenty of seating options at the bar. Throughout the rest of the space are low top tables to sit 4-6 people. There's also a pool table in the middle of the indoor space which was being used throughout most of the night. The real draw is the outdoor scene - Duke's sits right on beautiful dock on the water. They have several picnic tables and outdoor chairs set up for guests to relax in. All the seats face the water, giving a great view of the water and beach area. Definitely plan your trip around sunset, the views in the evening are priceless. The drinks are solid, low prices for the standard can and bottle options. We got a couple of rails - they were exactly what we expected. I do wish they had some food options or a small menu; they only had bags of chips to offer for a few bucks each. Fortunately, we had eaten earlier in the evening so we weren't too hungry, but we would've been in a tough spot if we were counting on a meal. Got to enjoy a nice dive bar find - highly recommend visiting for the view!
