Ok my coworker gave this place rave reviews. Well I'm here and let's get into it. To start there…read morewas no wait the ambiance is laid back friendly and our server Kendyl was the best. Now let's talk food. Everything was delicious and money well spent. Seafood sampler it was good. The calamari and mini crab cakes delicious, sautéed seafood was ok Stuffed mushrooms you maybe thinking your normal little stuffed ones, nope. Try the size of a fist stuffed full of crab. Steam shrimp why not, the perfect amount of seasoning sitting on a bed of onions. Crab pretzel was warm and creamy. Had to save this for later to save room for the main dish. Maryland crab and cream of crab soup mixed. I'm not a big soup but this bowl changed my mind. The main dish... the Crab cakes. You will not be disappointed with both size, flavor and no filler. One of not the best crab cake I've had in a long time. This spot is definitely added to my saved list and yes I will be back.

The ambiance is an old chain restaurant feel and a little on the dive side. But alas, that is okay because the food specifically the crabcakes is delicious. Service is quick and attentive. Tables aren't forgotten about even during peak hours. This is my go to for crab cakes

It can get packed around the bar but that's fine with me since I just go to shoot pool. The women's bathroom is questionable there is a curtain for one of the stalls and a real door for the other but hey if you don't have a shy bladder you'll be fine. It's also only the water and there's a bench and picnic table to sit at and enjoy the view.

This is a no frills bar with simple offerings and simple decor/furnishings. There is a U shaped bar in the front, served by a single bartender, with 15-20 bar stools around it - plenty of seating options at the bar. Throughout the rest of the space are low top tables to sit 4-6 people. There's also a pool table in the middle of the indoor space which was being used throughout most of the night. The real draw is the outdoor scene - Duke's sits right on beautiful dock on the water. They have several picnic tables and outdoor chairs set up for guests to relax in. All the seats face the water, giving a great view of the water and beach area. Definitely plan your trip around sunset, the views in the evening are priceless. The drinks are solid, low prices for the standard can and bottle options. We got a couple of rails - they were exactly what we expected. I do wish they had some food options or a small menu; they only had bags of chips to offer for a few bucks each. Fortunately, we had eaten earlier in the evening so we weren't too hungry, but we would've been in a tough spot if we were counting on a meal. Got to enjoy a nice dive bar find - highly recommend visiting for the view!

I was seated immediately, and the wait staff was personable, attentive, and made the whole visit feel easy and enjoyable. The food was excellent--fresh, flavorful, and very reasonably priced. I was especially impressed by the variety on the menu. Whether you're vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian, or a devoted meat lover, there's truly something for everyone. It's rare to find a place that caters so well to different dietary preferences without compromising on quality. I didn't order any alcoholic beverages this time, but their beer selection looked great, with plenty of appealing options for a future visit. Overall, Oscar's Alehouse delivered a wonderful lunch experience, and I'll definitely be returning.

My server, Travis, was very friendly and attentive, making sure everything was just right throughout my visit. I started with a cup of French onion soup, and it was so good that I came back today just to order another cup. That alone says a lot. Yesterday I also ordered the Eldersburg Burger, cooked medium-well, paired with their hand-cut fries. This burger was juicy and flavorful--honestly tasted like something you'd get at a family cookout. The fries were delicious and complemented the burger perfectly. I also have to mention the sweet iced tea--it tastes fresh-brewed and has the perfect balance of sweetness. Today, even though I wasn't very hungry, I tried the crab dip. While it wasn't my absolute favorite, it was still good. I also sampled the carrot cake, which unfortunately was a bit dry for my liking. That said, I'll definitely be back--especially on Mondays, when burgers are $8 (with toppings at $1 each, and totally worth it). My server today also let me know about Wing Wednesday: 1 lb of wings for $8, any flavor. Say less! I'm already planning another visit so I can finally try the cream of crab soup, which is made daily. Can't wait to see if it lives up to the hype. Overall, Oscar's Alehouse delivers solid food, great service, and awesome weekly specials. See you soon!
