I don't know how I've never reviewed the Nautical. It is one of my favorite local hole in the wall bars! They are most loved for their karaoke nights that I have been present for numerous times but never participated. They have a full bar and the bartenders are always great. While they don't have a menu, the only food they have are small pizzas (frozen and cooked behind bar) and some bags of chips. They do allow you to bring your own food in if you wish. There is nothing fancy about the Nautical and my favorite detail about them is how they have shower curtains as bathroom doors. It is a great low key party spot. read more

Super fun dive bar in Pasadena. Karaoke on Friday and Saturday is awesome, mostly 80's, and some country and rock too. People here are just laid back and friendly. Went here for a holiday bar crawl. Alex the bartender is awesome and a fun time. Everyone in the bar was super friendly and welcoming. We had a decent size group and Alex was Jonny on the spot with the drinks. We sang some karaoke and had an overall awesome time. We will be back here again real soon! I love nautical. Alex the bartender is more than awesome. They never close early, even when its slow. They have a package store, lottery, pool, and a jukebox. The customers/ atmosphere is very comforting. I admire the eclectic look of the interior of the bar. Drink prices are inexpensive. The bar has a covered porch to smoke on. Bathrooms are always clean. This place profiles!!!!! Went to go take a smoke break after having a drink while watching the game and they tried to stop me from doing so because it was assumed that i was attempting to run out on a SEVEN DOLLAR TAB! Then proceeded to say I had done it before even though it was my first time going there! Needless to say, all the fuss they made over 7 bucks cost them more since I felt uncomfortable and decided to cut my experience short and leave! I do not recommend this hole in the wall to anybody! So much for trying to go out and enjoy the game and patronize a local establishment. BEWARE IF YOU ARE BLACK!!!!! 2018 and we're still doing crap like this?! read more

I was there about 3 hours, bartender was constantly busy and when I cashed out was $94. Explain how the cheapest beer known to man coats $94!!! Charging $3.25 for a 12 ounce can of Natty Light! Save yourself the trouble don't go, and don't get on Alex's bad side/ the bartender!! read more

I love this bar and most of it's patrons. I do however have a few complaints. Although the building is handicap accessible, it is not handicap friendly. If you are in a wheelchair the bathrooms are unusable and it is a pain in the but to get to the ramp into the building. There is also no handicap parking spaces so getting a wheelchair in and out of a vehicle may be problematic. Also, the bartenders are required to give the owner 5% of all tips left on a credit card, so the bartenders appreciate cash tips if you can, especially considering the processing fees to the owner from the credit companies is around 2%. read more

Peaple say Alex is great, and she is pretty. I showed up at 10 pm for karaoke. By my 4th drink she was busy. No reason to act like a total b * tch when I ordered a beer with my shot that SOMEBODY ELSE ORDERED ME. While Outside simply stated that I didnt like how small the place was and I didnt understand why everyone I know comes here. Post statement, I sit at the bar for another beer and she hands me my tab. I asked her for another round for last call and she says she will not serve me because I 'trashed her bar' but never once did I say anything along those lines. Instead of making more money.. she lost out on a FAT ASS TIP from multiple fellows servers and bartenders. First and LAST time ever being there. Extremely sad she works 7 nights a week. Overworked and underpaid due to treatment of customers. Would possibly come see another bartender but whats the point ? As the OWNER didnt even apologize for the terrible treatment I endured while at Nautical lounge. Extremely dissapointed. read more

This place is a dive but sometimes a dive is just what you are looking for. Very friendly staff and karaoke on Friday and Saturday nights. I think there is live music on Thursdays too. A nice place to stop and have a beer, watch the game and just hang out. They also have pool tables, a juke box, keno and a take out store attached. The only thing I don't like is the bathrooms but what are you going to do. read more

Hole-in-the-wall bar complete with pool tables, dart boards, and touch tunes juke box (and Keno). The drinks are cheap and it's never too crowded. They have a very limited bar menu for food. On Friday and Saturday nights there's Karaoke which draws the largest crowds for the week. There is an attached liquor store that has the same hours as the bar. Smokers are welcome on the back porch. This is a very "blue-collar" bar, there is no need to worry about a dress code. All in all, it's worth the stop if you're in the Dena. read more

First time visiting this bar... I've gotta say for it being a tiny whole in the wall, this place rocks! I went on a Friday night and Alex was our bartender. My wife and I sat at the bar and she was fantastic! We didn't know it was karaoke night but once we heard Alex sing, that's all she wrote! Not to mention that my wife really enjoyed speaking Only German to Alex. Multiple languages and that girl belongs on the Voice or American idol, what a total package! She's absolutely gorgeous and has a heart of gold and honest to boot! She was very quick and accurate at serving us and kept up with the massive crowd that bar all by herself! I've been to plenty bars and we just moved to the area but after a very bad experience at the firehouse pub, this totally redeemed the bars in the area. Never have we ever seen a bartender move so fast and keep a smile and sing while she's taking orders and tending bar! Bravo young lady! She deserves a raise seeing that she works 7 nights a week at the nautical! My wife and I most certainly recommend this bar! Cheers! read more

Great local bar. Fast service. Cheap drinks. Outdoor bar in the summer weekends. 4 pool tables. Cheap pizza. Lots of seating. Cash only, but have an ATM. Liquor store inside stays open late. Yes, it's a dive and crappy but a good place to hang out. Also, have a bus program for game days. read more

I attend this bar once every few months. Since I began coming here on the way home I've seen over 10 people get thrown out or cussed out by Alex the bartender for next to no reason. She verbally threatens them with assault and This was all fun and games until this happened to me. A regular I'm assuming started a conversation with me about politics and after he went outside she threatened to hurt me if i didn't immediately leave the property. Several people raised a voice in protest but she threatened them and then yelled. I cold hear her yelling at several patrons for some reason as i steped out front to nicely ask an older gentlemen what the problem is. He responded with "she just does that". I would literally visit any other bar in this town before going back here. read more

I love this bar! Its never too crowded, reasonably priced and karaoke every fri and sat. Special kudos to Alex the bartender. On my second time there with my girlfriend Alex looked at us and said "vodka&cranberry, double capt and a miller lite. I was amazed! Alex has a hell of a voice also. read more

Bar has a bunch of regular drunks, smells like feet, and bathroom has had curtains as doors for years (owner is too cheap to get doors). And the bartender, Alex, has the biggest attitude in the entire industry, sassy as hell, I don't even know how she has lasted this long. You're whack! I've been to this place one too many times, and I promise I will never return! Don't waste your time here! I called this venue and spoke to the manager about hosting an event here to get our business out there. He was very rude, not helpful, and hung up. Wouldn't let me explain anything or give me the time or day like he was too busy to even answer the phone! I will not be visiting this place! read more

This is a great place if you live with in a mile and need to walk home...friendly enough..cheap. It is the diviest dive bar in AA county. Yup its a small rendition of stand by our man in the movie blues brothers. read more
