Triple Nines or "Trips" is very unique. It has the feel of a neighborhood dive bar, except it's HUGE. At least 12- 15 pool tables, where you can play a few days or join a league. Speaking of leagues they also have days and corn hole. On the weekend things get jumping with a DJ, it's a pretty good time. I haven't even mentioned the good or drinks yet. The good is pretty standard bar food. The bartenders pour a good drink and they are reasonably priced. read more

Just moved here and it was the first pool hall I visited in the area. They take care of their tables and the balls are polished. It looks a bit rough (dirty parking lot, rough looking store fronts, clutter under some of the tables) but it's a really nice place. The staff was very friendly even though we were new. They informed us it was League night and the type of rules they play (such as NAPA). They have table you pay per person per hour. After 1800 it increases. I think it was six dollars a person per hour and that's normal prices from Texas to here. They also have darts and a few other games. Good selection behind the bar and an electronic jukebox. I recommend getting their early to make sure you get a table. This place is definitely worth the drive to it. Definitely a place I'll return to. read more

Shooting pool has always been a favorite pastime of mine. Over a decade ago, my friends and I would pay a weekly homage to USA Billiards off of Rt. 198 behind an Acura dealership. Since their closing a couple years back, I never really found a place that could replicate what they offered; USA was a grandeur of pool halls. Every table was carefully, precisely leveled and well-maintained by a great, dedicated owner. There was no questioning whether or not a ball's roll was affected by a slight tilt of the table or abnormality with the green felt. Triple Nine Billiards brings back similar nostalgic feelings, but lacks the attention to detail with their tables and cue sticks that USA was always on point with. The only thing notable is that they provide a fully stocked bar and a projection screen with some additional TVs to watch sports on. That's what gave the 2-star establishment the extra boost to 3 stars. The food is meh. Overall, it is something to do if you're in boondocks Laurel area. read more

Such a nice chill spot to hang with friends. The place is surprising HUGE on the inside with billiards, darts, foosball, and ping pong. We came to play billiards and you pay per hour. The bartenders are friendly and so is the crowd. The whole ambiance of this place is so chill and laxed. I would highly recommend coming here and play some games with some drinks if you're looking for something to do. I find myself from time to time seeking dive bars. This is another interesting spot near the office. I am not a fan of the shopping center or is located, but the bar and billiards is really cool. The bar is not fancy but most common beers are available. I can tell you they make one hell of a long island ice tea. As far s food, it is pretty tasty as far as most bars alike are. They have probably 25 or more pool tables nd I know they have tournaments and league nights here. They also sell sticks and accessories should you be looking to start playing pool or augment your pool collection. Everyone here appears to be a regular... and yes, I am joining that crowd. I play pool here with a friend of mine a couple of times per month. It has always been a great experience. The staff are friendly and welcoming. There is a broad range of people among the easy going clientele. Pretty much every night I am there someone or other strikes up a conversation. They have some pretty good sandwiches; I especially recommend the Cuban sandwich which comes with a lot of delicious pork. You can play darts, ping pong, or dance to the juke box music ( or sometimes a DJ), but I just play pool and watch the other people doing whatever. Don't be put off by the minimal facade of the building or the warehouse-like, somewhat chaotic, atmosphere. Just get started at the service bar in the middle of the place and settle in. I just started frequenting more bars for the casual feel but am not familiar with this area. However after going to Autobahn I needed a celebratory 7th place drink because I beat my date. After looking at the pictures I was looking forward to also playing air hockey. Unfortunately upon our arrival we found that it was not available and had been removed. The cashier told us it was always broken or not treated the best by customers. Overall I really enjoyed the space, comfortable feel, music and the employees. Again, the man behind the register was very very nice. He even suggested a pool table for us to play at that would have less traffic. I will have to go back again. read more

We randomly stumbled upon this spot after googling billiard halls late on Sunday night after Dave and Busters decided that they wouldn't rent pool tables an hour before they closed--and I'm glad it worked out that way. The young ladies at the bar were friendly and attentive. The specials they were running were great,although it appears they always have some time nice special going on. I didn't eat, but my friend had the old bay wings and fries and he said they were good. The drinks were strong, well made, and reasonably priced. There is a jukebox available, so the music was a nice mix throughout the night, because the crowd seemed to be on the same page. All in all we were able to eat, drink, and play games for under $60, which is not easy to do anymore. We will definitely be back. I really liked this place - it's a no-frills, blue collar pool hall/bar in what's pretty much a warehouse. In spite of what others may say, it's actually quite safe (check crime stats online: https://www.crimereports.com/)...maybe they just didn't feel comfortable with the clientele/staff. Everyone's friendly, but also keeps mostly to their own party unless it's to say "excuse me" or something in order to make a shot. The beer selection is slightly limited, but they've got the typical domestics, and Yuengling and Blue Moon on tap. Their food is edible, not very good but not the reason you come here, either. Bring your own cue if you can, because they're all pretty warped from use - good enough for a break but you don't want to rely on them for precision shots. The parking is miserable on weekends during the hours when the neighboring flea market is busy. Play all day on Sunday for a flat fee, though, so that makes up for it, in my opinion, once you get in the door. read more

One of the nicest places around: a dozen or so full size pool tables nicely maintained, a full size billiard table, and a couple of 3/4 size quarter tables, also four regulation dart boards, ping pong tables, air hockey, a juke box and djs on the weekends, and a bunch of full size TVs. Food is standard bar fare, better than most, and there's a special each nite. All the staff are friendly, polite, and usually cheerful :) Not elegant at all, linoleum and ductwork, but a lot of fun. I agree with Ashlie S it is a complete hole in the wall BUT the staff is super cool, Wendy makes the best drinks really they all do but Wendy is the only person I know by name. If you're just looking for some place to chill and not have to spend a bunch of money this is your place. The food is decent and every is priced good. They do have a Dj on Friday's and Saturday's it does get kind of crowded. Complete hole in the wall, but very big and very friendly staff. Billard compatations are interesting and make the place very busy. The bartenders are good because they always seem to keep their cool no matter how busy they seem to be. Which is impressive for a mom and pop place like this. Every time I go in I see the owner. He is hands on and no nonsense. Wendy and Tammy are my favorite bartenders. I can go in there and simply say "make me something good" and they put a drink in front of me and it's always amazing. The food is a whole other faced of why I gave this place 5 stars. Their crab dip is all fresh and served with either a baguette or pretzel rolls. To die for! The pizza taste fresh and perfect and I don't like pizza but I actually order the pizza every time I go now because of how good it is. They have darts and ping pong, pool and table soccer. We were sent here from our old favorite, never to return to Stain Glass Pub. SGP likes to close early and not accommodate their customers during posted hours and defer them here. When we arrived it was loud and busy but I was starving and they had food! The service was great, friendly and the drinks are strong. A bit loud but we had a good time and were happy to have hot fresh food. Most of the food is fried but it wasn't greasy at all. The staff was great! read more
