I was told by my employer and the insurance company they could use the info and pay for the appts after I got the insurance card. However, they refused to see me, refused to even let me talk to my doctor, and refused to fill my prescription, all because I couldn't pay the FULL amount upfront. I even offered partial payments and they declined. It is sickening when doctors choose money over the health of their patients. Sickening that money is more important than relieving suffering for people, as doctors do.

I was given a physical, but I did NOT receive a Medicare physical - and I only know this only because when I returned in 2023, the Medicare physical I received was entirely different than the one the year before. Before I went in for the physical in 2023, I asked how long it would take and the receptionist said 30 minutes. This is important to me, as I am a teacher and need to let the school know about coverage. While at the appointment, they told me they needed a urine sample. If I'd known I would not have gone to the bathroom before I left for the appointment. When the Nurse Practitioner Mann came into the room (30 minutes later) and asked about the urine sample - when I explained - she gave me a bottle of water. Why didn't her staff do that? They just kept pointing me to the bathroom and telling me to try. Also - when it was time to be weighed, I walked toward the scale - a medical looking scale - and was told, "No not that one" and they brought out a bathroom scale that was dirty and broken on one side. Whaaaaat? That appointment took an hour and 30 minutes. An hour more than what I was told!! After that hour and a half appt, I received the results of the blood work and needed a follow up appt, but - I also needed another appointment for a follow up on cat bite I'd had treated at Urgent Care. I called to make an appointment and to see if the appointments could be combined. The receptionist said she wasn't sure, but would check. I then asked how long she thought it would take if..... and before I could finish my sentence she said "30 minutes". Ugh. I was really upset and told her to let me talk to someone who knew the answers. Amandeep Mann got on the phone and I told her how I had been misinformed about the approximate length of my last appointment, and that her staff didn't seem to know answers. She said, "We are doing our best here!" And I said, "Well it's not good enough!" and she said, "Well then you can go and find another doctor!" I said, "I will!" - and that was then end of them. If a medical office does not have a staff that makes patients feel cared for, and it cannot provide what it's supposed to during an appointment, and it's a little dirty - I don't want to be there. I have a doctor at UW Valley Med now, and I feel very cared for. I do not recommend Kent Family Practice at all!!!

I will no longer return to this office due to the shoddy service received here. The doctor clearly overwhelms his schedule to the point patients wait 45-60 minutes past their scheduled time. When you do see him, the entire visit lasts less than 10 minutes. On top of that, he offers no advice, personalized care, or any real conversation. He clearly wants people in and out as fast as possible. They will bill you through the roof, though, for the 10 minutes they see you. Office staff is also inexperienced, apathetic, and some of the billing managers are rude.

If I need to be contacted by my doctor about appointment or question I asked when I was setting up an appointment they can make the call back quickly (same day) or a little slower 24-48 hours later. Overall pleased with the office. Urgent care: The urgent care has been a regularly good visits as we check in online the few times we've had to make an urgent care visit. The doctors have all been nice and knowledgeable. It's our go to if there's something we think doesn't need an ER visit or we can't wait for a doctors appointment.

By far my best experience has been with Tito and Danny at Atlas Physical Therapy. They are kind professional and definitely interested in your short term and long term health. They pushed appropriately but not too much. Tito uses an app that reminds you of which exercises to do on your days off, and I am still using the app even though I am released from therapy. Hopefully no future injuries but if I do I will definitely be seeing Tito, Danny, and their great support staff such as Jessie.

During that time I had to look for medical care elsewhere and discovered Pacific Medical. My initial contact was with a receptionist (name ?) who was the most pleasant receptionist I believe I've ever met. She was so helpful and arranged an appointment for me to meet a new PCP (Primary Care Physician). She transferred all my medical records from UW Medicine making the process painless. Did I mention the receptionist was so very pleasant? After my initial meeting with my new PCP, I was thoroughly impressed with the staff at Pacific Medical. The medical facility is really close by my apartment, so traveling back and forth is not a problem. Lots of parking, with about half dozen Handicap parking stalls directly out from the front door of the clinic. Perhaps the time spent with negotiations between Aetna & UW Medicine was my good luck.
