I'm updating my previous review, which was very positive, because part of my most recent experience was bad enough that it needs to be said. What has changed my rating are the wings. While waiting for pizzas to go, I ordered garlic parmesan wings. What came out was bad. They looked extremely wet and glossy, almost slimy, with an odd orange tint and yellowish chunks in the sauce. Garlic parmesan wings should be relatively dry, with crisp skin, garlic, and grated cheese. These were soaking wet and visually off-putting. The texture was even worse. The wings were soggy, soft, and smushy, as if they had been boiled or steamed rather than fried. The skin had zero crispness and no structure at all. Completely limp. I prefer extra-crispy wings, and these were the exact opposite. Flavor didn't redeem them. These were, without exaggeration, the worst wings I've ever been served, both in texture and taste. If I had tasted the first one myself, I would have sent them back immediately. Unfortunately, my girlfriend ate two before I tried one, so I bit the bullet and paid for them without mentioning it to the kitchen. I hate lowering the score, especially after a better prior experience, but no one should be paying for wings like that. Hopefully this gets addressed, because the staff and the pizza deserve better than being dragged down by something so avoidable. read more

Ok.... Lemme say this much: I used to love coming here & even ordering online... BUT.... As of today, this will be my final time ordering online. Ordered online several times and when I would come at the time they would text me that the order will be done, these are some of the excuses why my order wasn't ready for p/u: 1.) "The order just came in" 2.) "We're so BZ but we'll get it out to U; rmbr I ordered online & I already had 45min to wait... OR.... They hadn't even prep'd the food and I have sat in the parking lot for an Hr, additionally, after receiving a text it would be ready in 30-45min. This is my last visit bc the Ck-out would not allow me to enter 15% or less. Just wna know... if the things I've mentioned above equates to more than 15% or more, for a tip. What that told me is that this location allows the product and service to be mishandled everytime I order online and expect a tip more than Jesus asked to tithe.... None of the times I've picked up my food did they walk on water. I have mentioned it to the Mgr the second time this happened & I've ordered multiple times after and the service & the food... hadn't made the mark for me to continue coming. 1star bc I could not leave a review w/o any stars. read more

We stumbled in here after a meeting in Downtown Woodstock. The ambiance didn't seem very inviting as no one really acknowledged us for several minutes but once a server came out it was friendly. The pizza was better than expected based on the pictures I'd seen other post. Great crust and didn't over sauce. Very generous with toppings! My wife had the calzone and it was great as well. Good pizza. Great crust! Efficient service! Snag a high-top table in the back or on the patio if it's nice outside. Try the loaded potato pizza - so good. The place was packed, but we didn't mind the wait for pizza. They do have Daiya cheese for those with dairy allergies. They may still offer cauliflower crust too. A small pizza feeds 2 people, easy. The road runner pizza has no spice at all despite the description. They only have a one-stall bathroom, so good luck finding it available if it's a crowded time of day. Fun, local crowd! read more

I tried Partner's pizza the other night after strolling through downtown after running an errand. I have seen them a thousand times since they opened but for some reason never got a chance to try them out...now I wished I tried them earlier... The first time I just ordered a slice and a soda since I wasn't super hungry but was looking for a snack. The place was pretty busy (it was a Saturday night) and the staff member informed me that everything is made fresh to order regardless of whether it's a slice or an entire pie...so I knew I would be waiting...but I was okay with it but if you're in a rush for lunch or something like that be sure to call ahead to order...after 20 minutes I was surprised to that their staff member brought the slice right to me at my table instead of just calling out my name...very nice! I've also their their small size pizza which is more like a medium size pizza...for $10+ and change it's a really good deal. The crust is very thin and buttery and the sauce is chunky and the perfect sweetness. Truly excellent. We decided to do a pick up order( not even sure if they deliver. The place was packed when we went to pick up. The staff was super nice and helpful. We order the speciality pizza, Buffalo wings and a salad. The pizza was really good! Wings were ok, nothing special. I've been ordering take out from here for a while and usually we are happy with our pizza! Last night however, on a busy Wednesday night, we received a pizza with staples inside.. there were 2 and I almost ate the one shown here in the pictures, before spitting it out. I'm not sure how staples would end up in the dough of our pizza, but it definitely freaked me out thinking I could have internally injured myself while eating.. hopefully this won't happen again. read more

UPDATED. Third time here. Never again. I don't care how good the pizza is. Sat in the front this time. Ten minutes after sitting down the server came over. He didn't bring any menus. Another TWENTY-TWO minutes for the drinks to arrive. Going on 30 minutes and still no food. Seriously, there's A Taste of New York a mile up the ro and also on Hwy 92... both are authentic NYC pizza. And I can get in and out without feeling like I ought to collect a pension. Pizza is pretty good, but it's hard to ruin pizza. Service, on the other hand is W E A K. Sat in the back both times I've been here. Both times same server. First time we waited over an hour for the food (place was nearly empty). Second time food was faster but half the drink order was forgotten. Sever did not check in to see if the food was okay... the wings were served with a few old carrot sticks, no wet nap. I'll come back as long as as there is no wait. But my guess is this place will not last long. read more

The best pizza in the area. The crust is the perfect combination of crispness and softness - sorry Rover, but no pizza bones left over. The overall balance of flavors - sauce + toppings + cheese - is just right with no one component dominating too much. The ingredients taste fresh, and you can taste and appreciate each ingredient. The service is on point, the atmosphere is fitting of a pizza joint, there is a nice selection of beer...what more could you want in a pizzeria? read more

Eh. This place was good when it opened but has gone quickly downhill. Three times in a row we have ordered take out and the result is always the same - undercooked, soggy pizza. Not sure why I gave it a third try but we did and the result was the same. $50 for two large pizzas - both severely undercooked. Took a photo trying to hold a slice of one pizza. The other photo shows cheese Pizza which was same way - kids took one bite and all the cheese just slid off every piece. Cross this off our list of places to eat. Service was horrible. Food was horrible. The pizza was cold and not cooked all the way through. The wait staff were in the black hallway laughing and "farting' around" and ignoring their customers. We finally just got up and checked ourselves out and paid at the bar. Upon entering we were greeted with warm welcomes & smiles. Staff was very kind & friendly, willing to help us with the menu & was very attentive to our needs the entire time. We ordered the carnivore & the alfredo pizza on thin crust. Both pizzas were loaded with toppings & cheese. The toppings were fresh & high quality meats & full of flavor! The crust of the pizza was also very good, which a nice buttery flavor. We also ordered the cinnamon bread sticks which are SO GOOD! Thin & full of cinnamon & came with very large sides of icing. Great addition to downtown Woodstock! When you walk in it is clear the place is taking a que from NY pizza places with limited seating up front, exposed brick, and general decor. Great vibe. We had to sit in the back near the bar to accommodate the 3 in our party. The bar seems to have some good beers on tap from local favorite Reformation Brewery, and nearby Creature Comforts. We ordered cheese sticks and the carnivore pizza. Pizza was good and cheese sticks were too. I didn't love the marinara with cheese sticks it was a bit sweet but that's a preference. They use foam and plastic cups, paper plates, and plastic cutlery. No big deal unless you're against that or prefer a real fork. read more

We had an appetizer at Salt and headed here for a pizza to take home. We pulled up the online menu so we knew what we wanted when we got there. Based on the online menu, our pizza would be $22.00 but rang up as $30.00. Apparently they have raised prices but didn't bother to post this online. We hadn't seen this place before so we decided to try it when walking by. We ordered a small Buffalo chicken pizza and an order of the cinnamon breadsticks as an "appetizer" and sat down to wait. About 25 min later I asked about the "appetizer" and he said "oh yeah, sorry" and it came out with the pizza about 10 minutes later. The pizza was fine. Nothing to write home about-I wouldn't be writing a bad review if that's all we had. But what really pushed us over the edge was the cinnamon breadstick situation. I wish I'd have taken a photo but it was black on the bottom. The dough was so thin that it snapped like cracker. It was downright disgusting. We forced ourself to try to find less hard/burnt pieces but weren't successful. After picking through it we left vowing never to return. Again, pizza was fine but do NOT order the cinnamon breadsticks. read more

Very good pizza and reasonable price. I highly recommend the carnivore pizza for meat lovers. The basic cheese pizza is also amazing. You can also order by the slice and they'll make it for you to order. Just be sure you order about 15 minutes ahead of time if you intent to pick up. This place is in the interesting part of Woodstock. There are many other shops around, if you feel like exploring. The whole area is very pedestrian friendly. IMO this area is a great place for a date with plenty to do and eat. read more

Will try again and hope for better pizza :) First time ordering from here and my pizza was black. The crust was literally black. I did not order a well done pizza. The small pizza and salad was for me and my 3 year old, he would not eat it. He wanted to know why the pizza was black. We waited an hour to get burnt pizza and then I had to go still end up making something for my kid to eat since he would touch the black pizza. I Sent photos...Grub hub tried to get me a refund, but said partners will not do anything. horrible customer service. Why would you allow that pizza to leave your restaurant?! First and last time trying this place. With so much competition around you... you gotta do better. read more

Once the best pizza in town. Last to trips there the pizza lacked topping and cheese. Half the pizza was crust. Not worth the price anymore. Guess inflation hit my favorite pizza place. read more
