I brought a car from john off of face book some months ago and I was told the car was well kept, to find out the car needs close to 4k worth of work done, at the time I asked that he be fair and give me a kick back for repairs he told me to drive it in tp parts and polish and he would see what he can do. by than this car needed brakes and rotors BAD!!! I if would consider paying for the brakes and rotors and his response was NO!! right now its been months since I have driven it due to all repairs expense that continue to go up. I'm looking for results and hope that this review is notice, he has me on block lol, you can't make this shit up. But I hope him or his buddy rob who met me to test drive the car which was a bit crazy because he also said john kept the car up and never had problems. This review is long overdue. I stumbled upon Parts & Polish nearly two years ago when I was looking to install wheel spacers. I was unbelievably pleasantly surprised to find out Jonathan and Will can handle anything auto related from exhaust installations, wheel mounting & balancing and even custom steering wheel installations. They have since worked on nearly a half dozen of my cars. They also have an incredible full-time Detailer on their staff who does amazing work. Still waiting for my refund after owner stole close to $4k from us. Had to involve A.D.A. Nassau County and threaten him with larceny charge. Like pulling teeth, he paid back slowly a grand a month (late each month) until final payment. Still hasn't paid over $800 still owed. Guy is a thief. Do not do business with him. There are no words to describe how thankful I am to have found this place. Needed my tire fixed and I couldn't make there. My angels came to my rescue. They offered to come to where I was to help. When they arrived they didn't everything even took my donut that needed air took back to the shop to get air so I wouldn't drive with a flat donut. Cane back and finished the job on a Friday after 5:30. I was thankful to come across kind helpful people. So refreshing to come across wonderful people in this day an age. I brought my wife's Rover to get the rims powder coated a few years ago, they came out good. No problems. I go back with my brand new F150 to get it blacked out, emblems, rims, windows, backup sensors, bed liner. Basically he f'd up everything. Wanted white letters on inside. Went to check on truck. Letters were on outside. They reversed. Then tire pressure sensor was messed up. Had to go back to Ford after he couldn't replace and reset. Bedliner wasn't seated correctly. Backup sensor display fell off on way home. Truck went back and forth half a dozen times to get straightened out. Each time something else was messed up. He plastic dipped emblems which is only temporary and peeled shortly after and looked like crap, all the emblems were loose and could be removed by hand. Wheels were chipped or not properly coated had to be redone each time, tire pressure sensors were constantly getting messed up every time he recoated wheels. Basically I had to have EVERYTHING redone by a professional body shop. After the truck being at his shop for weeks at a time. Every time there was another excuse. I cut a deal to get 400 back of the nearly 2 g I paid to get truck done. Again excuses had to chase him down for nearly 3 months. No cash, bounced checks, all kinds a shit. This place is the worst, the workers look high most of the time. It's not even a registered motor vehicle repair shop. Clearly the other people posting reviews are his buddies. Save yourself grief and money. Go somewhere else. This place is a joke. I wish I could post zero 2/7/17 update: the cheap ass lug nuts you put on my truck are rusting. Another 70.00 dollars to replace down the drain. read more

If u can steer clear from this place!! I purchased some rims from the owner named Jonathan in April of this year 2022. & this jerk told me that it would fit my Jeep Grand Cherokee. So I left the shop to get them installed on my truck due to this jerk telling me that he's over booked to do the installation. I got to a queens tire shop the same day I purchased them & was told that those rims I just purchased doesn't fit my truck. I called Jonathan & he told me that oh there lying those guys don't no what there doing & bring them back & he'll have he's guys take care of it! This jack a$$ held my rim for 4 months handing me excuses after excuses during this time period. Here it is August & I purchased them in April mind u! I got fed up & cursed them out for duckin my calls & lying soooo much. Even when I went there today on 8/2/22 he claimed he wasn't at the shop & when I told one of he's goons I'm here to pick up my rim, his goon told me that Jonathan is in the basement. Got a good vibe when I met Jonathan . It's not easy to trust a person with my pride and joy 2013 Camaro SS. I was undecided about the wheels I wanted and Jonathan came up with some really nice looks for my car. He put time aside to take care of me which is unheard when it comes to getting something done on a vehicle. He got exactly what I asked for and did a great job on the wheels. I also had a QTP cutout exhaust installed with him and just as with the wheels,perfect to what I wanted. If you want someone personal to deal with when having work done then I highly suggest Jonathan who not only owns the business but is the guy under your car !!! Took my car to get fixed. The body was damaged. The owner Jonny told me he will fix the damages with no problem. He didn't want me to take my car to any body shop by holding it and hiding it in a different parking lot. He prevented me to see where my car was to a point I had to go on my car app and track it down. The car was literally parked across the street for over 45 days and he kept on delaying it making excuses that he's still working on it. Returned the car with a ridiculous bill for over $2,000 and when I received it the paint didn't even match and the body wasn't sanded. I complained about the bill while he promised me it wasn't going to be under $1,000 but then cranked it up lying that he had to get a few parts which he didn't. Then after finally receiving my car back I had leaks within a few different parts of my car due to his pathetic work. He promised he would fix it and I had to wait another two weeks while my car once again was thrown into a lot which he didn't do anything about until I called and harassed him to finish a 3 hour job. He then promised me he would take care of the car once again and said that he would do anything to make sure I was happy knowing I was furious. He finally fixed it while charging me another $1,000 holding me hostage stating that he had to pay his worker for this job, needless to say this was all his fault, and stating that he would not give me the key while holding my car for over three months. I recently took it to another body shop while my car was literally breaking apart do to his lackluster work and they charged me $500 to fix all his pathetic jobs. Save yourself from this man. All he is good for is putting a new tire and a rim on your car. He did not know what fixing a car means. read more

They may give you a good price, but I would rather pay more elsewhere. They damaged my car, and would not even return my phone calls. They don't have the equipment they claim to have, like a modern and calibrated wheel balancer. They do not even have a NYS license to do repairs they regularly perform. They will never let you see your own car being worked on, not even from afar. They will close all doors to ensure you see nothing, even if they die of the heat in the shop. This is a shady business. About a year after i purchased rims and tires from these Ba....... i attempted to get a damaged rim cap key replaced .I was treated like they never did business with me .They said they would get back to me and they never did . WARNING do not do business with people who do not help former customers it is a bad sign as to their integrity . I was lucky that i found the extra key by mistake read more

i had bought wheels from them, they charged me double the price of any other shopi went to. i couldnt belive it. and since it was a cash deal the owner; johnny, told me that he can not refund me. i got over it, scratched my wheel so i asked him if he could fix it. he took my wheel and put me on my stock ones. i havent heard from him for 3-4 weeks, i stepped into his shop and he told me he forgot to ship them out to get repaired and to come back in a month. very unsatisfied with their horrible business. read more
