Just picked up our second leased car from North Bay. For a new 3 year lease it was only $15 more a month, Not too bad. We have been dealing with Joey and he is the only one we will do business with. Don't know how the other sales people are, everyone seems very nice, however Joey is soft spoken, very polite, efficient, friendly and not pushy at all. He contacted us before our lease was up because there were some good incentives to trade in. He explained everything to us in detail and was very patient. Several days later we picked up our new car and Joey of course was there for us like we were his only customers giving us his full attention. We spent almost an hour going over all the new features and helping us setup the WiFi and OnStar and explaining everything. It was such a pleasure dealing with him. Since we only have 18K miles on the vehicle, he suggested the "LOW MILEAGE" was the cause of the battery failure. Guess we can't buy a GMC again. I visited the dealership for a tire warning notification. I purchased a tire package from GMAC Karp dealer when I purchased my car. This was my third visit for this problem, second time at this service center. On my original visit this same representative informed me that only oil changes and state inspections are performed on weekends. (When I scheduled this appointment I told the receptionist that it was for a low pressure warning light) I rescheduled my visit for a weekday and left work early to have this issue repaired. When I arrived the receptionist didn't have note of appointment, I showed her the email confirmation I had received, she introduced me to a service representative who signed me in 40 minutes after my arrival. He informed me that the tire package I purchased from Karp GMAC was not a GMAC plan and I will be responsible to pay first then contact the company for reimbursement. This was different than I was explained when purchasing my car so I proceeded to call Karp. The salesperson at Karp stated the service representative only needed to call the company and the insurance company will pay for the repair. I relayed the information and gave him the needed name telephone numbers. 2 hours later the service representative came to me stating my tire had a nail and needed to be patched because of the size of the damage a plug would not work . One hour later he came to me stating "your insurance is crap" they are only willing to pay $20 and this is a $68 job. (I believe $20 is a fair fee for patching a tire) He stated I would need to pay the full amount and apply for reimbursement from the company. I questioned the exhorbanant price to patch a tire, why I've had to wait 4 hours to have such a simple repair and why wouldn't he accept the insurance companies payment so I can just pay the difference. At this point I was frustrated with his vague responses and I called the insurance company. The adjuster stated to me he was familiar with my case and had spoken with the North Bay service representative who refused to receive the credit card information to receive payment from the insurance company. I feel the North Bay Service representative was being less than honest and wasted 4HOURS of my time. On my original visit he did not look at my tire (a nail is frequently visible) so I took time off of work to sit in the dealership, the service representative was rude an condescending. I asked him to speak to his supervisor or manager her said there isn't one. I then raised my voice asking for a manager because I think he is ripping me off, he handed me my keys and said I can go. AVOID THIS DEALER AT ALL COSTS. They are both dishonest and inept, the worst combo. Initially my experience was pretty decent as the salesman was responsive and pleasant to deal with. However, things quickly unraveled. I found a used F-150 Platinum here that was just traded in. I was coming from NH so the salesman answered a number of questions over the phone and email. I told him I would be there at noon to close the deal, arrived and the truck was not ready, still being detailed. Once it was there and I test drove it, we sat down to finish the deal. I planned to finance it and sat down with the arrogant "finance guy", who looked more inconvenienced having me there than anything. He kept checking his cell phone and acted like he was the coolest guy in NY and knew everything. The finance rate and terms were nowhere near what I was quoted over the phone before coming in. I ended up still doing the deal because I liked the truck. Then they brought in their support staff member Laura to do all the paperwork. The sales guys had asked her to have everything prepared and have NH resident sales tax and registration rules researched prior to me coming in. She had done NONE of it. We waited there for hours while she got everything together. And of course because they had only done one NH buyer before, they got all the numbers wrong and charged me $600 sales tax when NH does not have a sales tax! I tried explaining this to her but she had no desire to listen or adjust the numbers. She is absolutely terrible to deal with and very unprofessional. Here's the biggest issue with this dealer. They required me to use a third party company called It's Easy Inc. to handle the registration and title directly with my state. I tried as hard as possible for them to allow me to do it myself like every other dealer allows, they wouldn't budge and charged $200 for it. Fine, I had already been there 4+ hours and wanted to leave. 2 weeks later, still no plates or paperwork. I had one week left on my temp plates so I contacted the dealership, they told me it was out of their hands and refused to even contact the third party for fear of annoying them and having them discontinue their business relationship - ridiculous. I contacted It's Easy Inc directly, they refused to talk to me. I had to go pay to get new temp plates from my state because my dealer plate had expired while that company sat on the paperwork. They finally sent the forms to my town that I physically reside in as Laura gave them, but it should have gone to the town on my license, my mailing address (different town). They had to resend the forms to that town. 5 weeks after purchase the vehicle finally got registered. Then It's Easy and the dealer had the nerve to try to charge me double ($400) for their services because they had to resend the paperwork to the second town! What a joke. I'm currently trying to get this money back from the dealer, along with the sales tax they wrongfully charged me, but they refuse to. It's 4 months after the purchase and I'm still dealing with these people. I'll be going to the BBB and most likely filing a lawsuit against them for it since they're so unreasonable. Finally, the most dishonest thing of the whole deal was the tires on the vehicle. They told me the tires had 80% tread left over the phone. When I got there, I noticed the outer tread by the walls was way more worn than the middle of the tire. When I took it to tire dealers later to see how much life was left in them (turns out just 8k miles worth was left), they researched the tire and found out that it was a tire that comes on Cadillacs such as the Escalade. The uneven wear on the tires was from the previous driver having an allignment issue. My guess and other dealers' guess is that a Cadillac owner had their tires changed at North Bay Cadillac and the dealer then took those old tires and put them on the F-150 too fool buyers into thinking there was more life in them, either because they wanted the new tires the F-150 owner had on there for someone else or the tires on there we too worn to sell the truck with. read more

If you are black stay away. I had my car towed here from brooklyn because they were the only dealer withing 25 miles who had my key in stock. I spoke with three individuals, jen, parts advisor, Joe and service advisor Amanda before brining in my car. No one told me what I needed to get a new key made. Day later, Service advisor Marino and parts manager were discriminating to say the least. I have had the car serviced before by this dealership from cadillac roadside. Because i just renewed my registration I didnt have the new one from dmv they said i couldnt prove the car was mine. I had insurance card. Instead of explaining how i can get a new key made with proper paperwork i was asked why i was brining my car so far away. ????? What does that have to do with my paperwork??? Oh... i guess they felt like i was getting a key made illegally. As they assumed by that point the car wasn't mine. Furious by the question, I explained that the no dealership withing 25 miles of my home had a key in stock. I was then responded to by the parts manager, "that's hard to belive" are you kidding me???? After I asked about getting a notarized letter stating the car was indeed mine I was told they would make an exception and allow me to make copies of the key. I then asked Scott Foreza, service director about why I would be asked such questions, instead of thanking me for brining the car to them. He acknowledged that the question was stupid but didn't feel it was discriminating. I whole hearty disagree. I would give them 1 star except that I spoke with another service person who made me feel welcomed. Will not be coming back and giving this place my business. We were so impressed with the service and attention to detail we received that I recommended my inlaws who were in the process of looking for a car. We purchased a Cadillac ATS here from Frank and soon after the car battery died on us, we called them about it and they tried to divert the check engine problem as us using the wrong kind of gas for the car. They took it in to get serviced because we asked them to give us a new battery. They returned the car saying the battery and the cable for the cars battery were corrected but alas 7 months later our car battery dies again and the car is giving us a service message that the battery is low. I gave the service center a call who let us know that the battery was never changed! Furthermore we overpaid our original purchase by $584 and having called and emailed a few times, they would not get back to us about issuing a refund. We could only get the money back when we decided to buy a warranty for our tires and they applied the overpayment to that. Not very honest people to do business with. read more

****UPDATE**** May 2016 Having brought my car in SIX different times since March for the same repair issue, my car is STILL not repaired. As I'm writing this, I still haven't received my car back yet for some squeaking in the wheels when braking gradually to a stop. Though the last visit, the mechanic SUPPOSEDLY replaced the brake pads, upon driving the car home the car still had the same issue! Had to turn around for the SIXTH TIME and return my car back. It is still in the shop SINCE FRIDAY!! Totally unsatisfactory and unacceptable!!! Not to mention on my last visit, they made me sign a note authorizing them to have mechanic drive my car to his home and back to work again in order to figure out if he could "hear" where the same sound is coming from that me and my husband and our family all hear!! We are not deaf or hearing things! The car was driven a an additional 99 miles and still not repaired!! We are very frustrated and upset and because of this will not recommend your car being serviced at this dealership!! I started off good with this dealership, but the mechanical service is horrible!! I thought it was odd to have mechanic drive my car to his home and back to work and that a "TRAINED" GM mechanic could not find nor fix this problem!! The service advisor Keith however was kind and understanding and seemed as frustrated as us. But it is still unacceptable that my car has been in and out of the shop since March and not repaired. Then one time they gave me a loaner car, that was so filthy not even cleaned. There were boogers all smeared in the center console and all over passenger seat, empty water bottle in the back seat and tissues all over back seat of car. My 9 and 10 year old children were disguised as was I who had to drive the car in that filthy condition! GMC was first on my list of dealerships to check out. However, my overall experience at GMC was terrible. When I first walked in, there was no-one in sight to help us out. Finally, after waiting several minutes someone from the Cadillac section walked over and was taking care of us. When we asked to test drive the GMC Acadia, they did not have any readily available for us to test drive. So we made an appointment for the following week as the sales rep informed us she will call us to confirm a time and date to test drive. It's been over 2 weeks since she was supposed to call us.
