The day of Halloween is probably the busiest this store could ever be and they handled it like champs. While the costume aisles were packed with last-second shoppers, the staff were doing a great job directing people to the correct sections and checking everyone out. read more

This store is overpriced. They have the worst return policy in existence. I tried to return unopened Harry potter glasses but was denied a refund or even store credit. I was only allowed to exchange for Halloween merchandise that I did not need. I will never shop at this store again. read more

I am not sure if words can really describe how miserable my experience was at this store. It all comes down to the fact that their employees (including managers) are miserable themselves and either not enabled to take care of issues that arise, or simply do not want to. Either way, I will never return! I would rather order party supplies online ahead of time, or go without them. read more

They have EVERYTHING here. I appreciate how organized things are and that you can find everything you are looking for for any type of party. They've got so much stuff though, you've got to be careful. You can end up spending more than you intended because you are in the "party spirit." Terrible customer service, rude staff, not pet friendly I recently went to this location to buy a Halloween outfit for my dog and many decoration props. Surprisingly, although they're located right next to Petsmart and they sell dog costumes, they don't allow dogs in the store. What a nonsense... As soon as I walked in the door holding on my arms my 3 pound tiny Pomeranian an employee asks me ( without even greeting me) - Is that a service dog? - No, it is not. - Then I need to ask you to step out of the store. Manager Nancy is the absolute worst! If you need help or are looking for customer service your better off to a wall. Paid $16 for a balloon that deflated 3hours after I bought it. Called to see if there was anything they could do, they told me to bring the balloon in which, fuck, okay. I brought the balloon back in thinking they were going to replace it...nope, they just wanted to let me to my face there was nothing they could do. Awesome! Do not shop here the store has terrible customer service and their return policies are all to keep your money !!! Yesterday I went to return some Xmas bakeware I had purchase the day before . One of the managers Bonnie H said I had to exchange it for seasonal items only . I had my receipt and they still had more of the Xmas items I wanted to return . Bonnie said it was store policy that seasonal item could only be exchanged for seasonal items and you could not get your money back . They also will not take returns with a receipt after 30 days . Customer service here is horrible. There was only one cashier working, and didn't see anybody else in the store. When I finally got to pay, there was no apologies for the long wait. I was there to get a dozen balloons, then he, Ian, started to fill up my balloons and with 4 balloons left, he just walked off to check more people out. The line continued to get long, and he just checked people out. Then returned to the balloons with no apology. When I left I saw another worker, not sure where they were the rest of the time. Party City refuses to honor its website prices in store. Nowhere on the Part City website does it state that these prices will not be honored. In fact, the website tells you which stores have the product you want. Then when you get to the store you find out they might charge more for the same product. This is called bait and switch. read more

Dont Shop at this retailer! I tried to return $20 worth of extra party supplies- unopened and with the receipt and the salesperson wouldnt take it back or give me a merchandise credit! The reason? Because it was over 30 days that I had purchased the items. Honestly, I will not shop there again. Was it truely that big of a deal to return $20 worth of stuff or give me a store credit for something I can use?? Online they are running a sale on their heart balloons that if you buy 6 or more they're 99¢ each. I went to buy 12 balloons and tissue paper for my store for Mother's Day weekend. When I got to the register, with the tissue paper in hand fully expecting to walk out with 12 balloons in the other hand, I was told they weren't running that promotion even when I asked if they would price match THEIR OWN WEBSITE. They're lucky there aren't many other party supply stores in the area. Poor customer service. read more

we have seldom encountered a place with worse service. Our credit card number was stolen a week ago. We got a new one. When we wanted to return a few things, the manager insisted we provide the old one which we had used to buy what we were trying to return. The credit card company had told us to destroy the old card since it wasn't valid. iIndeed, if the store had tried to put money on the account it would have been rejected. since the account is closed. We had the original receipt but he insisted nonetheless that the only way we could get a refund was if he used the old card (note that the customer guarantee at the register days nothing aside from providing the original receipt--he said it was wrong but they couldn't change it). He then said the only other alternative was to bring a legal document in from the credit card compamy. He obviously knew that wasn't worth the effort. (it was less than $3). So he kept us from returning the items but he has lost hundreds of dollars in sales from us. He said that wasn't his problem. His rigidity wasn't the only problem. I wish I had checked Yelp before buying balloons from this Party City location. If I could leave a zero star, I would. I have never been so angry trying to get the MANAGER to make my order right after screwing it up TOTALLY!!! She was rude, dismissive, and blamed me for the mistakes that were made. I ordered the Pink Wild Safari Balloon Bouquet, and asked if it would be okay to exchange one of the round "It's a Girl" balloons for one cheetah print, she said no problem. So I was supposed to get: 1 "It's a Girl" round 18, 3 pink cheetah print, and 1 Large Giraffe.....and I paid the extra $1.50 for the balloon bag to keep them from blowing all over the place. Unfortunately, the bag is not see thru. I picked up my order, arrived at the baby shower, releasing the balloons from the bag, and there was no Giraffe. I called the store (was put on hold for at least 5 minutes) to ask what happened, and the girl said I was the one who said I didn't want the giraffe! Why would I order a 5 piece bouquet, and ask to have the main balloon left out?!? She treated me like crap, and if you think the customer is always right, think again, because this manager refused to make my order right. I was already at the party and could not return to the store to argue my point, get a refund, whatever, because this manager kept reminding ME that the mistake was my fault! Oh, by the way, the Pink Cheetah print balloons are NOT PINK like they show in the picture, just standard old brown cheetah print, not exactly baby girl colors. read more
