#116 I thoroughly enjoyed this Party City. Everything I had to do was easily accomplished while I was here and that for one, makes me love this place all the more! I placed an online order and less then thirty minutes later I received an email saying my order was ready for pickup. When I arrived at the party city, I was greeted by a friendly worker and made my way over to the online order pickup area. I could see my bag ready and waiting for me. The wait for someone to see me was less than a couple minutes and they scanned my pickup number with a smile. I walked around a little bit to see what they had out for the Halloween season and boy did they have so much! I loved how their set up was for all the items they were showcasing and everything was very well put together and clean. Prices ranged from a few dollars to a couple hundred(!!!) depending on what I was looking at. Overall a super clean Party City with some amazingly friendly staff! read more

Where to begin? It's such a shame that Party City is closing down many of their locations. I know it is hard in this economy, but it really is a bummer that everything I grew up with in the 90's is leaving us. I came here with my boyfriend to this location once I read the news about the locations closing. I'm glad I came! Everything was discounted to 40%. Wish I came later when everything was 60%! It's okay though. I got some cute things I could use and stocked up on play doh for work! Can you beat less than a dollar each for play dough!? It will be an era missed with this company starting to close down, but I'm so happy that I got to experience it all! Yearly coming here during Halloween and looking at costumes for ideas, etc. is definitely a core memory. I also had my first job at Spirit Halloween, so it hits home! This location seems to be fading fast. The store is barely visible these days, and I'm not sure how much longer it will be around. On my last visit, the shelves were extremely scarce and the overall store felt neglected. Overall, my visit to the last party city was pretty quiet with more than a few team members standing around, tying to look busy. read more

Party city is the go to when you need themed items and they have a lot of bakeware and hard to find color coordinated items. I went for 21st birthday de orators items which sadly, they had very little at this location. I went on 10/15, and the line was so long in the evening due to upcoming Halloween that I left to return the next day at lunch time. The line was shorter and even though there is a helium shortage I was able to get "21l balloons. The staff leaves a little to be desired. I put my items down on the one side of the register because it was unclear where to put them and the cashier said "I can take you on this other side"...she couldn't lift my few tiny items so I had to. Make a little effort. It would be nice to have fairly decent costumer service. read more

Party City is your one stop shop for Halloween, they have whatever you can imagine, and a few things you can't too! This is my first stop when looking for costuming. They are very efficient during Hallowwen season, you can tell this is what they train for all year. The only downside is that if you wait too long your first choices and/or sizes could be gone. Huge store, nicely organized, things are easy to find. Sales associates are helpful and knowlagable. Their party supples are very nice and reasonably priced. Like I said, one stop shop. I love their selection of goods especially the costume items that are perfect for dress up days that don't fall around Halloween. I prefer to shop on Amazon but sometimes I need something immediately. They have everything you could dream of for all of the popular party themes and items come in a rainbow of colors. You need balloons? They have them by the boat full. My problem with them always comes down to customer service. On the the Saturday I came in they had one person ringing people up. The other two people who worked there were filling up an endless amount of balloons. They never have enough registers open and they back up because people purchase a basket full of items. The one register that was opened was backed up by a lady looking for a coupon on her phone. While it is fun to shop here check out always leaves me frustrated. That's why I prefer to stick to Amazon. read more

Party City is the perfect store for unique birthday, and wedding items. Very organized and most of all the staff is amazing considering there is always quite a line to check out. One employee in particular, Victor, went out of his way to assist me in locating items that I could not find on the shelf and checked to see in the back or with a ladder to see in storage above shelves. Employees are working very hard and like everywhere else things sell off the shelves quickly but I certainly appreciate all the effort and will keep shopping at this store. Thank you. read more

Who doesn't love a party city. Just walking in makes you want to plan a party. I came here to get some gear and was a tiny bit disappointed by the amount of items that were out of stock. I managed to find some other things i could use, even though i had my heart set on those items that weren't there. The store is clean and well kept. I went on a week day around 12ish i believe. It wasn't rush hour but i found myself waiting really long on the line even though there were 2 registers opened and only 3 of us in line. One had a lady deciding what balloon she wanted while the cashier couldn't be bothered by how long she "ummmmmmed" to offer help, the other seemed to be too taken up with bags and random items. The line behind me started to get filled up but everyone was pretty good about it, just kinda looking on in annoyance but remained patient. That is until a man said something (like hey what's the holdup?) Then both cashiers snapped out of it and in no time everyone was cashed out. Go figure. I will be returning, hoping to update my review on better terms as Halloween gets closer. I'm hoping this experience was a one time thing . I was in here tonight standing in the aisle with the wigs when I was suddenly hit on the shoulder by an employee dressed as Gru. He was wearing a large, seemingly metal contraption on his back that dug into my shoulders. When he bumped into me, I instinctively said "sorry" and he just gave me a nasty look and walked away. No apology even though he realized he hit me. I will never be back here if this is how employees behave. read more

This place needs more employees!! What's the use in having a great store full of quality product if it takes you half an hour to did through the bins looking for trinkets to go in 10 kids doody bags!! And I'm not that young, so all that leaning over searching and searching for matching Spider-Man prizes made my back hurt so I gave up! All the toys/stuff were not where they were suppose to be in the labeled bins. So frustrating. Then the line was long. One cashier. And they looked so unhappy. Also, people kept coming in for balloons but the employee said they were out of helium!! Please get some help for the sake of the customers and workers. read more

Party City has cornered the market on party supplies and all that goes with it. I went in last week for a costume appropriate for RenFest. I found an item but at this time of year, there are only a few Halloween leftovers. I made my purchase knowing it wasn't a complete outfit but hoped it could be a base with a few of my treasures at home. It didn't quite work out and I found a great dress online so off I go to return. I was very happy to find someone at the counter but on arrival she told me she cannot do returns and had to call someone else. He wasn't far but both appeared to have an attention issue and addressed other paperwork while I stood there. As a customer, I definitely didn't feel important to them. I went in and needed to get balloons for our gender reveal. Unfortunately they were out of helium that day but one of the managers was so kind to help and create a design with normal air balloons and it worked so perfect! I really appreciated the time taken to help by him (I think his name was Juan but I'm not positive) and our gender reveal balloons were beyond perfect! Customer service is poor at this location. I was literally walking around trying to find someone to assist me with finding the items I went to purchase but there was no one in sight. Not many staff people work here on weekdays and not much things are in stock. Some things they need to restock. I don't like when they don't have the simple things in stock like a black mask. The other closest party city is lauderhill for me, I do not want to go out far for just one mask. Luckily I found a solution; buy another color mask and painted it black. They don have that many masquerade masks so you probably have to buy regular basic mask and decorate it. When I do ask questions, they do answered back nicely. So that's the positive side. There is variety of things and instock if you're have a regular (no theme) birthday party and variety of balloons. Since its May, there are a lot of graduation things so come here if you're having graduation party. On the side of the place, there are some clearance that are buy one & get one free. Nice to see what's in the clearance and can save even more money. read more

I think this location closed. I stopped by there yesterday to buy some party supplies and there was construction going on...and when I asked one of the men working if the store was going to re-open he said no. I then tried to call the store and there was no recording...it just rang and rang. What a shame! read more

Understaffed. On a friday a party supply should have staff to handle weekend customers! Kudos to the two nice employees that were at the register and balloon station! They stayed friendly and helpful . Management needs to schedule with customers time and needs in mind. Avoid this one during halloween. read more

Terrible experience!45 mins in line for buying a couple of items. This place is seriously under staffed and management seems to not care about it: 1 cashier only and the 2 other employees were filling balloons. I came here 2 weeks ago and the situation was similar, it's unfortunate as they have a great selection but the time investment it's not worth it. I am not coming back if I can help it. read more

This party city had a lot to chose from and very organized. But The door that led to the back room which had the bathroom had no sign. Bathroom was disgusting. I worked at a party city in Boca years ago and we where never able to leave our bathroom in such poor shape. Also the line was so long I ended up not purchasing what I went for. read more

Party City pretty much has everything you need for a party, a get together, for dressing up or if you need props for some sort of themed activity. I have bought halloween costumes here, outfits for Santacon, balloons, party favors, tiaras and all kinds of other essentials. If you are getting a LOT of balloons be prepared to wait a little bit though. One HUGE thing i love about this store is that they sell mini candies for a lot less (5 for a dollar) so I don't have to buy a bag of 3000 mini York Peppermint Patties to satisfy a little craving that I may be having. read more
