This was my first time at this location, and I was kind of disappointed. They have plenty of balloons, candy and Halloween costumes, but that's not what I was looking for. They had a very small selection for wedding decorations. They have a big sign with about a inch or two with decorations. I just happened to be in the area, and decided to come to this location. I went in for last minute party supplies and found everything I needed. Tablecloths, balloons, party signs, banners and more. I was pleasantly surprised with how fast they were able to get the balloons blown up. Not a long wait at all and they were very organized. The staff was attentive and polite. This Party City also had a cold cooler for wine and other light alcohol beverages. That must save a lot of customers from making additional last minute pit stops. read more

I tend to leave ALL my shopping until the last minute, so when I had to pick up a Halloween costume for that same Saturday night I looked for the Party City closest to where I was having brunch. Located right near the main entrance to Oakwood Plaza, I stopped here because I found parking by them instead of the other Halloween popup store. Similar to a Chinese restaurant, you order your main costume by the numbers. They have a wall display of costumes, you pick your number and go to another window by the dressing room to try it. The clerks were nice enough to let me try two different ones and weren't rushing when I was debating with friends on which one to rock. The store is functionally clean, as was the dressing room. They also have a few accessories to add to your costume. I was supposed to be a Hypno Vampire for which I bought a faux gold spinning pendant. However, that broke barely an hour into the party which is why I'm only leaving 3 stars. read more

With everything that is going on party city has a cool feature where you can get curbside pick up for your items. I bought the large number balloons for a birthday and swung there to pick them up. While the curbside pick up is nice in theory they were simply understaffed to work it properly. The directions tell you to pull into a curbside parking space, call the store number with your order number, tell them your vehicle, and someone will come and out your items into the car. I called the number and after ringing for 5 minutes with no answer I hung up. I waited another 5 minutes and called back. The woman who picked up seemed very flustered. Didn't ask for my order number just asked what I ordered and told me to pull up to the front of the door and she would bring it out. I was annoyed when she brought the balloons out to learn that they don't come with the weights to weigh them down. Also when buying in the site there isn't a prompt or anything to buy them or I would have. 26 dollars for two balloons, you would think they would come with it. Anyway I asked the woman if I could get them. Her response was you have to come in but there's a long line, I don't know if you want to. Considering I needed the weights I had to. Waited in line for 20 minutes to buy two weights. Overall not a very pleasant experience. They need more staff or more staff scheduled appropriately. read more

After unsuccessfully making a costume purchase at Halloween City across the street, I was hoping for a better result here. They still got their regular party related items like party cups, plate, utensil and balloons...etc, they also got a section in the back corner for Halloween theme items. I initially walked straight to the back wall and find a small section of masks and costumes. Surprisingly, they do have a section dedicated to the circus theme. Wow! I hit the jackpot I thought. However, the selection turned out to be just "Clown" section. Yes, I can only find clown costumes and that's about it. But I really don't want to be a clown this year....I think my fear of clowns may have something to do with it Then I started walking toward the wall on the left side, and I found a wall full of pictures of costumes with the item number. This actually made the purchase very simple! All you have to do is go through the pictures of costumes on the wall, pick out the one you like, tell the store staff the item number of the costume you want, and you can pick it up in the back. Also, you get to go into the fitting room and try it out for size. Luckily, I did manage to find a costume I like, and it's not a clown. Cant tell you what I got because I don't want to ruin the surprise. But I appreciate the friendliness of the staff in this store, and how quickly I can pick up my costume and go. And, I saw a few same exact costumes they sell here cheaper than Halloween City across the street. So their price is very competitive. For items I only purchase once a year, it's a good deal. read more

If you need a quick Halloween costume this is the place. Lots of choice even if you wait until the eleventh hour the night before the big day. After I looked over everything I got on a huge line that wrapped around one of the aisles. They had all the registers open so it wasn't too bad looked worse than it was. So when it isn't Halloween this is the place to come for party supplies. Color coordinated and truly one stop shopping. Especially for balloons and you can buy a small helium tank and blow them up yourself at home. Prices aren't cheap nor is their any service provide or help for that matter. Outstanding customer service!!! I wanted to say that savahna it's a great asset to this store. While trying to get some birthday balloons for my wife. savannah asked in detail what was I looking for and used her phone to show me the different types of balloons and what people choose. While helping me out she made sure she was also assisting others co-worker and customers with different questions about balloons. She finally said not to leave the balloons in the car and if there was any issues with them just to bring them back for a replacement. Kudos to savahna and management of this store read more

Terrible customer service. I was ignored for the first 15 minutes of standing at the counter. And then when I asked to get balloons I was rudely pointed to the front counter to order them. After cashing out and ordering them and waiting in line for another 10 minutes, she says that she never rang me out for the balloon and needs to re-ring the sale. I ended up leaving. I just wasted 45 minutes here and left with nothing that I needed. You've got to start caring about your customers. read more

Party City needs to have a policy for what to do when a potential customer calls looking for a selected item. It definitely shows a lack of training or enthusiasm or both when you're told a theme isn't available when it is. One might think that the theme is not that important, just choose one and move.on. Sometimes people get an idea in their head and it is extremely important to have that particular theme, and saying that it is not available when it is because you didn't want to walk down an isle and look could be crushing a little child's dream, or the parents' dream as we know all about vicarious living. Plates are not cheap and when one is paying for themed plates, one wants to get a particular one, it is almost better off going cheaper with colors that match but do not have a theme than purchasing a theme that you don't want. read more

This is the worst Party City I have ever been to. First of all on multiple sites there hours are incorrect so do not rely on what you find online. The doors open at 9:30 most mornings and it seems the staff arrives minutes before the doors open. If you order pick up orders be prepared to wait 30 minutes past your pick up time because they are mismanaged and understaffed, and they don't even have the courtesy to call you OR answer their phone to notify you that they are running behind. read more

Her customer service skills are above outstanding and her patience and her willingness to help were just refreshing! She truly went above and beyond to help and that's rare these days and with a smile on her face the entire time. Helping me navigate over the phone as I tried to place the online order with specifications and making the pick-up and delivery seamingless! This location has to be the worst on terms of stocking shelves and customer service. My latest trip confirmed just that. I needed a few items for a fiesta I was having. Yes, I waited until the day of the event but when I arrived it looked like the entire store had been robbed! Literally nothing on the shelves except in the kiddie aisles. Wtf? I asked an employee and she said they boxed the entire store to prep for Halloween. Seriously? She suggested I order my items online and ship them to the store but that would not work. I needed them NOW! She showed me a small donkey pinata that wasn't boxed but that wasn't what I needed. I asked about going to another location but she said "all Party City's are packed up" I mean I know that Halloween is a huge revenue boost for them but to box their entire store is ludicrous. I stepped outside made a phone call and walked back in to a line of people and a man and a woman (2 separate customers) yelling at the manager. It was insane... probably upset that the whole store was boxed! I inquired if they had any taco or margarita balloons- NOPE out of the 100s of balloons that adorned the walls those were boxed up too! I know I waited until the last minute but it's not like I waited until Cinco De Mayo to look for the items- it's mid August! read more
