When l went there with my sister food and service were great Have no car would like to retire do they have delivery?

One of the rudest workers I've ever encountered. He was so nasty and condensing. I don't know if he was the owner, or not, but you can not be in the service industry and behave in that manner. Although I don't understand why, my husband LOVES party house cakes! This morning I called them to order a cake! (I know it wouldn't/couldn't be custom made since it was just a couple of hours notice! I was ok with that)! The girl said that their premade cakes had pink or purple on them. I asked if they had anything a little bit more masculine! She stated that they had a blue flower one! I agreed to that and said I would pick it up after 1:00pm. At 3:15, I entered to business and this nice young man asked if he could help me! I told him I was there to pick up a cake for Debbie! He brought it to me, opened it up to let me look at it! . Now, this is a BIRTHDAY cake! I told him that wasn't what the girl,Maddie, described to me! The "man" that was decorating cakes interrupted the conversation and said that I had ordered a plain cake with "Happy Birthday Darrell". . When I told him that this was ugly and looked like a baby boy shower cake, he said "that's what you wanted"!!!!!!! I informed him that this happens EVERY time I order a cake from them....usually, it's the wrong name! He said "he didn't need customers like me" and that "he didn't need my business". He had enough of them! So.....what are your thoughts about this cake? FYI.....the piping is baby blue! read more

Their premade Cakes are delicious, definitely would buy. I tried some pastries and they were filled with the same cake icing and overly sweet. The cream horn was not authentic. Premade shell they bought that was not a light, flaky type. Icing was heavy cake icing and not authentic. I didn't buy anymore pastries, but would buy their existing cakes. I guess customers are just used to the existing icing used in many of the pastries. Ladies working were polite & helpful. read more

I've had cake from here that was delicious. I've always wanted to get my mom a bday cake from here. Excitedly I drove here (I live in Harrisburg) and unfortunately my experience was underwhelming. There was someone being served when I walked in so I patiently checked out the goodies while waiting. About 7 minutes later after that persons transaction was complete, the woman who had walked up about a minute prior was not only greeted but asked to place her order. Honestly, today was not the day for me to fight that battle. I pointedly looked at the other workers behind the counter and walked out. No one said a word but watched me walk out the door. I was looking forward to posting my review and pictures before I even drove up but it was not the experience I was hoping for. read more

VERY RUDE AND RACIST. The man was very nasty. I am assuming he was the owner. The other staff were nice and actually felt bad about how I was treated. They made the wrong cake for me and he told me "take it or leave it" because he is going on vacation. I will NEVER be back. read more

We ordered my daughters birthday cake but did not ger what we ordered paid 47 dollars for something we didnt order when we calles them thethey said it wasent their problem and what is sad her birthday was today they said they would refund me all i had to do was bring back the cake then my daughter would not have a cake at all they were very rude and didnt care one way on another will never go there again read more

I always go here for the birthday cakes. They have the best icing. I also really like the wedding cookies and cream horns. . I have tried other sweets from time to time. But I have found that the other types of cookies actually taste like grocery store ones. Not good. read more

My family placed an order for a cake to reveal the gender of my sister's twins in front of all our family and friends. The order was placed 4 days prior to the pickup date, giving them plenty of time to create the cake we desired. The cake was ready on time, however it looked horrendous. This was not a complicated order, a simple two layer cake with polka dots and piping. Everything about the cake looked rushed and sloppy, a professional cake decorator couldn't have had anything to do with it. It was terrible and it looked nothing like the picture we had dropped off, we were assured it wasn't even our cake. When we complained we were informed that the decorator was off for the day and we were not offered any other solution, leaving us to find a way to fix it on our own. This is a bakery that has been used for years by our family and this is the worst experience that we have ever had. We will never use this company ever again. read more

I typically don't do reviews, but I felt compelled to do this one. My boyfriend went in to order a birthday cake for his son, the total was $19.80, my boyfriend jokingly said that was the year I was born, the guy behind the counter said no way you were born in 1980, my boyfriend said pretty close I was born in 1977, the guy proceeds to say your the oldest looking 40 year old I have ever seen, you must have lived a hard life, then the woman there proceeds to chime in with smart/rude comments. So he goes in today to pick up the cake and as soon as he walks in the guy says to the woman, look there's the guy who must of been drinking beers instead of playing on the playground (something like that). We haven't tasted the cake yet, but I assure you, we will never order anything from here again, to treat a paying customer this way is rude and hurtful. I pray no one ever treats you or a family member the way you treated him. read more

The best cake I have ever had! I have never had a bad one from there. Their icing isn't too sweet, but it's not bland either. I would definitely recommend it to anyone! Anytime we need to get a cake, my family and I always go to party house. I haven't had their BBQ yet, but I definitely plan on trying it soon. read more

I was very disappointed with the german chocolate cake that turned out to be just a devil foods cake with a little pecan and coconut frosting on the top. Will never buy another one from there. read more
