This has to be the worst party supply store ever!!! I swung by this place to grab a few little candies with my sister. I purchased a package of Aldama wafers con cajeta. And she purchased a box of De La Rosas and a package of the Aldama wafers too. When I returned home and remembered about the little goodies I bought, I opened up the package of candies to only realize that they were covered in Maggot eggs as well as live maggots crawling inside the candy package. I called the store up right away so they could pull and check the other packages of candies. But instead of me getting a response like "I'm sorry" or "bring them back & we'll exchange them for you" I got a response where I was pretty much called a liar!!!!! Because the lady said "yeah, I remember you because I was the one who sold them to you, and there were no worms in them when I sold them too you. So I don't believe it! And I'm the one who puts the candies out on the shelves and I check them!" And click!!! She hung up on me!!! Well guess what you stupid lady you missed a package!!!!! I walked in on a Saturday looking for a specific pinata. We asked lady we like this one. She gave us price said it was missing some pieces but that it would be ready later that day. She walked away and never came back to us to help us. We had additional question. After about 5 minutes hoping she would come back we went to look for her telling her we wanted to order one. Well we placed order but lucky for us we didn't pay that day. So instead of going same day not to rush I went back on Tuesday THINKING pinata would be ready. I show up and she looks at me saying it's not ready that it would be ready in a couple of hours and looked away and didn't even bother to apologize for the inconvenience of making my way back to store. So let's say never again will I go to this rude as place. Looks nasty and dirty anyway. There are far too many other party places to go to so be sure to go else where and DONT give this place a try unless you like rude customer service. I didn't want to drive to Downtown LA and since this place was convenient i figured why not, i was looking for table linens. The place was dark and crowded, a lady asked me what i need and i told her tale linens she asked me if i was there to rent or buy, I confirmed I was there to buy and said they're 5 dollars, but let me confirm. She walks away and i can hear her talking to some other lady and the lady tells her $12.99. She never came back to tell me the price, I had to go look for her, some other older lady asked me if I was there for the table linens and I say yes and tells me $16.99. I told her that i had heard her tell the other woman they were $12.99 and her reply was "this is my store". I'll take my business some where else any day. read more

We rented from this place for a few years now for tables and chairs and tents for our occasional parties in the backyard. This year marked the last year we will be renting from this place. It's not price. It is because of their complete lie-through-their teeth attitude to their customers. We order 45 chairs and they delivered 43 chairs. The delivery person promised to return quickly for the 2 chairs. Hours later we called them to inquire about the MIA delivery and was told "he will be back shortly for the delivery." Well, almost 3 hours later we called again and was told "the delivery person is really busy so he can't make it. We will refund you the money tomorrow when he comes over for pickup." Hmm... is there a pattern there? Yes! You guess it right. Next day the delivery person showed up to pick up. First he told my sister that he already gave me the money. Then he told me that he didn't carry money. When I called them on the phone, the person on the phone said "I will drive right now to give you the money." And I was dumb enough to believe him! Needless to say, hours later no one showed up or anything... To vent, I'm writing this review on Yelp, although probably not very effective considering their customer base around the neck of the woods. BUT - it's better to voice my opinion so it's on the web and everyone knows of our experience. Hope you don't even go there so you don't have to go through the same experience. read more
