I've always liked visiting Mountain View because how beautiful it is especially being so close to the mountains I think Mountain View represents the community ideally Elizabeth helped me last month after my mother passed away. She was professional, kind, caring, and followed up on every detail. I can't see enough about how professionally she was and at the same time how much concern she had for our well-being. She also has great knowledge of the cemetery and I enjoyed our conversations. during one of my visits last month I had problems located my grandparents burial site and I had several maintenance people take time to offer to help me find their gravesite. Everyone who works here, cares about the cemetery and seems to take pride in maintaining it. Mountain View has a small town feel about it, unlike some of the larger corporate cemeteries in Southern California. I cannot recommend it enough.

We attended a viewing and memorial services at Cabot & Sons Funeral Home on a Friday evening for a…read moredear family friend. Cabot & Sons have plenty of parking available for guests. They have their own parking lot. The establishment is very nice and comforting. The funeral director was very warm and welcoming along with other staff. They were sincere and genuine. They also have a huge dining area with a kitchen in the very back of the building for reception use. Several round tables were laid out here along with buffet tables for food. It was nicely set up. The viewing and memorial service was in the front of the building as you come in on your left side. It was a good size room and plenty of pews for guests. They also had a projector to show videos and photos along with a podium for the speaker. It was the first time we heard of Cabot & Sons Funeral Home. This is also our first visit at Cabot & Sons Funeral Home on Chester St. They did a wonderful job with the viewing and memorial service of our dear family friend.

Problem one: My family bought a memorial property at Glendale cemetery in December 2015 for my grandfather who suddenly passed away. Our family specifically ordered the traditional upright headstone. Chris, an agent worked at the location, promised our family that the headstone would be delivered in about four months. Four months later, he told us the delivery must be postponed due to some government regulation issues. We trusted him and waited nearly a year and finally became suspicious about the situation. We contacted this company, shockingly, an agent informed us that Glendale cemetery NEVER allowed having upright headstones; Furthermore, Chris was no longer working for their company. Upon several negotiations, my family had to go for the flat bronze grave marker, because we did not wish to "disturb" my grandfather. Problem two: Chris, the agent, SPECIFICALLY told us the memorial property was at a corner (because only corner locations can have upright headstone). After the flat grave marker for my grandfather was finally delivered in March 2017, guess what, we found the grave marker was in the middle section! Ironically, as we contact this Arcadia company, the corner property just being sold to another family, and the person was buried recently! All in all, funeral services should be honest, but this Arcadia third company of Forest Lawn is full of lies. Our family would never do business with them ever again!

She will direct you to the cemetery next door. Words can't express how beautiful this building is. The artwork, the peaceful hallways, the stained glass, the lamps and chandeliers. Every part of it is breathtaking. Even our teenagers were impressed by it's beauty and architecture. It's a fascinating building and the woman working in the office was so kind. Give yourself time to look around. It's absolutely worth the trip!
