    Orange Roughy & Fries

Bro was craving Fish n Chips so looked up what was available. Found Pasadena Fish Market interesting and decided to give it a try. The menu is not cluttered, very straightforward offering some great Jamaican Food. Now, the only Jamaican Food I ever had was Jerk Chicken and it wasn't at a legit Jamaican Restaurant. Service is very good, friendly and attentive. This is a mom and pop shop and what they do, they do well. Bro had Orange Roughy and Fries, I had the Oxtail Lunch with Fries and Slaw. The Fish n Chips according to my bro was extremely delicious, lightly coated and fried. My oxtail was tender and delicious. Slaw a bit too much mayo for me, but still delicious. The ambiance was very much like a Fish Market. It's pretty much a To Go spot. There is a lone table if you want to eat inside. Can't wait to come back for some real Jerk Chicken and Fried Okra! This place is delicious Mon!

A nice fish market offering lots of fresh seafood and Jamaican cuisine. The fish are very fresh and cooked to order. They are mainly takeout and only have a single table in the corner for dining in. The Tilapia was delicious and not fishy at all. The Jamaican curried goat was also very tasty and satisfying. The owners are friendly and welcoming. Best to order ahead and takeout, since they cook things to order it can take around 15 minutes.

Fried Shrimp Plate with Coleslaw and Fries. Added Collard Greens and Yams. Everything delicious!

Pasadena Fish Market has a nice variety of seafood lunch specials; and combos. In addition, fresh Seafood/pre-cleaned chitterlings can be purchased by the pound. This place is not fancy, TAKEOUT only, no-frills; A southern style seafood/Jamaican spot run by a nice family for decades. I came here for the oxtail plate and it was mighty delicious! Pro tip: Locals call in their food order to save time. Otherwise the WAIT time for your order takes a while - it's a busy spot! -Parking: Side private lot or street parking (no meter). -Payment: Cash/Card. - CLOSED on SUNDAYS.

The best Jamaican food is SoCal!! I love this market because always have friendly services, the great food, a minimal wait time, and portion is huge. I love to come to this market. I ordered, a curry goat lunch with steamed rice and cabbage, a beef patty & a lemon cake. This place always remind me of the Jamaican food I used to order in NYC. I definitely recommend this market. Two thumbs up!!

A lot fried yummy goodness along with indulgent sides - reminded us of our time back in DC. Lots of options to choose from - didn't realize how many types of fish they offer until we stepped inside to pick up our phone in order. Def need make another trip back to sample more of the menu!

Great food. Oxtail was so good. Service was great. No complaints. Ambience was okay but food made up for it.

One of my favorite things to get at Fish King is the plate with the swordfish skewers. This dish is honestly so unique, and I haven't found anything like it anywhere else. It's basically two shish-kebab style sticks of seasoned swordfish, peppers, and tomatoes, and it's served with a few sides in addition to fried veggies and shrimp. I also really enjoy their tacos. They also have very generous servings of poke (I personally don't get the poke from here because it's already mixed in with raw onions and I don't like raw onion). Prices are all very reasonable--the swordfish plate I mentioned earlier is around $15 and a pretty large amount of food. Fish King does get pretty busy especially around mealtimes so it's better to order in advance and pick up so that you don't have to wait around as long. I think if you order in person, you can expect a 20-30 min wait when it's busy. There's a small lot on the side of the market and sometimes you can find street parking too. There are some tables on both ends of the market so you can dine in, it's very casual.

The staff here are generally friendly and very helpful, and work hard to get you what you want.
