The shrimp (with head on) is soooo good ! We ordered mild spicy and the sauce was just so delicious !! We ordered to-go, but they do have a small number of tables and chairs in front of their truck for those who want to eat there. They gave us our entire order correct, it came with bibs, limes and double bagged. The side of corn on the cob was so good. I wish we ordered more! The girls who run this truck stay busy but their service is good. They are busy so the food may take about 10-15 min to come out, but it's worth it! Food ? I got oyster at night so maybe no bueno at that time we went there.Service is good they gave us free food cause somebody didn't pick up their order .they have Cajun shrimp like boiling crab. I don't think wanna eat with my hands out door tho. I hate wasting food but oyster went straight to trash .. Came here around 8:30p maybe the oyster is not good anymore at that time. Me and my girlfriend were looking for shrimp bags but our usual favorite place is located allllll the way in West Covina. We live in Pasadena and we ended up finding out about hot Shrimp Mami as soon as we found it, we called in and placed an order. We got the shrimps , the crab legs , fries and tenders. EVERYTHING was amazing 10/10 but keeping it 100 when I say the tenders were alright I feel like they could be better. But beside that everything was amazing. My girlfriend is happy that we found a place that's close to home. The fries were fire but please let's find bigger and fatter tenders. Everything had a really good flavor. The service was fast, called in my order n by the time I made it there my order was ready. Came across this truck in pasadena. I loved that the ambiance is great being a mom of 4 kids! They have this area where you can sit under a nice shaded tree. The employees are really nice and seem to take time to make sure you are comfortable and well served. We got a platter with basically everything on the menu. The sauce is sooooooooooo goood! I have mixed feelings about this establishment. I've been here a couple times and I initially really liked it because it convenient and relatively cheap. the sauce is okay, it's thin(very oily)and more on the salty side. It is cash only so that kinda sucks. But i feel like whenever I order a pound, they don't actually give me a pound... i definitely felt a little bit skimmed or maybe their pounds worth aren't like others..idk.. The service is nice, and I'm pretty sure it's women owned so that's great! Today I ordered a pound of muscles again and paid extra for my potatoes and be time i got home I realized they didn't give them to me. I called twice no answer so I couldn't even let them know. Got 1lb snow crab, 4 corn & potatoes, order of fries, & fish n chips. Fish n chips were good, fries were basic frozen then fried seasoned fries, so it was fine & crispy. Now the snow crab, , shells was super soft & rubbery, couldn't break it open, had to get kitchen sheers & inside was pretty hollow & meat a bit mushy (sign of overcooking). Owner is super friendly and they make sure everything is good and to see if you need anything. They just started making fresas con crema and those are amazing as well. The fish and chips were disappointing, I could tell they use premade frozen battered fish. Ceviche was super bland tasted like nothing.
