    Hawaiian Fried Shrimp

This was my first time here so the review just for the Hawaiian Fried Shrimp, but it was definitely five stars. Crispy panko coating fried up just right. Very clean interior with four tables.

    Katsu plate

The Katsu was perfectly crisp on the outside and tender inside. Flavorful, not greasy, and paired well with the sauce--comfort food done right. Love supporting the local mom and pop shops. We will definitely be back soon.

The location is rather hidden in the corner of this mini mall and is right in the southwest corner. There are a couple of bar tables and some more dining tables for about 15 people or so. The portions are large and tasty with the right amount of sauce and fixings.

My favorite Hawaiian dish is the Loco Moco so when I found it they serve it here then I had to try it. The meal comes with two meat patties over chopped cabbage, gravy, two fried eggs, sticky rice, and macaroni salad. The food was delicious as everything had good flavor and seasoning. The only thing I would change is that the patties would be over the bed of rice and not the cabbage.

Best spam musubis! I've been to Hawaii twice recently and these are still the best ones. I've also gotten the Kalua Pork and Loco Moco and I highly recommend them. I also loveee the mac salad they give here.

Their spam musubi is fast, cheap and delicious, which is a difficult combo to find in S Pas. And the owners are super nice!

The hostess seated us right away since we arrived before the lunch crowd. We went with a party of four and were seated in a booth next to the bar. Our server was also the bartender. He greeted us right away, and when I asked for recommendations, he was spot on with his suggestions for everyone. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich with fries and a side of potato salad. The chicken was moist, crispy, and full of flavor. I really loved the fries they were perfectly seasoned with a nice crunch. The potato salad was delicious, too. It had fresh dill, which gave it great flavor and texture. One of my friends ordered the catfish and chips, and I got to try a bite. Just like my chicken sandwich, it was crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. I don't usually eat fish, but it was surprisingly delicious. Another person in our group ordered the fried catfish sandwich, and the last meal was the baby back ribs with mac & cheese and mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes were creamy with the perfect texture, and the mac & cheese was rich and delicious. The baby back ribs were incredibly moist, flavorful, and fall off the bone good. I will definitely be back for lunch. The atmosphere was lively, with sports playing on the TVs, and the Dodgers game made it even more fun. Overall, we had a great experience, and I'll definitely be back again soon.

What's even crazier is that I've been a diehard bone-in/traditional wings believer, but bb.q Chicken's boneless wings converted me to the dark side. In fact, I will shamelessly admit that I only ever order their boneless wings here after having tried them. Unlike other places' boneless wings, which use dry white meat (an absolute abomination IMHO), bb.q Chicken uses actual dark meat and are actual "boneless wings." The Cheesling flavor is to die for. Get the limited time Buldak Cheesling flavor for a special spicy kick. If you want an alcoholic drink with your chicken, I suggest sticking with beer or bottled soju. Their soju cocktails are pretty weak and have a strange pre-mixed flavor to them.

I love how sturdy the packaging is, it comes neatly packed in cute cardboard boxes. The food is always consistent, and I have never had a bad experience. My go to flavors are: Spicy original-- crispy crunchy with a hint of spice Cheesling--- A dry rub nicely dusted with their house cheese powder and a hint of sweetness. Gangnam style-- Wet seasoning with a savory and sweet soy forward taste, with a strong pepper flavor. You'll also get pickeled radish cubes, which provides a refreshing compliment to the strong flavors of the chicken. This place never disappoints.

This was my first time at the Pasadena location, although I've been to several of their other spots around the Greater LA area. I actually expected parking to be easier here, but somehow Pasadena's parking policies felt even more frustrating than LA's. It took us a while to find a decent spot on a Sunday, so keep that in mind if you're planning to visit We decided to go with the AYCE menu instead of just ordering from the happy hour menu. We also grabbed the $2.50 Kirin beer, which is an amazing deal. I only wish we had noticed it earlier--we ended up ordering it after dinner! Still, good beer is good beer, and I really liked the design of the beer cup As usual, the meat quality was solid. It's not the highest-end yakiniku you'll find, but it's definitely a step above your average KBBQ spot. The marinades are flavorful, although a few of the meats were a little on the salty side. My favorite items were definitely the garlic shrimp and the cold tofu. We did run into an issue with our first grill flaring up, so we had to move to another table, but everything was smooth after that. Pro tip: try not to overload the grill--it definitely helps keep things under control Service was another highlight. I really appreciated that the staff would jump in to help even if you weren't assigned to their section. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and attentive. Even during busy moments when things slowed down a bit, they always made sure our orders made it to the table With upbeat music playing in the background and the lively atmosphere you'd expect from a yakiniku restaurant, it's a great place to enjoy good food, hang out with friends, and grab a few drinks. Just be prepared to spend a little extra time finding parking!
