First time at this small local coffee shop and it wont be my last. As soon as i entered i knew i liked this place. Warm ambiance, busy but not noisy with most tables taken by a younger crowd and food on the menu. There are also comfortable chairs to sit in a small group. I ordered the Masala Chai latte to go. You never know what your chai tea will taste like as i've had really good luck and also not so good. I like mine spicy and that's what i got! a very wonderful, slightly sweet spicy latte. Thank you! This was my second visit to The Little Coffee Shop, and it did not disappoint. There is ample parking lot in the strip mall, and this coffee spot occupies one of the corner units. There are a few tables outside as well as tables and lounge chair, chairs inside. The decor is modern and comfy, with the idea that you'll probably want to relax and enjoy your food and drinks there rather than simply take it to go. The coffee drinks I've had here have been served perfectly. I ordered the shakshuka, and it was incredibly delicious. It came out piping hot in a cast-iron pan. The tomato sauce was rich and paired perfectly with the fried eggs and cheese. I was so happy that they provided crusty bread so you could scoop up all the remaining sauce. This is not a dish that you find at most breakfast places, and so I am pleased that they have this unique offering. This dish alone is worth a return trip soon. I also got an arepa to go. When I've had them from other places, I've found them to be too salty for my taste. This one had a delicate balance, and the cheese was rich. This place is always busy when I've driven by. Various types of wood decor throughout the cafe producing a warm ambiance as soon as you enter. Ordered a Gia 360F blend espresso from the barista Melissa. The presentation of the espresso was unique. The small shot glass of espresso next to a seltzer water on a piece of jagged wood. Melissa explained that you take care swig of the water to clean your palate before taking that first sip of the espresso to really embrace the flavor. Being a self proclaimed expert coffee connoisseur, it was odd that this process was never brought to my attention until now. The dark roasted coffee was strong with and excellent aroma. In the mood for an espresso from the Little Coffee Shop. Been only once before to their Coral Springs store but this will be my first visit at this one. The manager was outgoing and helpful when my hubby ordered the Gia espresso. Surprised that the espresso was in a tiny glass equal to the amount of actual coffee. Most of the cafes have a small espresso presented to customers in a medium sized paper cup. They provide a glass of seltzer water to cleanse your taste buds before drinking the espresso which is very rare and thoughtful. Such a great space with a lot of open space and natural light pouring in, my fav kind of atmosphere to work in. They have community tables, and some other smaller seated tables. Their menu is extensive and the service was friendly. I ended up ordering a hibiscus tea because I was past my caffeine limit for the day. It came out fast and tasted good. The wifi was reliable and it looked like this was a pretty common spot for people to work from with a few other people doing the same. What a find! After a nice bike ride around the Pompano Beach Airpark I suggested we stop in at this gem of a coffee shop, not knowing what a true GEM it is! The decor is adorable & inviting. The drink and food menu enticing as can be (I must return to try more of their delicious sounding food and drink!). I went for a chicken arepa with cotija cheese that arrived brimming with fresh & flavorful pulled chicken with just the right amount of cotija to accent the authentic flavors. My husband opted for the breakfast sandwich and it did not disappoint. Plenty of tasty slivered ham was packed into his sandwich and it was devoured in record time. His vanilla latte with almond milk is the best he has ever enjoyed he told me. While I marveled at the gentle spiciness of my masala chai! It arrived made with care and the barista took the time to explain what made it so delicious. Our first visit to this little coffee shop was a pleasant surprise. My husband tried the dark mocha, I had the light mocha, and our son ordered a vanilla frappe. The breakfast sandwich was impressively fresh, tasty, and a good size. There was a small mishap with our son's drink--it came with coffee, which we didn't expect--but the barista was incredibly kind and quickly offered to remake it without coffee. The coffee drinks struck the perfect balance between coffee and sweetness, surpassing those from the major chains. We'd definitely return to explore more of their menu options. read more

We had a very good lunch here... made even better by running into Fort Lauderdale intern Bryn! It's a small coffee shop located on the east side of Federal Highway. Inside, are comfortable seats either in a small living room grouping or against the south wall. Pillows are provided for comfort. You order at the counter and they bring your food and drinks to you. They also do a lot of takeout... We both ordered a sandwich and an iced coffee. I got their chicken pesto sandwich. There was a really generous amount of white meat chicken breast topped with green basil pesto sauce on a too large to eat in one sitting sandwich. The bread was lightly toasted. I took half home for later. My husband got their "french grilled" sandwich. It had brie cheese, bacon, arugula and raspberry jam on a small baguette roll. He also took half of his sandwich home. Later, I got to taste some of his sandwich and really liked it, as well. I'd get both of them again. For a drink, he got a white mocha latte, iced. He said it was wonderful. This charming coffee shop is located in the Park Plaza on Federal Highway in Pompano Beach. The Little Coffee Shoppe was opened by Venezuelan transplants Ronald and Dana Medina who came to the U.S. seven years ago. They opened their first coffee shop in Coral Springs where they were drawn to the family friendly community and the opportunity it provided to serve the community. Their success in Coral Springs has allowed them to expand to Pompano last year. The coffee section of the menu includes craft coffee, frapps, espressos, and lattes made with beans from 360 F Coffee Roasters in Coral Springs. They also offer tea and power greens. The rest of the menu showcases their Latin heritage with arepas, empanadas, tequenos, cachapas, avocado toast, French toast, quesadillas, salads, and desserts. I had previously been to the Coral Springs location. The inside of the Pompano location is very welcoming with tables and chairs and a cozy seating area. For my afternoon pick me up I ordered a chai tea and an almond croissant. The drink was exactly what I was craving and I appreciate that they took the time to warm up the croissant for me. It was fresh with the perfect amount of almond filling encased in buttery pastry. I'd give my cappuccino more than 5 stars if I could. Hands down the best coffee I've had in a long time. My cappuccino was perfect and served piping hot. My table had sugar options and stir sticks on it already which was nice. I'd give the food I got 4 stars as the pancakes were a bit denser than I would've liked, but the flavors were still great. If I had finished them I also would've needed a bit more syrup (but that's easy to ask for). Ordering is done at the counter and food/drinks are brought to your table. Inside is clean and very cute. Such a cute little coffee shop! My fiancé, family, and I recently went to Ft. Lauderdale on vacation where we found this hidden gem. The staff was kind and it was fun to have our coffee in cozy little mugs, contrast to most coffee shops that typically serve the drink to-go. We loved the atmosphere. It had comfy couches to enjoy the time on and had a feel that made me want to bring some work and sit there for hours. I would highly recommend trying it out! Especially the iced americanos. My friend and I are looking for a place to have a meetup with friends, so we tried this place. I ordered just a regular coffee with cream and sugar. After ordering it, they gave me a number to place on my table. Then it was delivered with a cute little glass of cream. The coffee was very good, the service was polite and efficient. We stayed a couple of hours, but we did not feel rushed. The atmosphere was nice and they played relaxing coffee house music. We may choose this place for our meetup but we will try another place in the area first, because of seating constraints.
