I bought a battery in 2/2025. My car wouldn't start 10/25 I took it in and the manager told me it was probably my alternator going up, they charged my battery. I took it to another local shop and they told my my alternator was fine. My car wouldn't start again 12/25, I took it to Pascos again (knowing my 1 year warranty would run out 2/26) I asked for it to be replaced, the clerk agreed and then the manager came over and said nothing was wrong with my battery for it to be replaced, he said something in your car is draining it. In 2/26 my car wouldn't start again so I had to replace my battery and went to AutoZone. The clerk at AutoZone told me he's heard of many stories of bad batteries from Pasco. read more

I recommended Pasco to a friend who thought his car needed a starter. He walked into the place and set up an appointment. When he arrived for the appointment a couple days later, they had no record of it and told him they couldn't work on his car. So he made another appointment. This time they diagnosed the problem as a starter and installed it. About four days later, his car wouldn't start and he spent 4 hrs at a gym waiting for the tow trunk that took it back to Pasco. My past two days... I am just going to relay the facts as they happened and I'm going to let all of you make your own decisions about the business I just dealt with. Back in March I had a new alternator installed by Pasco in Fruitland. On the way home from my second job Thursday my vehicle broke down near Easton. I had to be towed back and that was a nightmare because of the tow company they sent. It was a man and a woman and presumably their very small infant and a great big fuss was made about me having to ride back from Easton in the tow truck. I was asked twice if I had called for a ride home yet by them and not by my auto service company, Better World Club, an ecology centered service that is exactly like AAA. I've had my cars over the years towed a few times but never have I been asked that 50 miles from home. That however it was only the start of the nightmare. I took my vehicle to Pasco and I was given an initial call and told yes it was the alternator. I was given a subsequent call and was told that there was an oil leak onto the alternator and several other components that had to be replaced because of that oil leak. The alternator installed was from Pasco and because of the exterior cause they could not cover the damage. I thoroughly understood that. On Monday, on the phone, I was told It would be approximately a 5-hour job and 1300. I authorized the work. I authorized that work based on what I was told. I waited until 2:00 p.m. today to call. At that point I was subjected to a phone call where the person on the phone, I won't name them but it was a man on loan from another Pasco, basically beat around the bush before finally telling me they had no staff to do a 5-hour job. At no point was I called and told that before having to call them the day the repair was supposed to have been done based on my authorization. Needless to say I was incensed. I was not even giving a referral to someone who could do the work. I understand that people are short-staffed but there is absolutely no reason to falsely represent your business. If you can't do a 5-hour job, you certainly have time for a 3 minute phone call. I could have been called in the morning or at the end of the day yesterday and told I would have to find somewhere else because of the labor shortage there. My very kind neighbor took me over to Pasco to retrieve my vehicle which had been made drivable but the original cause of the second alternator failure had not been addressed because of the time frame. Now, to give them some credit, I was provided a new alternator without charge. I suspect this is because they had realized they could not do the service that they had promised me the day before. Ironically, I would have paid for that alternator based on what I was told previously if they had been dealing with me intelligently and fairly. When I spoke to them face to face at the counter about how poor their service had been, I guess it was because I was a woman, the man who had been on the phone with actually smirked. The blonde woman at the counter didn't look like she cared much either. I saw his expression, that smirk, and so did my neighbor. I made a comment to him about how funny I'm glad he thought the situation was. I hope he thinks it's equally funny when people see this post here and on Yelp and on Google reviews. My vehicle is now at Firestone. Their estimate was $300 less if they have to do the same work. I suspect that they may not. I no longer will go to or trust the word of Pasco for anything. These are just facts. I have witnesses who heard me speaking about the situation at work, texts to my other job telling them the situation before my denial of service, and also my neighbor as a witness. Heidi, The shop Manager is a Great Communicator with vast vehicle knowledge. Heidi always keeps me in the loop on whats going on and helps me understand what I need to know about the repairs and condition of my vehicle. Heidi is great about looking out for deals and making sure you get the best replacement part at the best price. Her Lead Technician Chuck is a Master at fixing things right the first time. There are no shorciuts taken, he is Fast and Efficient.. When they call you and let you know its ready, I feel reassured that the work is done correctly, my family will be safe in our vehicle, and I didnt get destroyed by the bill. I went into the store hoping that I could leave a starter, for rebuild, and return later to pick it up. The clerk said I could buy a new starter cheaper than repairs would be... I have a 1999 Cavalier. He priced it at $85.00. I ask when the starter would be here. The next day it arrived. They clerk called me. I went in to pick the starter up. I left very upset. The bill was $100.04. I ask the clerk "you said yesterday it was $85.00". He responded the freight on the starter would be $10.00. With remaining with taxes...I believe I was mislead on the freight charges... I know the AutoZone, Advance, and O'Reilly's charge you NO freight and no hassell returns..There WAS no customers at the location on either day! I was on a RV trip with a dead starter battery. I had taken it to a dodge dealership and they said the battery was good. But it wasn't so I was a bit perturbed. Deceided to stop at Pasco's and told my wife we'd be lucky to get out in under 2 hours. They took us in immediately and we were out in one and a half hours. Very complicated job with car and house wires all over the place. Mike got it apart and inserted a new 800amp battery and all worked. Expected right. But a hour or so later he called and told me he forgot to tighten a particular nut. I watched the entire procedure and was able to avert future problems. Above and beyond. I have been using Pasco for battery replacements since 2008. They are fast friendly and efficient. They stock a variety of batteries. They charge $18 to install the new (car/truck) battery for you but that ensures that you do not lose radio presets, clock time etc etc. read more

So I've had 2 wonderful experiences with this company that I'd like to share. First was around 2018 or so. I've owned plenty of work vans throughout my career and I had one without working taillights. I brought it to pascoe in fruitland and they fixed the issue quickly for $90. Everything was great til I received a ticket about 2 months later for the same thing. No taillights. I took the van back and they would not even look at it to see whom was at fault without another charge. I ended up paying them a second time to do the exact same thing they did the first time. But make it last. My second issue came when I had a van recently in 2022 that the brake lights stopped working on. I made appt. Brought in van. After 3-4 hours I got a call about the issue. It was taking longer then thought and they wanted to assure I was willing to pay 300-350 for the additional time needed. I said no problem. If you can fix it for 300-350. Do it. A few hours pass and I receive a call to come get the van. When I get there I go right in. Pay for work. Get key. And go out to check it. The brake lights were working but my third top light was not working as a running light or brake light. At that moment I wasn't sure how it worked I just knew it wasn't. So I returned inside where they made me pull the van around. Argued that they never seen the 3rd brake light. And that they only charged me for the lights that they fixed and if I wanted them to fix the 3rd brake light I'd have to pay even more. AND BTW. leave the van again because it's not finished. So all in all. I asked for a 1/3 rebate on the cost. I just paid over 300 and you guys only got 2 of 3 lights working. When I went to school. 2/3 was 66%. And that's a failing grade. The best part was that the "boss" comes down from upstairs and says. "I can diagnose the 3rd light problem for free for you but you'll have to leave it. I'm not sure what else you want sir. We only charged you for the lights we fixed. You never clarified you wanted all of the brake lights. You just said brake lights". So I guess from now on I have to literally say step by step what I need. It's like going to buy a set of tires and the salesman says we have a set right here for 300. You agree and they install them. Only to find out it's only 3 tires. You never asked for 4 sir. You said a set of tires. Oh you wanted a whole set of 4? He's asking me. Oh you want all of your brake lights working? Not just 2 out of 3 of them? What a joke of a place. Needless to say. My recommendation is to take your money elsewhere. read more

Great customer service and reasonable prices. Have used them before for a car battery replacement but today I needed a new battery for a Goalzero Yeti 1250 solar backup generator. Ordered a battery online elsewhere but then saw the hurricane is bearing down on us sooner than I'd receive it so called Pasco and they had one in stock and were quick enough to respond that I was able to cancel the online order. Took the unit in and less than an hour later was called to say it was ready so now I will not lose all my food in the fridge if we have an extended power outage. I bought a alternator from this company for my son in the marines and I finally took back the old alternator to get my core charge of $10 back and they stated they can't do anything for me because I didn't have the box. That makes no sense when it's just an old alternator and it's not from them they could send it back and get $10 for it but they didn't even try to help ...I will be reporting this to the BBB stealing core charges with out reason... read more

Started having what I self-diagnosed as a battery issue for my vehicle. I took it over to Pasco and they provided a free diagnosis to tell me if it was the battery or not. About 45 minutes later I had a new battery and wiper blades at a very reasonable cost with first class service. Was helped as soon as I walked through the door on what seemed like a busy day. This place probably has any battery you are looking for at a good price. The Verizon Store would have charged almost $40.00 for a battery to replace the backup battery in our phone system. You'll know it's time if you start getting the single beep from the unit and the red light is glowing. It usually is just green. Anyway, PASCO had what I needed for $24.95, the nice salesman guy put my old wires on the new battery, said he will make sure my old one gets recycled, and everything is good-to-go. My experience trying to buy replacement batteries online has not gone so well, so this place was a lucky find for me. Thank you PASCO! read more
