    Baleada Pupusa Plátano Relleno

Although the restaurant is inside a mall, the food is top notch. The restaurant is decorated very nice with typical Honduran things and the service was great. The best thing I tried was the baleada with carne asada. The flavor from that dish is unmatched. I will definitely be coming back to this restaurant.

This place is very hole in the wall. I found it at the Mall of the Americas, and the quantity to price ratio is incredible! While I've had tons of baleadas, these are the best I've had, because they sprinkle some crumbled cheese on top of the nata before folding the baleada, and also because the tortillas they make are fire They're not too heavy and very fluffy. Instead of curtido, it comes with onions that have been marinated with spices and some jalapeño, which adds a nice kick. The only reason I'm giving four stars is because the beans were a little dry. Everything else is excellent!

First thing, Yelp has this establishment as "South American Food" get it right Yelp. This establishment serves food from Honduras which would make it "Central America" Food is Amazing.... must try

Hole in a wall place inside Mall of the Americas. Beef soup was delicious. Fried Fish could use a little salt but overall food was good.

So, I've been here a time or two. That was before I was an official Yelper. Had I been an official Yelper before, this place would have more 5 star reviews from me. Yes, the setting sucks. Its located in a drab, run down mall. It sucks that they don't have more foot traffic. But! They themselves have wonderful decor inside the restaurant. It has the feeling of being outside. I like restaurants that are inside but the feel is outside. Kind of messes with your senses. They have a pleasant staff. But you come here for one thing. Drum roll please........... A baleada. Oh my lawd are these things out of this world. Ever have that feeling of being homesick? Eat a baleada. Ever want your belly full and only have five bucks? Eat a baleada. Ever want that comfort food that feeds your soul? Guess what? Eat a baleada. Not just any baleada, but a baleada from here. Large flour tortilla that's really fluffy. Beans. Meat. Cheese. Crema. And if you're feeling like you want to roll out the door, have them cook some eggs in that bad boy. It is by far the best Hispanic comfort food you'll ever eat. If you have to eat a baleada, you have to eat it here.

this place is a hidden gem and much better food than what you'll get from a typical restaurant in a food court. the pupusas and taco tasted great, the flavors were authentic and I enjoyed their hot sauce as well. lost a star because it took awhile for them to prepare the food (they weren't busy) but I have no complaints about the taste and quality.

Some Colombian restaurants rent in places where the lease is absorbed by the paying customer in the charge of food- this is simply not the case here This restaurant is a staple of the area and don't be surprised to walk in and hear patrons greet the staff as if they were regulars because they most certainly are familiar faces I ordered a bone broth to start with grilled steak and rice entrée and finished with a cup of coffee that was brewed to perfection This is the kind of place you go for quality food in a cozy environment Parking is somewhat limited out front, which adds to the exclusivity of it unless you're in a walking distance While I was there, I also noticed a multitude of Mobile dining orders, which lets you know plenty of people want with this place has to offer and after having eaten here today, I can completely see why: great food great staff amazing price points

The girl that answered was super friendly and told me they could have them ready for the time I ordered, which was great!! I got to the location for my pick up and the whole parking situation was a mess. I had to park a bit far, which was more of an inconvenience than an actual problem. Once in there, I went to the counter where there were 3 ladies working. I'm literally in front of them and about 4 minutes went by before any of them even acknowledged my presence. I'm the one that finally spoke up and said "buenas tardes" and they acted as if I had just miraculously appeared in front of them. I find this absolutely shocking, as most Colombian restaurants are so welcoming and polite. I ask for my order and they tell me to wait a moment. About another 5 minutes go by and they bring out my order horribly covered with some aluminum foil. In the car I grabbed an empanada to have a taste and it is all burned inside and out. When I got to my gathering I removed the aluminum foil and about 10 empanadas were in the same badly burned condition. These empanadas cost a little over $2 a piece! I paid $90+!! I understand Saturday was the Colombia game and they must have been swamped, but if you can't provide quality product, don't overwhelm yourself by taking on more than your kitchen can handle. The oil must not have been the right temperature cause the empanadas were extremely greasy. Luckily we were able to place them on some paper towels to soak up the grease and most of them were consumed. Everyone said that the taste was decent, but they were definitely over fried. I have no idea what their food and service is if you dine in, however I highly recommend not ordering out. There's much better Colombian places.

Now they've expanded and while this was my first time at the Flagami spot, it didn't matter one bit. The same delicious food, the same friendly, fast service, and that unmistakable Miami vibe were all still there. I came for what I've always loved: the fried pork chunks (nobody does them better) and the lechón, both full of local flavor and perfectly prepared. Though they offer pastries too, I opted to swing by a bakery separately but it's great to have that variety available in one place. I was in and out very quickly, which is always appreciated when you're just trying to grab something good. The staff behind the counter were just as nice and efficient as I remembered from years ago. If you're in town and craving authentic, hearty Miami eats from meats to juices to fresh fruits this is definitely the place. The only hard part? Choosing just one or two things from their incredible variety.

Before I continue, I must acknowledge my own bias that I have been coming here for decades and many of the dearest celebrations that have been held by friends and family who grew up in this neighborhood took place here; certain family traditions are special. Guests are treated to this Nicaragua restaurant fair with Spanish influence and I have been happy to be coming here for what I can only approximate to be three decades. I also acknowledge that we are familiar faces since money talks and repeat business holds more weight. It's because of that that my family continues to opt to come here. Dinner wouldn't be dinner without an order of fried cheese and a nice Big Daddy Churrrasco steak. We were helped by Frank and German/Hernan and receded and treated kindly and welcoming despite arriving at 9 o'clock on an evening where the restaurant closes at 9:30 PM. Service was top-notch from the entirety of the staff team from the bus to the back way to the head server. I ordered my steak medium, and I am pleasantly surprised to report to the YELP community that arrived exactly as I hold for which is something that a lot of restaurants miss and air on the side of caution by sending it out medium well. I'm not a steak snob or a steak foodie or a steak of fish I'm just a guy who can tell the difference between medium and medium and well and I'm glad that they followed through accurately. The interior feels like an outside Hacienda and there's something comforting about that to me something nice and different in a place where everything has to be chic. I'm just a guy who likes to eat good food and be treated well. Had a nice price point with people I care about this case my immediate family so that's why I'm giving this place five stars.
