We went small group of friends on Saturday night the food was delicious no salted,no over grease , very taste , excellent service. The appetizer are fantastic. They have a singer with music and we have a lot fun the place is small but the food is excellent. I am going to recommend to all my friends and planning to come back next week Thank you / Muchas gracias

    First time here!!!

We visited Sabores Chilenos on a Saturday evening. The restaurant is located in a nondescript shopping mall in Sweetwater Florida. The service was very slow at first but got a little better throughout our meal. The food was acceptable but not delicious. We ordered meat empanadas and they were cold in the center even after returning one of them, the second one was still quite cold. I don't think that we will be going back.

    Congrio with ensalada chilena. (YUM!)

Came back on Sunday. The food was absolutely delicious, the waiter was extremely helpful (we wanted some nomz from the bodega which wasn't available and he went out of his way to make it for us), & space was clean. Coming back for sure.

Amasado con jamon y palta/aguacate, huevos revueltos, cafe con leche y juguito de naranja. El mejor desayuno!

Hidden jewel in Miami serving Chilean food, all delicious, but what I go out of my way for is their breakfast with Chilean amasado bread with ham, avocado otlr whatever you prefer so long as that delish bread is included. Must visit low key, beautiful spot, just 15 minutes from Miami airport.

I have been to this restaurant over the years, i live 30 miles north so not too often. Today i can truly say was my last time. First we were asked to find our own table, none were blocked so we sat a bit away from other people there, table was dirty with old rice and sticky. We moved to another table same problem. We ordered a cafe con leche and toasted original chilean bread. What a joke, the waitress brought us a can of Nescafe, hot milk in a gkass measuring cup, seriously my wife and i were dumbfounded. Sorry to see this place go down the tube. Very disappointed.

    Try the pie, yo!

Had to give this place 5*. The place is simple and casual. Nothing too pricey, too fancy, too trendy, too sophisticated... Just a hearty meal, good options, lots of wines, down-to-earth peeps, tasty/delicious dinner! Gringos welcome! Paulina was a sweet lady and as her English was the best, she was helpful, and patient with me. 1st time having Chilean food for me. I'm not talking Sea Bass. I'm talking like empanadas and pastel de choclo! See images. Like said, nothing too extraordinary, but for those wanting to try something different and never had authentic Chilean, just go there. Oh and grab a bottle of vino on the way out. They're all Chilean and relatively inexpensive!

Probably one of the best restaurants I've been to in Miami. That bread and salsa is on point. The mechuga sandwich is always good also.

Her customer service and attention to detail was awesome, ensuring she stopped by multiple times throughout to top off water and check on my experience. I went with the grilled Chicken breast and double side of tostones which tasted fantastic. Of note, I covered the tostones in the garlic like sauce while they were hot, which rendered them a fine combo of crunchy and somewhat soft- in short, awesome. Personally, no meal is finished without some form of coffee at the end. I admit this habit stems from my upbringing and a penchant for American, French and Italian fare but this was no different. I enjoyed a Cortadito which tasted amazing and had beautiful presentation. If I could rate this experience 6 stars I would. They knocked it out of the park. Note: They're FIU student, police and county friendly to boot.

It seems that rather than buying or ordering more Swiss cheese, they use a Kraft cheese substitute, which tastes awful. I'm ordering this item while I'm on my lunch break at work, mind you. Guess we came at a good time cause later we did see more people come in. For starters, the staff here were all so professional and welcoming. Shoutout to MARIA for being the sweetest! Great recommendations from her. I loved the food so much. Mix ceviche -- so refreshing and loved the variety Jalea Bocas house (fried shrimp, fried fish, fried yuca fries) -- a little bit of everything and fried perfectly. Paired with the sauces. Skirt and fettuccine -- cooked as I requested (medium). Packed with flavor. SO FREAKING GOOD. Arroz cremoso de aji Amarillo with lomo saltado -- unique dish that worked so well. Recommend! Spicy margarita -- best drink here. Mezcal mule -- my mom and I didn't really like it because it was too smoky. Maria was kind enough to swap it out for us with another spicy margarita and didn't charge for the mezcal mule. Love the ambiance. They have daily promos on some of their items so be sure to check it out. I highly recommend this spot. 10/10

They boast both indoor and outdoor seating with the same aesthetic and nods to Colombian culture, like the cute hats and sandals hanging on the wall. We were seated inside fairly quickly on the Sunday afternoon we came in. They were pretty busy, but the waiters were kind of hanging out at the bar, just chit-chatting. We were able to get one of the servers to look at us after a couple of minutes of sitting there. They brought us a little palate-opener of a small portion of a simple soup. They had a margarita special we tried, $5 frozen margaritas. The maracuya (passion fruit) one was a solid choice. I also ordered the mojarra frita with white rice, tostones, and salad. The rice was really undercooked. The waiter tried to appease us by bringing us more of the same uncooked rice. We were not the only table to say something about it because our neighbors confirmed they too received the same and were also unhappy. Other than that, the rest of my meal was great. However, I will say my mom was very upset with her experience and expressed that her chicken wasn't prepared well either.

Unfortunately, what followed was a surprisingly disappointing experience -- and one that became harder to justify with every course. The service was slow and disorganized, our sangrias had to be returned, and the mixed ceviche was a very small portion with mostly tiny shrimp and very little fish. Then came the $110 parrillada. We ordered the meat medium, but much of it arrived overcooked and dry. Served on a hot platter, it continued cooking at the table. To make matters worse, it had taken nearly an hour to arrive, so sending it back simply wasn't an option we were willing to endure. The sides -- yuca, tostones, and fries -- were all underwhelming, and the sauces were so limited that we had to ask for more. Water wasn't replenished, and even the basic table service felt neglected. We eventually spoke with the manager, hoping for some acknowledgment of the experience. Instead, we were essentially told that we should have complained sooner. We explained that after waiting nearly an hour for our food, we weren't prepared to wait another hour for a replacement. We were offered complimentary desserts, but unfortunately, the churros were rubbery and seemed reheated, while the tres leches was just average. And then came the bill: nearly $200 for three people -- for lunch. Not dinner. Lunch. At that price, you expect the food, service, and overall experience to feel exceptional. Unfortunately, ours didn't come close. We didn't leave upset because the restaurant was expensive; we left disappointed because the experience simply didn't justify what we paid. We went in with high expectations and left feeling that Mordisco was not worth the price. Sadly, we won't be returning.
