Arepa de Huevo y Carne, Empanada de Carne & Carimañola de Queso

Not so accurate as the one in Barranquilla or Cartagena, Colombia but it's what's available as close to home. I mainly only visit here when my mom wants Carimañola de Queso & Arepa de Huevo; that's about it which they are absolutely delicious. It is all freshly made when you order big amounts therefore hot and crispy outside. They offer "cantina" which is prefix lunch specials for a certain price. Not many Colombian restaurants sale Pony Malta so when I visit is a must have! Parking can a little hectic as there are too many restaurants and business and not enough parking. Only thing is it closes at 5 pm if you're planning to take something home for dinner.

    The plastic plates.

I am amazed by the people who eat there. I heard about this place from a fellow coworker I gave it try and NEVER AGAIN will I EVER come back. The food was bad, no favor the coconut rice is just sad, the bollo de mazorca didn't even smell like corn it was to sweet it was put in the microwave in front of us that's not a restaurant and no where near like eating from your hometown. The price of the food was ridiculous 60$ for two plastic plate of food two drinks one pan de bono and one bollo de mazorca. I normally don't care enough to write a review on a shitty location but this company deserve it the staff looks like ready to quit they were rude. This need Gordon Ramsay to the rescue they should be ashamed to serve food like this. But hey you live and you learn I hope my review helps you turn the other way.

Awesome place! Great for a quick morning cafe con leche. Friendly staff, low prices, delicious baked good :)

Order the biztec with white rice, vegetables, and maduro. The meat was tender and cook fast. The restaurant has fast food option that customer can pick from the counter. Meal cost average $13.00

This is a Colombian restaurant with a funny story behind its name, just visit the place to find out. I've been coming here for years, usually for lunch or breakfast. They have a varied daily manu with some staples like the carne en posta (beef stew), arroz con coco (rice with coconut), tostones (fried green plantains), and other favorites. They also have tropical juices and desserts. The place is generally very clean and the staff is attentive.

Sancocho, rice, and a postobon. Awesome!

NPS = 7 When you have a Colombian girlfriend, you start finding yourself visiting a lot of Colombian places. This one here: you should try. The arepas con huevos are fantastic and definitely try the bollo limpio and chicharrones. The place really reminds me of visiting Colombia.

Comida muy costosa y no es tan buena. Además te sirven en platos desechables y poco, que desilusión de restaurante . No recomendado.

Great food. Fabulous cazuela de mariscos. Service lacks a bit, but food compensates. Figure about $15 per person total.

My wife and I decided to give this place a try. The food was terrible and tasteless. The only thing…read morewe liked was the bread. For beverages I ordered a hot tea and my wife ordered a coke. Unfortunately my wife received coke in a can which we really dislike when restaurants do this and I received hot water with a tea packet and some sugar packets (no complaints on my end) so far. As previously stated the bread was delicious. It was crispy outside and airy inside and tasted amazing with more than a hint of garlic. When our main entrees arrived we were stunned by how tasteless and disgusting the rice was. The rice had to have been sitting around in the back for a while. The rice was not fresh it was room temperature and clumpy. The rice would not break apart when I tapped it with my fork, it was like the rice was stuck together. The beef on my entree and my wife's entree were both tasteless and room temperature. Nothing was seasoned. I repeat nothing was seasoned. Theses entrees looked good and were very promising based on appearance. However, they tasted bad. Even the fries were unsalted and tasteless mush. The service was also terrible and our server seemed very preoccupied with other things. I believe he was the only waiter/server working during the time we were there. He was very impatient and rushed us for our orders. And he does not know English at all. It felt like we were running on his time. My pregnant wife was feeling stressed out by his behavior. The atmosphere was ok. It was kinda loud but the place wasn't bad atmosphere wise. There were not many people there even though it was around 3pm. It was just us and 3 other tables. Final opinion is this the worst Cuban restaurant my wife and I have ever been to. They took forever to bring out food that was not even fresh. We have had Cuban buffets that were fresher than this. We definitely will never return here. I hope your experience is better than ours. God bless and stay safe.

Enjoyed the tres leche cake! Enjoyed that the place was not too busy and got seated asap. I got the fish and shrimp combo which was good. It was a bit salty and needed more spice but, I enjoyed the portion with yucca and plantains. The place was good and vibe was great.
