Finally found a taco man that makes Keto friendly tacos! Tried Ah Carbon for the first time last night and they did not disappoint! Carne asada meat was juicy and flavorful, and the chorizo was great in flavor too. The best part was that they made them in a cheese shell "tortilla" for those of us that are on a low carb diet. This place is a taco stand an old school Tijuana style out in the open in the corner of a parking lot kinda place. If you are expecting fancy this place isn't for you. But if you grew up eating street tacos like I did this place takes me back to nights in Mexico. I have no idea if they are open weeknight so you might want to check. This place has pretty good food, I really enjoy the style of tacos they prepare. They also prepare diet friendly tacos. The meat is really tender for the most part. No complaints at all! If there's one thing I believe keeps them from getting that fifth star is the lack of friendliness. If they worked on that, the place may very well explode. I am a returning customer time and again however I know I'd be here twice the amount of times I have. Don't get me wrong they are not necessarily rude with the exception of one of the taco guys. But it seems and feels as though you're just a number. I understand and try to be sensitive to think that perhaps you're going through something personal which would be none of my business, but understanding, however when it's the rule not the exception as a recurring customer you really get to know the crew. Tried this new taco stand, it was satisfying. Their handmade tortillas were really good and the way the prep the tacos looks very tasty but it lacks a little ooomff in flavor. I also tried the mulita which is like a quesadilla because it has cheese but it's not folded instead it has a tortilla on top and bottom. I didn't like the pastor flavor too much, I think I tasted cumin or spice I've tasted in chili before. Overall, it's worth trying...everyone has different taste buddies. read more
