    Desayuno Especial sin plátanos

Small hidden spot , couldn't tell if it was open at first . At first look sketchy but when I tell you the food is good it's GOOD. The steak was on the smaller side but the flavor and how well it was cook had me on a choke hold . Great food!. Service wasn't bad either thank you ! Horchata was different from how I am use to was more of a nutty taste but good and refreshing as well

My friend that is Honduran highly recommended this place to me. After checking it out I can see why she had such high praise for it. My favorite dish on the menu is the tacos fritos/catrachos. If you're more familiar with Mexican cuisine this is the Honduran version of a flauta. These are huge in size and flavor. The fresh cheese, cabbage, onions, and sweetness from the salsa all combine for such an amazing flavor whether it is filled with beef or chicken. The pupusas here are also so good. I really like the ones filled with pork or cheese. The pork pupusas have a nice hint of saltiness, while the cheese ones have more richness to their flavor. The bean pupusas were disappointing and bland in flavor, so I recommend sticking to the pork or cheese filling. The pupusas also come with cabbage, onions, and salsa which all go great with the pupusas. When it comes to the baleadas it was either hit or miss. The first baleada I tried was filled with just pork and beans. It wasn't to my liking as I felt the pork was too salty, and the beans didn't really add anything to the flavor. However the second one was a baleada con todo and was much better. This one had eggs and cheese along with the pork and beans. The egg and cheese made it so much better by balancing out the saltiness, and added some richness to the flavor profile. If you come here looking for takeout I highly recommend you call ahead. The food is made to order and it takes time to prepare the food. My first time here I ended up waiting over 30 minutes for my order of tacos fritos, pupusas, and baleadas. The second time I called ahead and was told my order would be ready in 30 minutes. After arriving 30 minutes later I still had to wait another 15 minutes for my order which was frustrating. Regardless of the long wait times I definitely plan to come back for more of their delicious food.

Great food, excellent service. May be some of the best pupusas in town. Will definitely be returning.

We went here between January 27 & February 6/2026. La Potranca has five Florida locations, but this cantina does not feel like a chain. Authentic sabor Mexicano with an excellent friendly staff. Family friendly & handi-able accesible from the parking lot. This location gets full by 7pm but there is extended service & seating in the common covered courtyard. Plenty of parking in this strip mall location. Service is excellent, fast, & great choices of tacos & drinks. You can choose from 14 different meats/cuts for your tacos, including birria & al pastor. Bow to the taco! Also gringas, vampiros, & burritos. They have bowls (they're BIG) & brunch. p.s. try the churros with 3 dipping sauces. Drinks are extra special here. The clamato & beer cocktail is very unique. Served in a Tajin rimmed large mug, with lime & a tamarind wrapped straw. Excellante! Also a variety of margaritas served in whimsical glasses & their three house cervazas (beers) on draft. La Potranca pays homage to iconic singer & actor Vincente Fernandez "King of Ranchera". Check out the interesting connection with the staff or online. The staff here is excellent. Very helpful when navigating the menu. Very friendly. True professionals. Special shout out to Mauricio & Ralphael - you hombres make this place truly special. Mucho Gracias. We give La Potranca our highest recommendation. The hardest part about dining here was deciding what I wanted to order. I could have ordered the entire menu it looked so good! Helpful tip... check out the menu and know what you're going to order before you get in line. Otherwise you're going to be pressured to order at the front of the line. When you walk in, you place your order and pay for it and take a table number. You need to find your own table. Our service was pretty quick, despite how busy the restaurant was. My cold brew was very good and a nice start to the meal. Our guacamole came next and it was nicely styled with pomegranate, cheese and cilantro on top. Yum! The real star of the show for me was this unassuming looking House Club Sandwich that was to die for. Seriously ... it was so good. I ordered mine without the ham, and it was divine! I wish i lived closer. I'm already dreaming of coming back. My son ordered some kind of short rib/beef burrito and it disappeared so quickly I didn't even get to snap a photo. This is a perfect spot to enjoy a great meal, I highly recommend it. One thing I can say is that it's on the pricey side. $113 lunch for 2 added up super fast but it was well worth it. I'll be dreaming of that sandwich til my next visit!

I ordered the mahi mahi tacos, and while they tasted ok, the portion size felt pretty small for the price. Overall, it came across as a bit overpriced for what you get. The service style is more casual and self-directed. You order and pay at the register, get a number, and then find your own seat while they bring the food out to you. Water is self-serve, and once you're done with your meal, you just head out. There's minimal interaction with staff, which might appeal to people who prefer a more low-key, independent dining experience or want a place to sit and work without being interrupted. That said, the service did not feel very friendly or welcoming. And personally, I left feeling a bit underwhelmed.

The music selection is fire though and I was jamming out the whole time while waiting for my food. I complimented them on the music selection and they mentioned the owner is dominican and puerto rican which explained the great music selection. I was helped out by Adrian and his service was helpful in finding what dishes to order. I took my food to go and it was piping hot, definitely made fresh to order which I enjoyed. The nachos were what I was most eager to try as they are all the rage on social media. They lived up to the hype and that nacho cheese is absolute gold. I love that it's served in a pizza box. It just makes it iconic. It travels well and everything was still hot when I got home. The Al Pastor taco was just okay, nothing to write home about but now the steak burrito was really really good. I love that they don't have rice in their burritos and instead replace it with potatoes, which is absolutely delicious. They give two different types of salsas with your order plus limes and the green salsa is unreal. Add it to everything for a flavor boost! All in all this place is fire and if you're craving nachos, this is definitely the place you should come to get your fix!
