Came here on a weekend for an early dinner because the restaurant we wanted to try nearby was closed and we didn't have a car. The restaurant was pretty empty. It was just two of us, we sat down right away and noticed the menu had a good selection of items. We ordered one asada taco, a Mexican Caesar salad, and chicken fajitas. The food took close to 30 minutes to come out, to the point where I wondered if our food was forgotten about. The food was subpar. Chicken on the salad was good, but it seemed like there was no dressing though the menu stated there was "homemade Caesar" dressing. I would've asked for more but it honestly didn't even seem worth it at that point. The carne asada meat tasted like it had a fishy flavor like maybe cooking utensils were mixed or something...a bit odd. The fajitas were good. Overall, a subpar experience. read more

We stayed near the airport and was hungry. This place sounded good so tried it out. It's a sit down Mexican joint. Friendly service but not fast. Basically one person up front and one in the back. Didn't speak much English either so resorted to menu pointing. Food was solid but pricey. Decent portion sizes though. Quesadilla (4): good. Very cheesy which we liked. Burritos (5): we got pollo and asada. Both were solid and came with guac and pico de gallo. Flautas (3): super crispy which was good but the chicken was super dry and needed more seasoning. They really rely on the salsas here so drown them. Tacos (3): meats were all well done with good char but again, you need to eat them fast and right away cause the meat is overcooked and dry. Could also use seasoning. The camaron was the best out of asada, camaron, and al pastor. Overall, solid 3.5. they're pretty good on the grill. Many dishes could use more seasoning but the char was good. I'd recommend in a pinch. read more

Went here for a weekly Sunday date with my girlfriend. It was around noon so pretty empty. Place plays music videos but has it at a decent volume and also plays movies with no volume on another TV. An array of seating options. When seated you order your drinks and get some chips and salsa. The salsa is is really good. Just the right amount of kick. I later used it over the green sauce they gave us with our food cause the green sauce had no heat at all. I ordered 3 tacos, carne asada, al pastor and birria. The birria didn't come with compote but they made a side of it for it for $1. It comes with the compote if you order the 3. Just something to note. The tacos were all delicious. I opted to using the salsa the chips came with since the green sauce wasn't that spicy but it all came out great. The compote was so delicious I decided to take the leftover home to mix it another day with some other food. Service was good overall. Really good tacos and margaritas! Came in for taco Tuesday and the Pollo, Carnitas, and Al Pastor tacos were $1.99 each. They all had good flavor and the green sauce they came with was really good. They do not have military discount, but that's is not the reason for my 1 star review. While visiting Miami with a group of 4, how does it make sense to give a table of 4 people a SINGULAR salsa that small! When I ask for more she gave me 2 more. So someone had to share theirs. BUT WAIT THERE IS MORE! How in the world did they just select some of us to take gratuity. That makes no sense, so beware visitors 3 tacos and one drink will run you 20+ dollars and you may get a forced gratuity. I drove off and was missing one shrimp taco out of the two I ordered and I had to drive back to the restaurant. We ordered elotes (corn on the cobb) that looked like they only had butter and a sprinkle of cheese. We asked for a bit if mayo and cheese and it arrived when we had already finished the corn lol. The waitress told us to order now because food would take over 15 minutes come out. Restaurant was not even half full. We ordered a al pastor taco, and 2 carne asada. Carne asada was so bland! The al pastor taco looked like they served you with a miniature fork. I couldnt find one piece of pineapple! I kindly asked the waitress to come and i asked her if she could ask for a bit of pineapple to which she replied " there is some in there " to which i have to tell her in a serious tone that clearly there was none otherwise she could put everything aside and see for herself.
