We were headed to a different restaurant after running errands but passed by Pasha and decided to give it a try! The gentleman who waited on us and cooked our meal was very helpful and accommodating. Along with a few tables to eat inside and out, there is a grocery store with some great items not available in a regular store (we picked up falafel mix, date cookies, pickled cabbage, pickled cucumbers and a few other items while we were there!). We started with the foule mudammas (made with fava beans) - it was probably our favorite dish - deliciously spiced and served with pita bread (would have preferred the pita to be a little toasted). I went here because they got good reviews. They have a very small market on the premises which was good and they had a decent variety. I bought a jar of their lupini beans by Beirut which were very good and very reasonably priced (I would buy them again). The food on the other hand was disappointing. The tabouli had way too much dressing/vinegar on it. The hummus was decent but very thick. The grape leaves were filled mostly with rice (I do like rice) but they were soggy and barely warm. Stopped by here the other day with a good friend of mine. The staff here is very friendly. We ordered some hot tea, tabbouleh, and gyros. The hot tea was delicious with a hint of ginger and mint. The tabbouleh was very fresh, full of flavor, and appealing to the eye. The gyros dispite being big and tasty were a bit dry. Disappointed. I prefer all lamb instead of the beef and lamb combination. I had a god experience at this place. I lived in Kuwait for a bit and got attached to middle Eastern food. So when I passed this restaurant I had to come! The two men running the restaurant were very friendly and sweet to my little boy. They kept the restaurant clean and made sure we were comfortable. I ordered the chicken kabobs with the saffron rice and the hummus. I also requested the garlic paste. It's what a lot of middle Eastern people eat with their chicken and hummus. The pita bread isn't freshly baked, but it was still good with the hummus. I do suggest that they chill the beans before they make the hummus so it's more refreshing for people. Nobody really likes warm hummus, but I still like it. The rice was good, but could used more spice and flavoring, and the kabobs were good... but kinda tough. The garlic paste needs to be smoother but the taste was still good. This place was still good, but wanted to give them some constructive criticism. I'll be back! read more

The place was clean and smelled amazing. We ordered the gyro sandwich which had beef and lamb meat with tzatziki sauce, lettuce, tomato, the Royal combo kaftah chicken with basmati rice, and a side of Bulgarian feta cheese with olive oil and hommos with plenty of pita bread. Everything was delicious and seasoned well, the meat was fresh and not dry. My favorite was the hommos. The prices are reasonable. We purchased some olives to go and they were amazing! Limited seating outside in a noisy street so not good for some kind of intimate lunch/dinner. Styrofoam/plastic service. No alcohol. A grocery section with a variety of Eastern Mediterranean foods, sweets, drinks, teas, coffees, pastries. Moderate prices. While were eating outside a stream of locals were coming and going with togo orders and all knew the staff (Pasha was fasting for Ramadan) and the staff knew them. Its a small restaurant with a small market. We had lamb shank plate, shish tawook kabob plate, and lebna and soup for appetizers. The lebna was made very well, you'll enjoy it when you eat it with mint and olive oil although the olive oil was too much. For the soup, perfect soup to be with the food just add lemon and becomes superb! As for the main dish, shish tawook was amazing. It was a good dish for those who are craving for arabian food. The lamb shank was cooked in an excellent way. Beyond our expectations!! I would recommend to go to this restaurant if you are going to Daytona Beach! read more
