Thank you Bernie for coming to our rescue. We were stuck on the side of the freeway in about 100 degree weather for 2 hours + 20 minutes with a flat tire. After trying to get the roadside assistance ( 2 hours wasted) through my insurance company (21st Century) to respond with ANY solution, I finally gave up. Luckily someone in the car had AAA and a call was placed. About 5 minutes later, Paso Robles Towing showed up and quickly solved our problem. Paso Robles Towing (Bernie) found out that we didn't have a spare tire so he went and got us a used tire in about 20 minutes and then put it on in about 5 minutes. He showed up nearly 2 hours after we rang our insurance company... evidently his daddy owns the company, so he arrives when he wishes with his waxed eyebrows and his name stitched to his shirt. Sergio is the best - not only the best tow truck driver, but also the best person you want to call when you need a tow or help with your disabled vehicle. I am so glad he came to my rescue out on CA-58 near the Carrizo Plains when my RV's electrical system just quit and I had to coast to the opposite side of the road. I had new batteries installed a week before and the Battery store missed attaching one of the cables and it connected with the RV frame and shorted everything out. My 4 tires were slashed yesterday at the Paso Robles Event Center so I needed a tow to Atascadero where my tire and mechanic is. So naturally I was feeling so shi*ty and low about this act of vandalism, but lucky, I was so blessed to have Sergio pick me up! If I could give this place a zero, I would. I got serviced through aaa with them. They are absolutely the worse at customer service and customer appreciation. Back in July, after conducting business in Paso Robles I got a flat tire. When the "technician" arrived he was disrespectful, throwing the stuff, tossing the lugs on the floor, and slammed my tire on the back of my truck. When I got back to Los Angeles, I was told that my spare tire holder was damaged, and they skimmed the nut to bring the tire back up on the bottom of the truck. I called them, and they did not take responsibility for it. They lied to AAA and told them that It was an older truck, and that the part was form wear and tear. The part was replaced a month prior to them messing with it. The secretary has attitude, and most importantly, their staff is not trained to properly use the equipment. I am disappointed. read more

I needed a tow to Glendale, Ca from Paso Robles on a Saturday as my vw bus broke down. I had my husband call AAA. They said someone would be there in 3 minutes en route. I got a call from Paso Robles towing saying they were busy and having a hard time locating a driver . Claimed they would be there in one hour . Hour and a half later , a very rude unprofessional ROGELIO showed up in a AAA flatbed tow truck. He asked me if the dispatch said I would get towed today or tomorrow , I said today . Then he asked if it was me or my husband in the AAA card I said both of us but my husband had called it in for me . He tried to give me a hard time about the fact that a male had called in . He then said no passengers are allowed to ride in the tow truck during the tow home . I told him I have been riding in the tow truck for many years since we have been members . It was clear he didn't want to deal with towing me home . He then walked across the street and stared at me while he called someone on his cell phone and bitched. Then he went inside his truck still in the phone and stared at me while he argues with someone on his cell phone some more . After 10 minutes he comes out of the truck and I ask if he is gonna give me a ride , he says no and his boss is in his way and he drives off. Another hour later and his boss Sergio shows up with a regular tow truck not a flatbed . He ended up driving me all the way home to Glendale , which is covered through AAA. I feel it is unprofessional and rude to cherry pick your AAA customers due to the length of the tow . I understand it is a busy Saturday but my interaction with ROGELIO has made me RECONSIDER my relationship with AAA in the future. The owner Sergio went above and beyond to take me home safely and made sure to ask if I needed to stop for a restroom break etc along the way which is the silver lining in this review. He apologized for the rude unprofessionalism of ROGELIO and made the ride home comfortable and safe . ROGELIO was a total ass and if I ever get stuck and need towing I would make sure that I didn't have to deal with him in the future . Pete Johnston, if you are reading this, you should seriously consider replacing Sandra, the woman that operates your front desk. She was so rude and SO disrespectful to me and my friends when we were trying to have my car released from your tow yard, claiming my male friend was being difficult with her when all he was doing was asking her to clarify your fees and policies, for a better understand of what we were paying for. But, that seemed like it was too much of a hassle for missy in the front, and she was sure to let us know she was annoyed. Her whole attitude changed though when an older gentleman came out (who we learned was you, Pete when you came out to speak to me and my friends.) I even thanked her after the ordeal and held out a hand to shake hers but she just looked me in the face, and ignored my hand shake entirely. When I asked her for her name, she gave me the name "Priscilla". The only reason I can even think why this review even deserves 1 star is because your tow yard staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, in particular Bernie. They heard how I was being treated by her, and apologized ON HER BEHALF, what a shame! And when I asked them for her name and the managers, they gave me her true name, Sandra, and the owner/manager, Pete. I was appalled, I can't believe it. So unprofessional. Chp towed my bike. They told me they are very careful and do it properly. How ever they towed it it wasn't right. Otherwise my mirror on one side and my bar end weight look like they were drug across the asphalt. And a small scratch in my tank. It was there less than two hrs and cost $670 to get it put. My 2018 Cadillac Escalade had Battery problems while passing through Paso Robles. I'm pretty hand and figured I could jump it myself. Okay; this has to be the best review I've ever given anyone! Truly; heaven is missing an angle! A tow truck driving ANGEL! I ran out of fuel and put myself in a real jam! I called AAA and they sent out a driver based on information from a GPS robot. Unfortunately, (fortunately for us), it gave out wrong info.and the driver they sent ABORTED THE CALL, going on to another call and left me on the freeway. Sergio; (guy on right, in photo above) happened to be passing by in the opposite direction, on his way home!!. He picked up what was going on, on the radio, saw my truck and 5th wheel on the other side of the road, and decided to rescue me! Oh my gosh! What a wonderful person! THEN... He stopped, attached the entire rig to his truck, AND TOWED ME TO A NEAR BY GAS STATION!! That wasn't all! After the tank was full of diesel, he climbed under the hood and performed the necessary protocol needed to start the engine again! All the while, he taught me 3 different important things to know, in case I ever need to tow my 4 wheel drive again! GET THIS! No extra charges for all of this! AAA rate paid it all! Sergio is amazing. Just amazing. So glad to know people like him still exist in this world!! My husband and I broke down on our way to a wedding with out 6mo old two weekends ago. We had to use LYFT the rest of the way to get there on time. The next day we call AAA and they send Pete Johnson Towing. Alfonso was nice, and said the mechanic shop he was towing us to was the best, but they're not open on weekends, so we will have to leave the car and find a way home, which we did. Turns out the mechanic is not the best and they charged us $200 to just look at the car. We drive down again the following weekend, another 3.5 hours with our baby, call AAA again to get the car towed back to Livermore because nothing is open in Paso Robles for the weekend apparently, and we can't keep driving down there. AAA says no problem. We will just have to follow the tow truck home. Alfonso shows up again and says that he cannot tow our car today, but we will get it by Wednesday... four days later. So we drove 7hours with our baby that day and still didn't have a car. Tuesday rolls around and they call to say they'll leave at 6am Wednesday and call us when they're an hour out. We never receive that call. We called them at least 5x between myself and my husband. I called at 7pm and the dispatch said she'd call me right back. And hour later I call again and ask about our car and she says "oh, right." And puts me on hold without saying anything else. After about 4min she picks up to say "please hold" and keeps me on hold for another 4min. After 8min total, she says our car was dropped off at Dublin Toyota but she doesn't know anything else. She said they'd call us in the morning. Today, in the AFTERNOON we got a call saying our car was dropped off already. We have been without our car for almost two weeks, and now there is something more wrong with it than what was wrong from when the first mechanic looked at it. I'm not sure if something happened while our car was who-knows-where all day on Wednesday, or if the first mechanic was not as good as the tow company suggested. Either way, I am severely disappointed and needed to share my experience. We have also reported this to AAA. read more

Sorry this is a late review, but this company Hands down is the greatest towing company. Bernie was amazing. He was enroute to help us but we thought we were good. He helped me through text to find some places to help with our flat. Unfortunately all shops were either closed or too busy since it was a Sunday.
