Not only can I satisfy everyone's picky palates, I can fulfill my protein goals and keep the carbs (simple carbs of course, ha!) Low. And for those of you who are obsessive with macro counting like me, the macro count is clearly found on the label. These "healthy" meals are still tasty and love that they don't have that "preservatives frozen meal" taste. The meals are about $10 a piece but you're paying for convenience as well as "healthy". Health is wealth. Healthier foods are always going to be more costly. You have the option of delivery but why pay the extra fee when they have so many locations to pick up from. Can't make it during their hours of pick up? No problem. Just shoot them a message and they make it convenient for you. Oh and the lovely little boxes the meals come in? Reusable! So if you ever decide to get into meal prep yourself, (good luck with that! Lol!), you can save these little boxes for that or use them as left over containers for your relatives at the holidays.

Unreliable and unprofessional- do not use…read more We purchased a "gourmet 4 course dinner in our home" for $1500 at a silent auction for a charity, with the thought that if she did well with an event for our friends, we would book her for more important, professional events later. I'm SO GLAD I made that choice because this was a bad experience. We scheduled the date, set the menu ... and then Vivian canceled the day beforehand. We rescheduled and declined her offer for extra food to make it right, offering some grace since issues happen sometimes. On the 2nd attempt, she sent me a text the afternoon of the event to say she was "stuck in traffic," but her sous chef would get things started and she would be there in time to cook the dinner. She never showed up AT ALL that night. The sous chef said Vivian just had other events that conflicted with mine-- so apparently it was just poor planning. Her sous chef was very young, nice and hardworking. However, it was a lot for one person, without having the support person to plate & serve the food, clear the courses, etc. I pitched in to be nice and acted as our server, but for $1500, I definitely should not have had to! And more importantly, since she couldn't focus solely on cooking, she made some mistakes, such as inconsistent results in the temperature of the meat across the servings (some were great and others were overcooked) and cold, over-mashed potatoes that turned pasty/gummy. Vivian also forgot about the conversation we previously had about our dessert choice and had the girl make something different than what I chose. I made that dessert choice for a very specific reason and am frustrated by her lack of attention to detail, which is obviously a pattern. On top of Vivian's poor behavior with the 2nd "no show", when I gave her the feedback about the food at our event and told her that I was disappointed, she decided to ARGUE with me, rather than even apologizing. Apparently, she felt she knew exactly how everything tasted, based on a few pictures that the sous chef texted to her, so I was wrong. It was an inappropriate and unprofessional response, especially given the other mistakes that were made.

Between making special meals for my husband and our toddler I was starting to feel like a short order cook. My husband decided to have meals delivered to our home from Eat Right. Since I wanted to lose some weight too I selected the conventional meal plan for myself and my husband selected the keto meals. Every week we receive meals delivered to our front door step. Meals for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday are delivered Monday morning and Thursday and Friday's meals are delivered Thursday morning to ensure the freshest meals. We could have meals delivered for the weekend on Thursday, but we enjoy cooking and occasionally dining out so we opted to not do meals during the weekend. I was a little skeptical how the meals would taste since I have tried other prepared meals in the past, but the meals at Eat Right have been pretty good if not sometimes excellent! The chimichurri steak, steak hibachi, chicken sandwich, beef enchiladas and Asian meatballs have been some of my favorite dishes. The most surprising thing about the meals have been the high quality cuts of meat. The steaks are usually very tender and contain little to no gristle. There have been a few misses. I haven't been a fan of most of the ground turkey meals and now avoid them when selecting my weekly menu. A few of the vegetables have been underwhelming such as plain green beans or steamed broccoli. I usually reheat these on the stove with a little lemon, garlic, and a splash of olive oil. So far the meals have made life easier for me and my husband and I have lost some weight so we are both fans of Eat Right!

Delivery has been smooth and reliable, and the variety is a huge win. I was previously using another local meal prep service that just didn't cut it. There were limited options and the taste was only okay. FitEx has been a complete upgrade in every way. I have already recommended it to 3 other people. I'm genuinely excited to keep ordering, and FitEx Meals is definitely becoming a staple in our fridge!

I've been stopping by here on and off over the past year. Inside is just a front counter with a microwave on it and the register. To the right of the door are two freezer/coolers that hold all the meals available. On the left they have a bunch of different protein bars. They usually have a wide variety of entrees, a few breakfasts, an overnight oat, and one, maybe two protein desserts. All of their entrees seem to be between 400-500 calories, with anywhere from 30 - 45 grams of protein. I love that every entree is tagged with all that information, plus the expiration date, although I wish that some of the entrees included what exactly was in them. For that, you have to ask the guy working the counter. Four entrees usually cost around $48 with tax. I have tried many different things but so far my favorite has been the tacos and salmon. These are the perfect meal when you don't feel like cooking; each meal heats up in the microwave in about 2 minutes. Make sure you register for their points program - I've already earned $5 off my next visit.
